| Mech warrior is one of the best games on the computer. Rivaling games such as unreal tournament and blizzard's games, this is one of the games almost everyone should have. It offers maximum control over your mech, and is more realitic then many other games I've played.
Let's start off with the weapons. You can have almost any weapon, going from high powered gauss rifles, to little machine guns. Some are strong, and some are very weak. Now for the actual mechs. All have an extreme advantage. For the light mechs, it's speed. for the heavy, it's armour and weapons. So far then it's een proved that light mechs are actually better at fighting heavy mechs the other heavy mechs. The primary stratagey is this, the light mech, who probably machine guns and light missles, gets near the mech and starts circling while shooting their rapid fire weapons. light mechs are just faster than the heavy mechs cockpit, and can keep away from being hit. Another stratagey is to ram the heavy mech and get under the weapons as to avoide getting shot. Now for the mech builder tool. You can alter your own mech easily by just adding weapons, or maximizing armour. I've even seen a few heavy mechs (such as the black knight) with jump jets.
