Yeah, he seems awesome.

Gilbert, Malmsteen, Becker, (maybe even a little of Marty Friedman), Batio, Impellitteri, and a few others here and there seem like gods. They're too good.

Jason Becker is still probably my favorite guitarists however. Regardless of his disease, and that he cannot play anymore (he can't move), he still composes music with his eyes using computers, and whatnot. And because of that, he's such a huge inspiration, I just love him. A good documentery over him.

I give thee a taste of:

Honestly, give them a couple of cahnces. You may love them, or hate them. I really couldn't say. But I can say at first ... I honestly didn't like them at all. Then I got their Triumph of Steel album, and heard the first 28 minute song, and was blown away. From there I kind of became obsessed.

One things for sure, Eric Fucking Adms. He's become probably my favorite vocalists, period.

Their lyrics are tame. They do repeat themselves. And half of their songs, are singing about Heavy Metal itself, but they're really an enjoyable band, and some awesome stuff to listen to while driving.

1988 Kings of Metal - Hail and Kill - This song should clearly show off some of Eric Adam's power. And its an overall incredible song. This is their grooviest and best album in my opinion.

1992 Triumph of Steel - Metal Warriors - This song is simple, but just insanely awesome. The screams, the goofy words, and the catchy rythm is awesome. Pure classic.

2002 Warriors of the World - Call to Arms - This song is amazing to drive to. Its just really catchy, the words are so clear. (They're also over 50 years old in this one)

So theres Manowar. Tell me what you think.

But I do like Man O war though...I dont have any albulms, but I do have a couple of songs by them on some burnt CD lying here and there...

Uh, that post didn't seem to make sense.

You didn't like the songs, but you do like Manowar, but you don't have any albums, but you do have some songs ...

Eh?

=.= ;;;

I was tierd when I made that post...lets try again...

Afterlistening to "Call to arms" thats really the only sampler I like from what you showed me Xeo. However the vocalists on the other 2 dont really appeal to me at all...I dont know why, I guess im just used to the heavier vocalists on other branches of metal or something.

However there are 2 other Man O war songs I have on various burnt CD's I have. I dont know what they are called, but I know they are ManoWar due to the fact it loads the albulm cover on Windows Media player....

There we go, sound better?

Time for a gigantic update.

I think nobody reads this thread anymore besides you Sajin, and well the Manowar songs may have scared some fans away.

Time to win!
(I've gotten back into the faster stuff now that the Manowar phase has left me).

.
Luca freaking Turilli: Prophet of the Last Eclipse - This album is INCREDIBLE! Unlike any of his work with Rhapsody and his first solo album, this one has a slightly futuristic feel to it. And that's what you get with an incredible CD cover like this. Explosive and powerful, some of the intro's to songs sound like something right ouf of the Matrix soundtrack. I'm not always in the mood for his kind of insane stuff, but when I am ... phew it gets me pumped.
- Prince of the Starlight

Tad Morose: Undead - Definitely awesome stuff here. The vocalists is amazing, at times he sounds like Hansi Kursch (Blind Guardian) and then sound like Geoff Tate (Queensryche), so he has quite a huge range. Besides that, their style is pretty basic, but top of their game in terms of European metal. They remind me a lot of Blind Guardian, but with a simpler style. Check out some songs here. Another Time Around is pretty amazing. Definitely getting more of their albums.
- Corporate Masters

Racer X's Paul Gilbert:

Racer X: Street Lethal - Honestly, I thought Gamma Ray was going to have a run for their money (yes I just said that). Racer X's first two albums are beyond good, they're at the quality of Judas Priest's best albums, but faster, and more showcasing when it comes to their incredible solo's with Paul Gilbert. But I was a little disappointed with Superhero's, their 3rd album from 2001. The quality didn't seem very good, and the sound and style seemed a little different. Still not bad, but not as amazing as their first two albums from the 80's. Just listen to the guitar ... I would have loved to upload -every single- song from this album, but ya know.
- Street Lethal

Chris Impellitteri (band Impellitteri) :

Impellitteri: Screaming Symphony - Extremely good. And I can see how people compare their style to Racer X. Shreds of destruction, technical powers, incredible vocals, etc. And in all honesty when the choirs come in and even the vocalists at times ... sounds like Gamma Ray. Instant win.
- Rat Race

That more like it folks? If you don't like this stuff, then well that is an insult to me, and I will destroy you!!!

Ah ...
METAL, THE ELEMENT OF LIFE!

(sorry, just been getting more and more obsessed as my CD collection grows)

I like the music, just not a fan of growling.

And it looks like he could beat up people with his hair ...

The CD Album Cover is awesome though, for Prophet of the Last Eclipse. It's super cool.

Totally rad to the max.

I'll have to check out Savage Circus.

But yeah, Luca Turilli and Blind Guardian are pretty awesome.

Prophet of the Last Eclipse is probably my favorite album Luca Turilli has ever put out, even compared to his Rhapsody albums.

My opinion on Dragonforce remains as ...

They're okay. But not that great all. I think they tend to be a little full of themselves, or are just trying to be the fastest band on the planet. And maybe that's what's so great about them, but their 2nd and 3rd album's sounded like one big songs. They reused so many riffs, even solo's, and tons of things and some songs sounded like slight remixes of others. So it really just gets boring listening to them after a few songs.

Their first album was very good though, but after that I think they got way too repetitive.

And Heres Black Dahlia Murder
Incoming Transmission

Thrash metal at its finest. I saw them in Concert a month before school ended....First time i dranked too. Got Drunk, and I had great memories while I was in a moch pit...While the above song was played, I busted open my head and blead...I stook around and continued to thrash.

This is me. Though if you ever know me in real life you would never think i would love this type of music.
