The prices in my area are hopping around like crazy. They're going up to 3.45 and down to 2.78, It's completely insane. I've just realized this sudden strange occurance. And they do seem to jump up and down at the most random of times. This radio station held a promotional gig at the gas station not to far from me, their radio station is 93.3 WMMR, and they had a little thing where the first 93 people to get to the gas station at the specific time, would get their gas for .933 a gallon. It was spectacular!

It went down to $2.78. I just got a new car, so this makes me EXTREMELY happy. My car eats gas like whoa.

Gas prices suck lately. They're at $3.30 or so at a place down the street from my
house now and I live about three blocks from Zabuza. I've been trying to work more
so I can get the money to buy a truck but I'm starting to think getting my
motorcycle permit again might be a better idea. Cheaper overall defenitely.

See, this is why I do not own a motor vehicle, nor do I worry about getting one, public transportation works unless I have some sort of extremely gas efficient car...

i don't think you really appreciate the situation we're in, or understand. our "reserves" isn't our other states... =/ anyways, our reserves isnt as much as you think. yes it is more than other countries, but oil doesnt grow everywhere -.-' so yeah, of course other countries who btw are smaller, will not have as much as we do.

and i don't think they'd care if we bought oil from them or not. there are many countries who'd love to take it away from us. many countries in europe are paying $7 right now... so yeah, i'd like to see the mideasterns crawl back -.-' but that's never going to happen in a million years. they can make double the money in europe. or at least, even more from us if the europeans are aleady used to high prices.

anyways, ppl keep complaining, but in europe, they pay about $7 anyways...

plus, i think our prices rising could be a good thing. right now, the hybrid cars are pretty expensive. and it's only natural, because the demands are low. with higher gas prices, the demand will grow, which means more production for those cars, which will mean the value will lower. also, not only will hybrids be in demand, but there will be a demand for other fuels. like biodiesel, which is what most cars in europe are ran on.

like... they could make a car that runs on either or and regular gas, veggie oil (biodiesel), and electric.

right now, our domestic cars cannot/will not run on biodiesel because for the makers to do that, there has to be fueling stations. for there to be fueling stations, there has to be biodiesel cars. it's a classic catch 22. hopefully, this rise in a potential of up to $7/gallon, will force consumers to want these things, which will force manufactures to make them.

anyways, all in all, this isn't your over night kind of thing. it takes years, and years, and years, meanwhile, the public suffers.

Get your car checked ASAP if it's running too rich. The motor will get lean, the engine will blow up. Getting it checked out is cheaper than having to rebuild en engine.

Mine is about $2.83 a gallon, Im not too angry about it, I do everything to get more MPG our of my car, Correctly adjusted carb, with small primary venturis (thank god) a well maintained K&N air filter and fuel filter. New plugs and wires.

I usually stay out of the "politics" of gas cause its just a big cat fight to me.

I'm a bit lucky here, it being $2.89. I say we mine Alaska, if only it didn't take so long to get up an oil system.

So Seticus, how do you like bing known as an "Even" indicating that' you aren't the best? I'd better be quiet...

Tapping into our reserves is a temporary solution that will only help for a few months tops. What we need is to get off our asses and make cars run off of alternate fuel sources. Cars can run of vegetable oil if they have the right part installed! Veggie Oil!! It's replenishable and much less polluting... it comes from corn for crying out loud... HAVE YOU EVER DRIVEN THROUGH KANSAS? NOTHING BUT CORN!! It could fuel the entire nation for a year alone!

I think you should blame me for that. Check my user comment and you'll see what I mean.

And my gas price just went up to $2.89 now. Why are idiots increasing gas price if soon or later, we are bound to run out of money because of ridiculous gas price?

We're up to $3.19 at the Mobil station, $3.27 at ARCO, $3.43 at the Fuel for Less, in Paramount. And we're supposed to be the cheapest city in LA County. I expect an increase to just over $4 in the next few months. But, I'd think about investing in fuel companies since we need to spend on gas no matter how high it gets.

I want my Prius more now. Or, the Citroen C4.

$2.79 here. It tends to flip-flop back and forth (so there can be 2.50 on someday, and the next would be $3.00. My mother once told me that she saw a gas station only cost $2.37 a gallon and was a cheap steal then most gas station she saw.)

Actually, air is so much cheapest, why can't we run on that? Oh, right... Anyway, at this point, it is going to continue to go up and soon or later, everyone is going to hate the government/ridiculous gas price, we are going to use some other mean of transportation.
