(The Forgotten, from here on please refrain from using the term "gay", some people out there can take that offensively)

Meh, I probably just won't ever watch it.

I don't think it'll ruin the show for me, but I just hope it doesn't become the next "DBZ" craze-alike anime out there.

I've heard they've only licensed about 60 episodes or so, but still, I wouldn't doupt it's success, and that'll probably push them to buy out more of the show ...

What's next? Bleach?

I have not been happy with the recent licensing going on:
Naruto, Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Getbackers, Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo, and more.

Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo, will also be on Toonami. Now THAT show is already ruined. It has a ton of Japanese terms in it that make it funny half the time, and translating it over is just going to butcher the show.

I can't say I'm a big fan of anime music videos, then again I'm not a fan of music videos in general.

I have seen a few from Rahxephon, and my friend made his own with The Twelve Kingdoms, they weren't too bad. But I'll probably have to check out that site avatar of law posted.

Just realize it's not all like this.

But I'm assuming you are talking about simple things such as GameMaker, RPG Maker, etc.

There are other programs out there for Design, if you're really interested in Designing and making games, check out Alias.com

Maya is a 3D Animation / Design program that I've been using for the past 3 Quarters in my Game Design class, and it's honestly really nice.

You can build characters from scratch (out of polygons or something else I can't think of ... I don't use it much ) and then you can create their bone structure. Then of course, you need to apply textures and colors to them unless you want a gray character. After that you can move them around and animate them like a real person and do fun stuff.

We also made a small "level" so to say in our "game" that we're making. (I don't think we'll actually ever get to test the levels out, but just to get the feel of what level design is like)

Then we made 10 Medaevil weapons, and now we're making 10 Futuristic weapons; actually called "Stunning Devices" (School policy ...).

So yeah, check that site out. Also 3Dtotal.com is a nice site where people submit there work, some serious stuff there. That's the kind of work I hope to be doing in a few years.

I plan on bringing over some of my school work to home to upload and show you guys here, so until then just look around those sites I guess.

Well people are entitled to their opinions, but The Forgotten, maybe if you backed your post up with "Why" you didn't enjoy FFT ... people wouldn't have flipped out on you.

And yeah, personally it's one of my favorite RPG's, you just have to look at it as a stand alone game and not compare everything about it to other Final Fantasies.

I've heard it's actually very unhealthy to take very long showers like that.

Mine, they usually don't last very long ... maybe 10-20 minutes, hot water doesn't last ...

Yeah, there's quite a bit of Square Games in there

Spoiler:
Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, and probably more

Yeah DarkSlaya, that's why I hated number #2. I was putting the full name in, then without the "A", then just differently all over until I just got mad and put in that simple answer.

Actually, I envy you.

I get a haircut, and 2-3 weeks later, it's back down to my eyes.

And I usually get very very short haircuts, just a regular ceaser cut with 2 on the sides ...

But recently I've actually been just letting my hair sit there, and haven't been putting gel in it or anything. (Yes, I spike my hair somewhat, well did) And I plan on growing it out this summer ... then I'll have a good picture for the photo ablum.

I just need a look that makes me look older.

I do shave often though ... oh yeah ...

Anyways, yeah. Guess I can't help. Sorry.

What games are you currently playing?

Well I won't list every game, since I've been playing like ... 20 lately. (Been going back to old school NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. I just do that everyonce and awhile).

I've been playing:
- Sonic Mega Collection ... again
- Megaman Anniversary Collection ... again
- Deus Ex somewhat here and there for the 7th time.
- Zelda II: Link's Adventure ... I just need to find that stupid 7th Magic Container
- Battletoads somewhat
- Castlevania: SNES, Genesis, and Aria of Sorrow finally even though I've had tons of GBA games sitting on my compuer for months. And boy am I glad I started playing AoS, it really is fun, and like the people have said, it does somewhat remind you of the "Metroid" feel.

That's exactly what I do.

Yeah, I've done a good bit of homework at midnight on somedays.

I guess you could say I'm kind of the opposite.

Having very thick hair (And I truly hate it) I wake up, and it's all chunky, so showering would smooth it out a bit.

... Ok, it's not that bad (Chunky just makes it sound horrible) but, it just sticks up and it's all staticy and junk ...

I've always been a first-person shooter fan from way back in the days of the original Wolfenstein, Doom, and other such DOS driven games.

Well I played Doom when I was 5 years old (Yes 5, and am I blowing up schools with guns? No ... ), but I think Goldeneye started the FPS craze for me.

Maybe if my parents had let me actually play Doom (I had to play it at my neighbors house all the time) I would be an even bigger FPS fan than I am. But yeah, I love the old stuff, Doom, Doom 2, Duke Nukem 3D, etc.

But Goldeneye and Half-Life probably got me really hooked on the Genre.

Posted on 03-17-05 07:58 PM, in Suikoden for those who have played Link
Suikoden II is easily my favorite RPG, period. Better than Breath of Fire IV, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, you name it.

It's easily the most emotional game I have ever played. You will LOVE, and HATE the characters. The character development is uprecedented. Honestly throughout several parts of the game I felt like tearing. This game is REAListic. You're not off to save the planet from disaster, you're set off to start a Republic agains't an Empire, and when you can actually gather 108 characters, you really are building an army, and this game makes you feel like you're actually accomplishing something, unlike many other RPG's that are just like "Well I leveled up, cool I'm stronger".

Mainly for awhile now, as some of you may have guessed (Or just you Bishop-Luc ... hopefully not just you though) most of my recent avatars have been from Suikoden II.

My current one is Seed, a Captain from the Highland Army. (They were called that right?)

But yeah, the original was also very good I thought, it was just a little too short and the storyline wasn't as strong as II's, but it's still worth the buy.

Very amazing RPG series, It's a shame they're so overlooked though.

The Politician, you better beat Megaman 2 and 3, those are the best!

And also, do play Final Fantasy II, it's actually really good, unlike what the general group of gamers out there say.

I did actually rent Xenosaga II 2 weeks ago, got about 15 hours into the game. It honestly is probably very short, considering I made it to the 2nd disc in 10 hours, but it was still a pretty good game storyline wise. The battle system still seemed lacking, but the character development, setting, and story kept me playing it.

But yeah, kind of like Sparda I'd LIKE to be playing:
- Devil May Cry 3
- Tekken 5
- Resident Evil 4
- Area 51
- More Xenosaga II
- Metal Gear Solid III

Sparda: You shouldn't have a problem finding Onimusha 3, I bought it shortly after Christmas brand new for $15 at Best Buy ... but honestly, I wasn't too impressed, it didn't seem nearly as good as 1 and 2, but it was still a decent game I guess for $15.
