| Hey I found production photos of Rent! It's a musical that's really really really neat! I hope you all enjoy them. The trailer already appeared on Access Hollywood. But it's coming to theater November 11, 2005.
How I came upon these....  That's for you all to find out and for me to know.

| I saw the trailer and it looks great to me. I bet it would be better on stage. I saw Camelot and I prefer that on stage than on movie. But it looks pretty nice... ahem AWESOME. | |||

| Saw the trailer two weeks ago and thought it was pretty awesome. Normally I flip over these movies because there's so much more that could have been done.
Looks like they got all the original cast for it, except for Mimi and Joanne. Mimi to be played by Rosario Dawson. I'm pleased to see many of the same costumes and the songs are done the same. If we wanna talk experience with this operetta, I've memorized the songs and everything since I was in elementary school and my theater friends and I would sing as much of it as we could during lunch. I've collected various pieces of the memorabilia, seen tapes of performances, and for the longest time carried on in various fan groups for it. Physically saw it in a theater for the first time a year ago. Truly it was like being a fan of a movie star and getting to meet them years down the line. The only thing I have doubts about are the psuedo-fans that'll come from this. Jesus Christ there'll be a lot. It's like when I was a fan of Chicago, had seen it so many times, and then the movie came out and suddenly everyone's a Fosse fan. Jeepers.... |

| I figured I'd bump the original thread.
I just saw how Rosario Dawson looks in the movie. http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/rent/site/downloads/wallpapers/02_1280_1024.html She's the upper right hand corner. My God does she look amazing. I don't think i've seen her look any hotter. And is it me, or does she bare a slight resembalance to Angelina Jolie in that photo?
