This series kinda reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho for some reason. Except that Baki the Grappler was WAY more violent and explicit XD.
It seemed okay. The story at least seemed great, but I'm not too big a fan of the big huge muscly guys fighting violently. I like anime fights like in Ranma 1/2, Mech animes (cept Evangelion), Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. Like with special powers and with superhuman strengths without it being too obvious as to how it would look in real life...if that makes any sense that is. XD But the storyline does looks awesome. When Nagis showed me the first episode and different parts of the series and movie I kept getting glued to watching them. XD |

There was another Baki movie, but it was called "Ultimate FIghter" same name, but different hair, plus the guy had a Jet Li kinda of style with the whole vocal output after an attack.
Im on episode 19 right now. =D |

I forgot Dir en Grey did that opening. I was caught off guard by 'Child Prey' jumping into my ears right when I played the clip. I love Dir en Grey, so that was a treat.
Then I realized....I've seen an episode or an OVA before on TV. It was dubbed so.....yeah. But the action was great. |

Ok, of course you have your animes out there that has alot of action and fighting in it. Baki is completely different from your "Ordinary Fighter".
See, I got my hands on the newest seasons of Baki, and it was nothing compared to the other episodes I have seen. I mean the series have....Jesus, watch the OPENING. GO out, find it, and watch it. RIght now. |
