| A woman is in a persistent vegetative state. She has been for 15 years, and will not recover.
There have been rumors that her husband beat her, and that is the reason for her problem. This has been investigated, and there is no evidence. Some say she can smile when she sees her parents, and she can follow motion. Others say that she's always smiling, and that most of the time she didn't trace the movement with her eyes. Now, the question is, should she be allowed to die? Think about it, what would you want them to do if you were in her position, Would you want to die? I first thought we should let her die. I only heard one side of the story. But today, after seeing her reactions, I am undecided. What do all of you think? |

| ooc: Sorry spartan, a few problems with your post. I'm at blue base, The gernades if you did throw them couldn't have stuck at that range, and in Halo 2, you start with two fragmetion gernades sowhere did you get four plasma?
Lastly, four plasma can't take out a tank unless each his the cockpit, and that would only be 100 health. I have 200. It might have worked for a ghost, but not this. ic, assuming they actually hit the cockpit: Vulkar's sheilds went down halfway, and he fired at Spartan, who just so happens to not have the rockets because he never killed Vulkar. The one-hit kill should have dealt with spartan very nicely. He went over to the other base, and since he was still in that tank, one would not spawn at the blue base. He destroyed the scepter, and fired at Jobes, again. |

| She's not stopping someone else from getting a hospital bed. There are many free.
Now, about her wanting to die in this case, let's review a few facts: The husband is living with someone else, with children, and he doesn't have the decency to divorce Terri even though he's with another woman. Why is this? Because he got 1,000,000 dollars for her death. If he divorced her, he never would have gotten that. After he has his million, he suddenly(After 15 years) remembers that she would have wanted to die in this situation! And how does he want he to die? In the way that costs almost no money. Just let her starve is what he wants so that he can spend his money! ______________________________ Now, I don't know about all of you, but I believe she could mostly recover. There was even talk of getting her to walk, but the husband forbids tests to see if they can. There is a way for her to do many other things, but the husband refuses to let her! In my opinion, she should live until it is 100% certain that she couldn't recover. |

| No offense, but this is a bit of an overreaction.
Go tothem, and say that since they don't want you to do something like that a lot, then don't. Say that on school days, most of the time you can be at home, with only two hours of computer time, one hour with your friends, and devide the remaining time between being with them, and being outside. It's a well balanced schedual, and it would follow what they want you to to, which from the sound of it is a mixture of things. |

The parents actually feed her liquids, and it is possible to teach her to eat. All the husband says is "No, she might choke." When she's going to die anyway. |
