Phoenix smelt the old gym socks, wondering where it was coming from. He cautiously sniffed his cauldron and turned away quickly. He ran towards Vulkar, vomit spewing from his mouth. Vulkar was in for a treat.
***Projectile vomiting: Lasts two posts. It is a projectile attack, and will burn any armor/flesh if hit. Also makes you smell really bad, and ruins your appetite.*** |

In Phoenix capitalism, the cauldrons of water burn like plastic. Which is to say it looks cool, but smells absolutely terrible. Vulkar's eyes widened, first at the forth box, entitled "Team Edward." Clearly Vulkar was hotter than even Edward Cullen! Then he saw the bunnies, and a madness took over. He charged into the roasting bunnies, and ate with happiness. |

Phoenix stares in awe, shock numbing his brain.
If Vulkar manages to eat all of these, he will be ten times more powerful! Thinking quickly, Phoenix pulls a cauldron from inside of his tux, already filled with water. He quickly sits it on the ground, and lights the grass below ablaze. Unless I eat them first... Phoenix glances up at Kyoku and Vulkar to see what they are planning. A grimace appears on his face as he realizes that no one is helping him. "Damn commies," he mutters beneath his breath. |

*She looked at both opponents, a grin spreading over her face* "So you both wish to fight here and now... alright. Good luck." *Another flash of lightning strikes the ground and the woman was gone. The combatants find themselves looking at the crowd floating above them in observation boxes labled Team Vulkar, Team Phoenix, and a huge one labeled Team Kyoku. Vulkar grinned at Kyoku as Elara blocked Phoenix's blast. "The girls are swooning over me!" He points at two girls in the front row, ash from Phoenix's fire covering their once beautiful faces. "Specifically, those two!" He decided not to mention their constant and disturbing stalking of his Facebook. Not to mention their excessive use of the word, "glomp," "Who wants to kill some bunny lovers!" |

((I was SO hoping you would say that, I was dying to use that line)) *she saw the blast and held up her hand, a shield of dark energy crackled into existance and the fire hit it with no effect* "Now, seriously, as one of the ancient Masters of Darkness that protect this realm, I ask that if serious combat shall take place it be in the battle realm to maintain order. Phoenix looked down at his hands as the fire went out.
"The Dark Elf Goddess should know better than to GodMod, don't you think , Vulkar?" Phoenix smiled and summoned the holy fire into his hands once more. "What say I, Elf Goddess? I say that this is not just about Vulkar--oh no. I want total board domination." With that, Phoenix sent a ball of fire hurling towards the Elf Goddess. If she moved out of the way, it would smash into Vulkar anyway. Either way, someone was gonna get-a hurt a-reeaaalll bad. |

*The clouds overhead begin to churn and turn dark above the podium and suddenly a flash of what can only be described black lightning edged with purple strikes the stage between the two candidates. Standing in the place now is a very tall woman wearing ornate dark robes, long dark green hair and pointed ears. Her arms are stretched out between Vulkar and Phoenix as if to separate them*
"Stop" *the voice has a decidedly otherworldly quality and though not spoken loudly can be heard by all* "You would bring civil war to Xeomerica, and as one of it's guardians, I cannot allow that to come to pass." *The Dark Elf Goddess looks at each of them in turn. The fire in Phoenix's hand goes out. Any that look to where Elara used to stand find no one, but there are signs of another lightning strike where she stood* "If you wish a duel of honor, then retire to the realm of battle to settle your differences, but the pristine land of Xeomerica shall remain unmarred. The election shall hold until after the duel is settled and shall then continue normally between the winner and the Mystery Candidate. What say you?" |

The temperature continued to rise, but if Phoenix was unsettled by the phenomenon, he did not show it. Quite the contrary, Phoenix seemed not to notice at all. |
