I've loved HRG even when he was construed as a bad guy. He's been one of my favorites from the beginning practically.

I recently re-picked up watching some episodes of Kingdom Hospital. And that show made me love HRG even more since the actor appeared on that show and he was just so damned lovable there.

Holy hard-on, indeed.

Yeah, I don't really care for TV any more either. Haven't since the 3rd season of Xena (when I was in middle school). I watched Smallville for the first season and got very bored with it quickly.

Right now, my list of favorite shows that are still putting out new episodes is down to three: Heroes, My Name is Earl, and Mythbusters. Otherwise, TV is on just as background noise.

Getting ready to watch a movie I should have already seen by now ...

Well, I've seen some of it on TV. But it was on the AMC channel. Commercials galore, and horrible sound.

You haven't seen Blade Runner yet?

It's good shit, yo. Gotta love Harrison Ford.

I don't watch much TV myself. Mostly just an old episode of The Simpsons, or The Daily Show, Colbert Report, or South Park. Other shows, I can't fund myself getting into. Heroes, Lost, all that stuff.

Pretty booring. Lately I havent done much cept help people move, lay down Tile for a Church in Manchester, and just sit around surfing the Interbutt...

By the way Hero fans, A friend of mine at Church is burning me files of the first Season of Heros. So hopefully by this week ill be able to see the buzz on the show

TP: It was pretty sweet. An odd story to follow, and kind of felt more artistically focused, but it was still awesome. Ending kind of left me a little empty though. Where the hell are other good Sci-Fi's like that?

It doesn't match up to Aliens or the Terminator movies to me, but it was great old GOOD Sci-Fi (seriously Sci-Fi thesedays just ... sucks?).

Oh, and the music was incredible. Reminded me of Deus Ex.
(one of my all time favorite games)

Club: Just a reminder, I didn't like it for about 6 episodes in or so. I don't know why, I just really didn't like it at first, but eventually it grew on me. So yeah, just be sure to give it a good chance I guess.

If you want good old Sci-fi Xeo, I recommend "The Thing". That is a wicked show.

Ah! That is one I really need to see still. I hear its extremely gory and wicked. :O

Kurt Russel is awesome too, I mean... he's Snake!

Escape from New York was great, but I've heard Escape from LA is terrible. I need to see that too.

A few of my favorite classic Sci-Fi's would be:
- Aliens (the influence in Halo is so extreme its funny)
- Terminator 1/2 (though the kid in 2 is so damn annoying)
- Total Recall
- Robocop

Seriously, The Fifth Element was one of the better "newer" original and engaging Sci-Fi's, but other than that, ugh. I want some out of this world creativity!

My posts are really chunky right now. I should probably go to bed.

One premise:

Surfing on a flood along with some surfer dude in the ruined city of L.A.

And it looks cheesy as fuck.

Yeah...

Its been awhile since I saw the ending to Robocop 1. But I liked the end of Robocop 2 where Murphy beated the crap out of Kane's Brain...the expression of his death on that video looked priceless.

So I officially had some "drinkies" today.

lolz im'm drunke up an posting skljol

No. This isn't one of those worthless posts.

But I did get "tipsy" today ... at work! Turns out some guy had some stuff in his trunk, and they kept egging me on and whatnot. I figured I'd give it a shot, so I had about 2-3 shots of Saki. Yep, Saki. Eventually I started to feel it. Kind of got "relaxed" and my legs seemed wiggly. Then one of my co-workers sat down next to me and said stuff I don't even know, but I heard him say "fanny pack" and I completely lost it. I don't know, it was just a funny word or something.

An hour later I was completely fine. Didn't vomit or anything. Despite my stomach issues, I didn't vomit. Wonder if anything can ever make me vomit? I've only thrown up twice in my life.

Whoopdie doo I guess I'm in the club now.

Saki!

By the way it tasted like a sour, old, weird version of Sparkling Grape Juice. The guy filled up my second cup like half full (why it was probably 3 shots), so I mixed it with Sprite, which made the taste worst. But oh well.

You didn't get sick because you didn't drink past the "tipsy" feeling and stayed awake.

I had an Irish friend in Flordia who would fix me some drinks...

Tip of the day: Never have an irish person fix you a drink.

Not to sound "Cool", but I was extremely drunk to the point to where I was reveiling my secrets to everyone. I went to my apartment that day and acted like a total ass...so yeah, Drinking dosent make you cool. Its fun (at times), but drink responcibly (sp?).

I mean, from time to time my dad would buy me some drinks from the store, and I like the buzz, but I hate being the "Oh hey, Lets ask Dale Questions and he cant lie to us" kind of feeling.

Jake told me im very fun drunk...

You probably didn't get the best saki experience since it wasn't warm. Apparently there are varieties that are to be served cold... but either way, room temperature isn't all that great.

But yes, drinking responsibly is always a good thing... hitting that puking point is not fun in any way, and neither is the hangover. Of course, hangovers can usually be avoided by drinking lots of water before you go to sleep to rehydrate yourself.

And Irish people making your drinks is awesome! However, I prefer to just drink beer.

Surprisingly I never had a hangover. Luckily avoided by Sipping Water...

I always heard that drinking water before bed actually makes it worse. I normally had a big glass of Cold water next to my bed in case I woke up with a hangover...but so far I havent had one.
