I made the "mistake" of telling him what Brandon and I were going to do while he was on break at the courthouse and after a while he kept asking, "So when do I get my pie?"
Then I said we were just going to eat it without him. Then he sadly asked, "Or you could eat it with me?" Anyway, we showed up at his house with an Oreo cream pie and a candle in the shape of a 4 in the center of it. He ate a piece and went to bed. 
While we were buying his pie, we noticed Sara Lee apparently packages single slices. We toyed with the idea of throwing that out the window, onto his lawn, and driving away. Brandon suggested tying it to a brick and throwing it through his window, clocking him while he played WoW. Ha. We're so mean to the little bugger. One of our bestfriends and yet so fun to tease sometimes. |

Pat likes to joke that people should not celebrate their birthday after they've passed 21, but they're free to at every tenth b-day. It's all a Patton Oswalt joke about "wasting cake and paper" if you celebrate a 22+ birthday.
Part of it can be heard here: So Zoso and I were planning on celebrating by buying a Marie Callendar's pie and eating it while he's at the courthouse. We'll call him up later and tell him we celebrated for him. Maybe throw in the "We bought you a pie, but we eated it." Nah, we'll probably share it with him. Then again, Junkie's gone to culinary school and suddenly nothing tastes good to him if it isn't something he or a 5-star chef made themselves. |

Yeah, he'll never see this. This isn't meant to collect birthday wishes.
This is just to inform everyone of the sad celebration he's in for today--he got assigned jury duty on his b-day. If that weren't the case he'd be working. Alongside an angry lesbian who drives him crazy. That is all. |
