| OOC: Well, aside from the scars on the face we look nothing alike I think. Perhaps in build, that is all.
BIC: *Mina glanced over at a girl stomping out a cigarette, her sudden change in demenor calling her to attention. She followed her gaze to a lone boy across the room, noting the apparent connection between the two. Looking around the room she assessed her "companions". All seemed younger than her, though it looked like the older three had training. The one in the hat had the posture and demenor of someone with good aim, but not the strength of a combat fighter. The French girl named Evo was lithe and seemed dexterous, the way she carried herself made if obvious she was of Professional level, as was the male pacing the room. He seemed more on her level though, judging by his gait and muscle structure. Those three, particularly Evo and the one pacing the room, were ones to be wary of. The young girl and the confused looking boy did not seem very threatening at all... but looks could be decieving* "Does anyone know how we got here?" |

| *Jade brought down Dark Soul to block the swing twisting her wrists to the right to invert the blade, his speed not even phasing the warrioress. The grip on the hilt was firm and unrelenting, like that of one well accustomed to battle. The ring of metal echos through the arena as sparks fly from the blades, showing that whatever Dark Soul was forged from was apparently not obsidian. The greatsword did not break, nor did the act of blocking the attack force the sword upwards, revealing that Jade was apparently much stronger than she appeared.
The flames however, were a different story. While it did not seer the skin from her body, she did feel her skin blister from the heat and grimaced as her eyes widened in surprise. As she did so a flare of crackling negative energy burst from her body, surrounding her in a cocoon of sorts that seemed to absorb the flames. There was still smoke and the smell of burnt flesh rising from her skin though* "What magic is this? Flames don't hurt me, but this burns... or it did." *Seeing that this was a battle to be taken seriously, Jade locked eyes with Shuyin as she quicky initiated her attack. With a speed as fast as he had shown earlier, Jade swung Dark Soul in an upwards slash at Shuyin's torso, hoping the close range would be to her advantage* Enervation Shield- Recently Jade has been able to use the negative energy to form what is called an enervation shield, which forms a wall in front of or cocoon around her that absorbs the energy attack of another so that she is not harmed. If the attack is magical there is a 1 in 50 chance that she absorbs enough energy to learn how the attack is formed, so she can try to duplicate it. This has only happened once. |

| *Using the upswing momentum of her own attack, Jade sprang upwards into a backwards flip, her feet just clearing the blade aimed at her knees. As she moved downwards, head first and twisting and curving her body to avoid his second slash which would have hit her legs instead of her torso, she took Dark Soul in one hand and strechted out the other to push herself into the air again, springboarding and pivoting herself just out of the reach of the blade, though it came dangerously close to the membrane of her wings. She came to land on her feet facing him and quicky brought up her free hand, index finger pointed at him*
"A little too much zest for your own good, let's see you handle this!" *A bolt of crackling black energy, much like that of the shield around her body, errupts from her hand and streaks towards Shuyin, moving just like a bolt of lightning, and just as fast* Enervation- A jet of crackling black negative energy shoots from Jade's fingers, draining 10% of the strength from her opponent and giving it to Jade. Jade can also infuse this energy into her sword to deliver the same attack when she hits an opponent with her weapon. |

*Morrighan's mind suddenly unblurred as the one crystal clear image of her past at the Government facility came to mind. *The labor had been agonizing, and she felt like she was going to die; but it was over and she now held her baby son in her arms. He was so tiny, and he had cried like a banshee when he'd been born, but he'd gone quiet once the nurse had placed him in her arms.* "Hello, Dalit. You like momma holding you? Such a sweetie!" *That was when the door opened and Urashi had walked in. She'd seen him watching from outside the delivery room, again with a strange look on his face... but it was that usual cold look that gazed at her now.* "Ah, I see you survived the labor, Number 7193. Congratulations.... I will be taking my son now." *Morrighan stated at him in shock. He was older than her, and though they were even in strength, she was weak from giving birth... she was only 17 after all. Her arms tightened protectively around Dalit* "Over my dead body, Urashi! I'm not going to let you run experiments on my son!" *Urashi sighed, his face a mask* "I had a feeling you'd say that... you're too valuable to kill, and you know it. However..." *Urashi brought his fist down on the back of her head, sending her world reeling into blackness as she felt Dalit ripped from her arms. She heard him start crying again as she reached out in that direction to find nothing as she fell unconcious, his words echoing in his mind* "...I always get what I want, deal with it Morrighan." *She felt the tears whelling up in her eyes as she remembered that day. It was the last time she had seen Dalit until that day at the Ullric Compound, but there was no mistaking her son... Urashi's son* |
