I always want to try yoga... but the one self defense class that I took that used some stuff from it kicked my ass so bad that I am afraid to try it. When you have the ability to hurt yourself breathing, doing all those stretches seems like a death wish.

So... Beyond the Wall... I think that was the most "omg omg omg omg" episode they have had in awhile... more than the Battle of the Bastards. It was just... so very intense.

I've been breaking out in rashes for the last few weeks... no idea what I am reacting to, but it is annoying. Season change is happening, so the normal allergies are acting up as well. Lovely!

I hope it is next episode... I mean, it's the first opening for it that they have had in awhile... and it so needs to happen for the Hound to really complete his redemption arc, I think... he needs to face the last real demon of his past. |

And yeah, an AMF kinda makes you forget everything else. They taste good, though. I've gotten the worst hangovers since the day I turned 21, so I know the pain. Usually if I drink a fair bit, I try to force down at least one 8oz glass of water and two Motrin before I turn in... does wonders for the headache and helps the squidgy stomach. (restricted) |

Well, usually my friend hosts a party but she will be out of town this year so I have no idea what I will be doing. I somehow figure that I am going to end up working. At some point during the month though, I would like to go to the local amusement park for their Halloween mazes... it's no where near as good as the stuff in California, but it is fun. |

Hmm... a somewhat difficult question with a few answers that easily come to mind.

Lord of the Rings: I read the entire trilogy in two months, maybe a bit less (it's been awhile)... just the fact that I did it that quickly was very satisfying. Plus... you know... it is Lord of the Rings. A Memory of Light: The last book in the enormous Wheel of Time series. I have many friends who were also reading, but most of them never finished it. I found it satisfying both because the series itself was complete despite Robert Jordan dying, and because I managed to finish them all (he REALLY liked to go into page upon page of scene description and details, so a lot of people got bored. I'm not kidding... three or so pages of the start of each book described the movement of wind across the land to kind of set the stage for what had changed. Last Flight: The most recent novels in the Dragon Age book series. It was very satisfying because it was the least tied to games and at the same time when into major events of the world's history. The first two books were very much prequels to Dragon Age: Origins, the second two delved into the background information that is important to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Last Flight takes place during the events of Inquisition, but has nothing to do with them... it deals with the events of the Fourth Blight hundreds of years ago and the fate of the gryphons. The delving into the history, and the revealing of many secrets... especially the ending... it does potentially set up background for the next game... but it was very, very satisfying.
