He pulled up his sword, pointing it straight up in a neutral stance. He leaned forward slightly, so that he could use the momentum of his body and the massive amount in his sword in a single strike. "Are you ready Cairoi?" he asked. ooc: Gah, I promise my posts will be somewhat longer when the actual battle starts. I hate my short posts.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Alex strengthened his shield more, and kept out of range. Perhaps he could irritate this guy who seems to like smiley faces.

Using telekenesis, he concentrated on the dirt that Echelon was drawing circles in, and sent it flying towards Echelon, ruining the circle, and hopefully covering him in a cloud of dirt. It would move at extreme speeds to stay surrounding him, though it only stayed like that for half a second, if it can at all. If the dirt surrounds him, then it will suddenly compress, sinking into his skin, clogging up feins, get into organs, all that nice and cheerful stuff. If it encounters armor then it will go around into one of the cracks, if it encounters, cloth, it will tear through it. "Smiling is unneeded, let us battle."

Jaques looked at his ally, and thought. It was absolutely no problem for him to prevent the sonic boom, as one of his ealiest spells was the control of air.

So, directly in the air's path, he concentrated, and made a gap with no air all around its path, creating an inpenterable vacuum. This would alos stop the sonics, as sound does not carry over a vacuum. Just as the wind was stopped, he moved into action, charging towards Echelon, and getting to the other side of him from Cairoi. He then tried to swing his sword at this creature's wing, near the middle of this bird's body. If it does not hit the wing, then it will continue on towrds where the torso should be, and if it misses that as well, then Jaques will angle it around in a circle, allowing the same momentum, and attempt to stike where the opponent is now. This sword is extremely sharp, and in the hands of one of the strongest men in existance. It is sharp enough that it can go through an adamantium block without noticeably losing any momentum. This sword is dangerous for any but the strongest to weild, for only brute strength from the handle can stop it. Also, Jaques swung hard. If it is directly blocked in the way of its momentum, then it will crush the object it hits, up to the strength of mithril, which it can bend. "Careful bird, you might begin molting."

ic: Alex smiled. His opponents wits were indeed not back. Alex also rushed forward, and just when they were about to be on each other, he jumped. Flipping around, he pulled up his sword, and attempted to slash at Echelon's back. But this was only the most minor of his attacks. He stood down onto the ground. His charged attack was finished, and it was time to take this guy out. First, he strengthened his shielding, and a helmet was visible over his head. This would protect him from the physical attack. He had actually charged the shield at the same time as he charged one of the attacks. Second, he used telekenesis. In theory, if one has enough of a level of concentration, and enough ability with telekenesis, one can achieve a level of focus, where you can influence atoms themselves. At this point, ripping apart and atom is an easy matter, the focus being the only hard part. If an atom is split apart, then it would have the same effect as a nuclear bomb, radiation, a huge explosion, and many other things. Echelon and Alex were both at ground zero of this explosion, and nothing could move fast enough as to aboid this explosion. Echelon, who had not begun charging a shield as is required to shield from a charged attack, shopuld be dead before he even knew that there was an explosion. It woul;d require nothing short of a miracle to survive. Next, there was a far more focused and fatal attack. Alex had also discovered a unique spot in the mind of a human. Only himself and a few others actually knew of it, and as such it was usually left unprotected from the human mind. Reaching this point, Alex attempted to delete Echelon's mind. It would leave nothing but a souless body, a dead shell without mind. The process was quick, and with luck, Echelon would have no idea Alex even attack his mind. Also, it would be extremely difficult to block or dodge, as there was the mild distraction of a nuclear bomb threatening to rip him apart. Concentrating on the mind would be the last thing anyone would think about when faced with such a threat. "I love explosives, don't you?"

Jaques Held his blade at a ready, and allowed Seticus' shard to attack. However, as it did so, he charged forward swung his blade at Seticus' own chest, muttering a spell to make the weapon unstoppable by enchantments.

Jaques' sword should hit Seticus at the same time as Seticus hits him. Fortunatley, as Seticus' weapon will only harm skin, then Jaques should be able to escape with little more than a scartch, whereas Seticus would be cut in two by Jaques' weapon. The only way to stop would be to pull out another weapon, or to stop the attack to block. Jaques would break any other type of weapon in his way. JAque also began concentrating on charging a spell, something to completely destroy these two fools. (Last edited by Vulkar on 10-30-06 11:00 PM)

"Oh, what fools these men are." Jaques said. For both the defense and the attack were provided in a single moment. A shield, and an attack from which to shield against.

The second ther spikes appeared, Jaques jumped, as there was no shield on the top, hovering for a brief moment until there were no more. Then he landed on them, skillfully maneuvering his body into a position that they would protect him from the blast. Also, just in case, he used his earth elemental abilities to makle sure that no more spikes would grow. He was not as powerful as Cairoi, but he would definitally be able to slow anything down before he got out. If Echelon tries to make the spikes grow again, Jaques will leave the earthen mound, and move in a way to keep it between him and the blast. Fortunately, he was fireproof, being a dragon, so any heat or explosions shouldn't damage him in the least. As far the shard, and its damage, Jaques had taken it in a place where there is relatively light armor, allowing skin damage only. As soon as he received it, the skin already began closing up. The damage was still there, but it wouldn't hinder him in combat. also, his dragonlike abilities allowed a much stronger immune system, meaning any poisons, magical or not, will quickly die, depending on their potency. As soon as the shockwave ends, Jaques will come out, and jump out once again. He should land near Seticus, with his sword held in a defensive stance. "How about something that is...difficult?" Abomination quickly jumped, avoiding the first shot. He then pulled up his rock, and held it in the way of the beam.

The rock turned shiny due to the heat, but ddid not shatter. It was still there, and still powerful. Angrily, Abomination grabbed it on two ends, careful not to touch the supheated metal, and split it in half. He threw on half at where Iron Man was now, and would throw the second a fraction of a second later, throwing them both fast enough that both couldn't be destroyed quickly enough without the other hitting him. However, if Ironman decided to try to dodge then Blonsky will instead throw the second rock in the direction he was going. Also, Abomination flammed his arms into the ground again, damages the rock surface below him, but not offering much more effect. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
