| So I have a new list for this month. Granted there are more people I'd like to add, but I'd rather not go against my original rules.
- My bio professor. Though I love her, she scheduled a field trip for during school and what's more, I have an English class that immediately follows her class. The English class that I will be missing, is headed by a teacher who only allows you two absenses over the course of the semester, and on the day of the trip, the English class is having a peer edit session, something that if I miss, will deduct half of the points from the essay that I'd be turning in that day. And on top of this hell, the trip is to a place that takes 3 buses to get to from the school (since she doesn't hire transportation for her trips and you have to get to these places on your own, no guests allowed), I'll probably be late for this class as well. - The women who work in the bridal shop by the Lakewood Mall. While walking by it yesterday, my friend decided she wanted to run in and look around at "all the pretty dresses." The moment we get in there, we're mauraded by saleswomen asking questions like, "When's your wedding?" "Which one of you is getting married?" "Are you looking for bride or bride's maids' dresses?" "Prom dresses?" and while just walking around, saleswomen were popping out of every which place trying to push a dress on us. Each time my friend said we were just looking, they'd give us murderously dirty looks. Working on commission, I guess. Shortly after we walked out, my friend said, "We should have just said both of us were getting married, but we were still deciding on who should wear the dress." - People who just feel the need to cut in line just because. All day yesterday there were different deals and specials, so my friend and I were constantly standing in line for something or other and every time there was always someone who came off from the side, who would shuffle in front of us when the opporunity would come. On a later incident, when it finally was just the last straw, we were in line for free burritos at Chipotle, so I just dropped it and didn't want to tarnish the karma of free burritos and drinks. - ASB reps who call the newspaper office at the last minute to complain that no one's covering their event that they just threw together and hadn't informed us of prior to the event. Look, the press might be all-seeing and all-knowing in your eyes, but that's just to throw you off the scent when we scan over your PR person's press releases to see if it's an event worth printing. - The new editor in chief of the magazine. We've only had 3 class meetings so far and she missed the first 2 and the last one was the writers presenting their story ideas. She's supposed to have posted that story assignments by Tuesday night and hasn't even gotten to anything involving the magazine yet, so all of these writers are coming to me since I'm in the office and do most of the talking for the editors, asking why they haven't heard anything about the magazine yet. Although I direct them to Kori, the editor in chief, she's either been telling them to fuck off or come to me. There's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for them to come to me. I'm not in charge of giving out assignments or even dealing with writers. I'm not even an editor this semester, although I was all the other semesters past. Now you've got all of these writers wandering around lost and all of the work of deciding which stories are out there to write is on Kori's shoulders. Hopefully this all sorts itself out by Monday. - Event planners who work for certain breweries who think that $60 is a reasonable price to pay to see a band you've been following for years (and whose shows usually cost only $15 to attend, $10 if you're a friend of the band) because their brewery is in a higher class area. Yeah, I dropped Wildlife Biology partially for the fieldtrip thing, however if you can get a ride with someone in the class it isn't so bad, also she lets you out earlier so you can get to your next class usually. My recent additions: Bottles that appear clean, but are not and ruin your beer because of it. Being expected to drive everyone everywhere without a penny of gas money. Food helps though. Pine snakes that have delusions of venomhood, and think they are rattlesnakes. Stomach that won't shrink when you're trying to cut down on food. Whoever decided that essays were the best thing in the world. DMs that won't tell you when the game is. |

-Cable is way too expensive here ^^; -Well, I can't very well hate everyone, can I? (I wouldn't be able to resist either, lol) -Whenever I download music, I tend to buy it shortly afterward if I like it (Hence, I have all of the Children of Bodom cd's  )
-No matter what I do, I can't seem to get Norton off of my computer completely :/ -Microsoft crashes way too often to be worth it. And come on, $100 for a Windows program?? No thank you. And to add to the list.... -People in Runescape that constantly bother you to fight them in the wildy (yes, I play runescape. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?) -People in Tibia that don't know ANY English or German (especially because the game was first made in Germany... I found a whole whopping 3 people so far that are actually German in that game....) PS -- Fixed my layout. Then I scrapped it and made this one. |
