| You know I have learned a new thing in life. It comes in two words. Shit bags. They are everywhere. Not only are they in civilian life, they are in military life. These shit bags are called something else as well. Buddy fuckers or blue falcons. They reside with in alll of us as well. I can't believe how many times I have fucked over my battle buddy, but you know. I always come back with an apology. Why? Because I'm not a shit bag. I'm not someone to go over and laugh at all the wrong doings I have done. This place is where I don't want to be. Why? Because of all the shit bags here. Then again if you go out into the civilian world there are different types of shit bags. They live in your house, nextto you or they're even reading this right now(A flipping figure of speech, because it's true. I'm a shit bag at times too. Everyone is.).
Now onto Ft. Gordon. Ft. Gordon, is a small fort. It has the highest amount of aids in one single area. This place has people from each branch training here. Mostly army lives here though. This is how it is set up. Marines, Air Force, and Navy; Have the really nice dorms, they all get paid hard ship fees for living there and they have internet access where they live. The Marrines have stolen our building that we had. The building they live in has working everything and they are still paid hardship fees to live there while the army gets screwed in the ass and lives in barracks that are unfit to live in. I literally have to pay to get online, but I can do it for free. muahahahaha. Now you know, it sucks here and I have constantly talked with my mom about going AWOL. She has constantly talked myself out of it. The suicide rates here are so high. I have been stuck on suicide watch before. It's not fun. I wish someone would give me a break. How about you try to watch someone constantly for 24 hours. They have to wear no boot strings or anything. I have never lived somewhere where a drill sergeant made fun of me for being too tall to hang myself inmy room and get hit on by him at the same time. Sometimes I really do hate it here. | That's complete bullshit, I mean, you shouldn't have to deal with "shit bags" all the time. But then again, most everyone is a "shit bag" in some form, even me, your dear sweet kind Xeios, can and will be a "shit bag" to other "Shit Bags."
But that's how shit goes, I mean, you grow up, deal with idiots and "shit Bags" The two most predominant types of people in this country, and sometimes you find someone or something really nice like you, and it's a shame to have to deal with the world that is cruel when you are one of the few nice people around. So, I guess what I'm going to say now is, Take care of yourself, and try hard not to let them get to you. |

| Something else to add.
It really sucks when you're 19 and mature enough to stay quiet while the 21-30 year old beside you is yapping in formation. Is it just me or has the maturity, military bearing, and discipline in the Army disappeared? Someone tell me that we're not stuck in this highschool phase of life when people bring alcohol in the barracks and come in shit faced every weekend. Sometimes this military sickens me. I would rather be permanent party where the real maturity lies. Acting a child on off duty ours is suitable, but not during work. I need to find that article about Ft. Jackson. Where I came from. And I'm not pointing people out here. Everyone here understands the "everyone is a shit bag" theory. Even I myself am one. I have caught myself losing my military bearing waking up every morninig. Why? because people can't turn the fucking lights out at 2100 and turn them on at 0400. We always have them turned on at 0430 when we have only 30 minutes to actually get things done. |

but anyways, i can't imagine why you would complain. it's not as if you didn't expect any of this. it's hard being in the military, let alone being a girl w/ the 1 to 99 ratio. no offense, but the military consists of idiots. there are different types of ppl who join. 1. those who have a relative in the military, and are actually high in rank. AKA those who actually want to be there, and will actually become something in the military. Patriots 2. those who are either poor, or have no REAL friends/loners, or do not have any direction in life (didn't do well in school, but not because they screw around, but arent so smart). 3. those who join because they want to "fight" or are obsessive w/ war. mostly stupid people actually, like "red necks." you know, the real jerks who are promoted simply by their brawn, and not brains. i think most fall under the 2nd, but the real jerks fall under the 3rd. |

But at the same time, while everyone can be a dick, it is good to have a place to rant when they are really getting to you. Hence this thread. |
