| I use the site that avatar listed and I've gotten some really kick ass stuff there. One of my favorites is a Hokuto no Ken AMV to Sonne by Rammstein, really cool video... or Fiction by Orgy to Serial Experiments Lain.
I just wish that I could find a good Dream Theater AMV. |

| It depends on the subject for me. If it is one that I am really good at, like basic biology (anything to do with the cell or genetics in particular), then the most I do is look over my notes right before the test for obscure information. I didnt even study for my last social biology test and I got an A, so yeah.
However, if it is a harder subject like math or psychology, then I will study. I usually don't study until the day before though, which in a way is bad for me. I always wanted to try Raven's system, but I never quite had the time thanks to the slave-driver parents and my own habit of being easily distracted *sees something shiny and runs off... okay I'm back* But yeah, I also do a bit of last minute review right before the test, mainly just the terms or concepts that I know I will have trouble with, so that it will be fresh in my memory. I think I may have to adopt Raven's system for my wildlife biology class though, since my current system doesn't work too well for the amount of info that we have on those tests. I will say this though, tests in high school are much easier for the most part. |

| To be honest, I do not like sushi at all. I have no problem with the fish, it's the rice and the seaweed that bothers me... more the rice than anything, I abhor white rice. | You gotta finish book 5, even if the secret was spoiled for you about the ending your friend could not have given you all the details.
All I know is that I need to re-read book 5 before 6 comes out this July. It took me two days last time to read it, and I know it will take me longer this time due to class work, but yeah... bets on how long it takes me to read HBP? |

| Yeah, I found out that one and the porphiria (I know that is spelled wrong dammit) when I was doing a research project on Vampires a while back. Facinating really... I ended up giving a lecture to my 10th grade history class on Vlad, since his name came up during our discussion of the Ottoman Empire.
Oh yeah, speaking of him: - Vlad Dracula was also known as Vlad Tempes or Vlad the Impaler. His father was Vlad Dracul. - Dracula, in the Romanian tongue of that time, had two meanings: "Son of the Dragon" or "Son of the Devil". - Vlad Dracul got the name Dracul for belonging to (I forget exact name) the Order of the Dragon, which was a group of nobles pledged to fight the Turks that were trying to invade. |

| I gotta second Deesee on this one. Where the hell did you get the idea that you have to share a shower? You have a private bathroom like you do in a house in a dorm, you just usually have a roommate who sleeps in a separate bed. If you don't want to deal with that you could try and get a private room, but yeah.
I really just see it as they want you to try it out because then all the teachers are used to teaching deaf students so they are better able to educate. It would not kill you to at least give it a shot, since it is only for one week (look at it as getting away from your brother). Besides, as Bishop-Luc said, it's a chance to see New York. Are they paying for the trip? That is the big question. |
