I would say not to use Putfile though. Putfile only works for Windows which would keep some people out of this. I would suggest using Streamload or Rapidshare for temporarily hosting the files for other people to hear the songs. Then after the songs are put into combat, the losing one can be deleted from the site. Just a suggestion though.

Posts: 67/417		 I have a cool music player on my site. I could work with Xeo and DarkSlaya to get an mp3 uploader and the music player. We could make it for Board Members only to keep the RIAA at bay. All I'd have to do is modify a couple of pages in the music player and it should work. If Xeo or DarkSlaya see this and think its a good idea, they should talk to me about it.

That could be a requirement...Like "You have to either have the song, or find the song in some sort of Video on Youtube"....Something like that..

I seriously want this a go. Xeogaming needs more events like these!

I see Colossus' point...but...if it worked for the Game Dudes, then why not give this a shot?

All of the songs arent going to be put into a battle royal or anything. Its gonna be a one on one battle...Kind like how Battle of the Game dudes was

You know, I said that out loud while I was talking on the phone with some of my friends. I told them that mostly half of the board likes metal, and the others like their seperate genres of music.

But I think we should try this...Maybe even have a "battle of the Music genre." As well

Posts: 3567/7838		 Ok, Xeogaming had plenty of contests like "Battle of the Game dudes" or something like that. While I was in my room listening to music, Something popped in my brain that I think would be a swell Idea.

Why not have Xeogaming have a "Battle of the Bands"? I thought of it like this:

Users will first start out by posting their favorite songs by their favorite bands (I thought maybe 3 per member or something like that), users vote, listen, give their draw back on them, and compete on how the song impacts Xeogaming.

I kinda thought of it like a gameshow/ American Idol sort of thing. The way users can have each other listen to songs, either Youtube, or upload the song yourself to Yousendit.com.

Like on Gaia, Im trying to throw out ideas here.
