It was illegal for Alden to even be there, a convict and his attonrey were allowed fully private conversations. To intrude was illegal, and if Alden stayed anyway, this whole thing could be declared a mistrial.

I'd just first like to say that in my experience with dogs(my family bred them for several years), the alpha male was usually strong and confident, but still quite often a nice dog. Assertive, and definitely in control, but kind to even the least of the dogs.

The middle class dogs were often the ones who got competitive. They fought, they were aggressive, and were generally not very pleasant to each other.

Then there was the lowest dog. In a wolf pack I believe that it's often called the omega wolf. This dog is timid, not aggressive, and rarely physically strong. They would often be treated badly by any but the pack leader, and generally didn't live too happy of a life. They are, however, also very sweet and gentle dogs, an ideal pet for most people.

Take from that what you will, but I think that humans are pretty similar.

Now, on a different note, I admit, I'm usually a nice guy, but I'm not exactly at the bottom of the pack. The key is, be nice, but be confident and assertive. A few years ago, I shocked a bunch of people by pushing someone up against a wall and shouting at him, because he had stolen a friend's water, and that friend had to leave for an overnight camping trip immediately. That's definitely not usually a nice guy trait.

However, despite that, I've almost never turned down a request for help. Whenever someone needs something, I'll act, and I'll get it done.

That sort of attitude has been very helpful for me. While I'm not exactly a super hero as far as girls go, I do pretty decently. I know of a few girls who wouldn't mind having me as more than a friend, and most people I know generally think well of me.

In other words, the only way to actually be successful with girls, in my opinion, is to be nice, as nice as possible, but also confident and assertive. Treat them well, but be stubborn enough to show that you're unique.

You know, I imagine that after their family member just died, the stress to get extra money is the least of their concerns.

I'm not saying they shouldn't it would be great for the school if they did, but I'd be surprised if they did sue immediately.

I think I should also note that this isn't Noah switching sides. He's always fought against superhumans, he just left the company earlier to protect his daughter, who he believes is an exception to the super powered rule.

Mostly, they're just going after people powerful enough to be dangerous, which is what Noah has always done. He's just switched employers.

I will say though, if they travel to find yet another apocalyptic future...I might give up on the show. It does look like it's going in another direction though.

Seriously, there is a lot in it that I like. Sylar is awesome, of course, and the storyline is starting to get interesting.

The problems are mostly just because I didn't really like volume 3 after the eclipse episodes. It honestly nearly ruined the characters for me. I admit that it could get a lot better, and that's why I'm watching it still, but it just hasn't reached the level of awesomeness I'd like from it yet.

I do expect it'll do that before the end of the season though, thanks to an old writer returning.

Well, vampire stories have always said that that's how you become a vampire, through a blood transfer. :-P

That said though, I think that the plot(not the cheesiness) of this movie actually sounds airly interesting. Two friends join opposite side of a war and are forced to fight aganst each other, In the right hands, that sounds like it could be interesting. In the wrong hands, and, well, that looks like what we have here.

So, as some of you know, I was a big fan of the anime that this was based on, so I'm excited about this. I am a bit irritated that they decided to make her only a half vampire, though, rather than one of the only two living real ones.

Still, if they pull it off right, it might work.
