| Would you guys judge me if I told you I still use ZSNES? Not because of any particular affinity toward it (Although it was my original emulator, so there's some nostalgia) but because it's portable and I haven't had to install it in nearly ten years? It's just been sitting in my data hard drive and backups, so it's always there, like a faithful hound. | |||

| Vizzed... Heh, what a crazy place. I actually somehow never hear of it until 2011 or so, and even then because I was looking for some info on a glitch that had me stuck in Sonic Generations of all things. I was flabbergasted that there were still forums that people went to--the last one I knew of died around 2007 or so. I fell so hard for that place but the dazzling veneer of post quickly wore away and it showed its true form (crap) | |||

| What have you done in 2016 that you have never done before?
I got a job that I actually really like, and want to go to every day! Did you keep your new years resolution from this year, and will you make one for next year? Didn't make one, don't plan on making one for this year. Did anyone close to you give birth? My sister did, although "close" might be saying a bit much. Did anyone close to you die? Not this year. Did anyone close to you get married? Haha, no. My friends are too smart for that. Did anyone close to you get divorced? See above. Where did you travel to in 2016? I visited my parents in October. That was... an experience. I haven't seen them since 2013 I think? My second daughter was born in 2015 so we thought it was time to go. What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016? Money. What dates from 2016 will you have etched in your memory, and why? Oh jeez I don't think I'll specifically remember any single thing from this year. Except Harambe, of course. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Oh see number one! Great job in a great industry. What was your biggest failure? Oh man... I fail a lot but I don't think anything is big. I guess I, once again, failed to take care of my body? Did you suffer injury or illness? Nope! Fit as a fiddle! (Albeit a lethargic fiddle with a dad-bod) What was the best thing you bought? Hrm... I don't think I made any major purchases this year. Should have done this last year, I'd have a lot of much more interesting stuff, especially for this category! Oh wait, I got a brand new washer and dryer set! My clothes have never been cleaner! Whose behavior merited celebration? A close friend of mine has been stuck in crappy minimum wage jobs since he got out of high school, but starting in 2014 he really turned his life around. He's done very well for himself and is on track to having a nice life. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Ooh... Let's not go there just yet. Where did most of your money go? Food. Food and daycare. Two kids drain money like no other. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Finding Xeogaming, of course! What song will always remind you of 2016? Haha, in a few weeks I won't even think of 2016 ever again. Compared to this time last year, you are: a) Happier or Sadder? This time last year? Sadder, but don't read too much into it, over all 2016 was better for me. b) Thinner or Fatter? Fatter. c) Richer or Poorer? Probably about the same... What do you wish you would have done more of? Everything. I have so many things I want to do but just no time to do them in. What do you wish you would have done less of? Watching TV How did you spend New Year's Eve? (December 31, 2015) Oh I think I got blasted downtown. How did you spend New Year's Day? (January 1) Is this about 2016 or 2017? Either way, I just stayed at home and played with my children. How did you spend Valentine's Day? (February 14) A nice dinner, nothing fancy, and some stuff that may be uncouth to talk about. 
How did you spend St. Patrick's Day? (March 17) Working, i'm sure. How did you spend Easter? (March 27) Easter was cold this year, we just painted eggs. How did you spend Cinco de Mayo? (May 5) Finished watching Star Wars. How did you spend the 4th of July? Lit fireworks at my father-in-laws. How did you spend Patriot Day? (September 11) That was a Sunday... So I probably spent it resenting my wife for not getting the day off. How did you spend Talk Like a Pirate Day? (September 19)? I think I forgot about it... How did you spend Halloween? (October 31) Heh, lots of face paint. It was fun putting it on but it took longer to get it all off. Never doing a full job again! Anyway, went trick-or-treating with the little ones, then drank heavily. Okay, it sounds like I do this a lot but I swear it's only two or three times a year! How did you spend Thanksgiving? (November 24) With my wife's cousin. It was nice. How did you spend Christmas? (December 25) Oh god Christmas was awful. We hosted and everybody had something to say about it. I don't think that will ever happen again. Did you fall in love in 2016? Nope. What was your favorite TV show? Well I think I was still on Ash vs Evil Dead at the beginning of the year. Or maybe I should just say Steven Universe since I missed AvED's season 2. What was your least favorite show of 2016? idk Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate is a waste of energy. I try to stay positive. What was the best book you read? Heh... This clearly wasn't designed for parents. What was your greatest musical discovery? Not really a "discovery" but for some reason I got really into Pearl Jam this year. What did you want and get? I got a really great job! What did you want and not get? A saxophone. What was your favorite film of this year? Hrm.... Saying Captain America seems a bit trite but let's face it, it was damn good! What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Spent a good while with the family, and started a brand new D&D group. We still meet most weeks! What is one thing that would have made your year more satisfying? Paying off my student loans. How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2016? It was kind of late in the year (in fact, I'd consider this more of a 2017 because I just got them in December), but boots. I got a pair of boots that I love and I'm not taking them off. I just got so damn tired of not being able to find a decent leather plain-toe oxford shoe for under $150, so I bought some leather plain-toe boots instead and they're great. What kept you sane? My mantra What celebrity/Public figure did you fancy the most? Hrm... I feel like I was really digging on someone this year but i can't remember who. What political issue stirred you the most? Well, the Cincinnati Zoo asked people to stop using Harambe in their memes, and out of respect for them I had to oblige, but man... Oh man. What news story was the most overblown? Email. Who do you miss? I live very far away from all of my family, so them. Did you reconnect with anyone? Not this year. Tell us a life lesson you learned in 2016. You can check your car's radiator as much as you want, but in the end, it can still fail out of nowhere. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. | Do you have a humidifier in your room? Chapped lips lead to infections, and I often dry out my lips this time of year. If you find yourself breathing through your mouth while you sleep (sinus infection?) Try to sleep in such a way that you more naturally go to your nose. Good luck. | |||
