| Chapter 1: The Fog
An smooth breeze came over the land as darkness began to fall and a fog set in...the last of the sun's rays were steadily falling, leaving a gloomy orange light lingering in the sky. Houses' lamps were lit, and there wasn't a person in sight in the streets. An eerie feeling of a ghost town settled in. It has been like this for years. Only a few feet off, some men were heard whispering to themselves. The whispers making the scenraio even more horrific. The wind breezing by sounding like souls of the late, and sky turning a navy blue now, with clouds forming into demons it seemed. Playing tricks on the mind. "Yes, I've heard of this tale too." Whispered the first. "When darkness falls, is when the souls of our dearly beloved rise to haunt this town. 'Tis why we are cursed. The souls move through means of a fog I've heard." With this, the second man jumped. Angered, the first man sat him down immediately. "Fool, stop jittering, 'tis only fools tale. But the deaths are accumalating." A worried face replaced the angered one now. A third man, beneath a cloak, as everyone else, raised his hand to speak. "Perhaps we sould inquire for a Preist. To bless this town?" 1 Man: "Yes, Maybe, Alright, we will try...I just pray that we will be s..." In the distance a glass crashed that broke the eerie silence surrounding them. The three men jumped with their heart racing. Each grabbed a pitchfork moving closer to the source of the crash. Nothing. The hearts still racing, beating now in their chests as if it were to burst............ MEEEEEEEEEEEOW!!!!!!! The men fell back as a cat appeared and jumped from a small barrel looking at the men in a weird taste, then, it strolled away and disappeared. "This is too dangerous...we must leave at once." But I shall tell you one thing." *The old man for the first time looked at Xeios now, more seriously than anyother person.* "Your blade, as strong as it is, has one downfault. You have all the energy of the Dragon of whom you are to have a strong connection with. Dragons are not just for display whenever you transform into a Dragoon, they assist in replenishing energy, protecting thir master, and so much more. You have abandoned these duties as a Dragoon, and now, though your Dragon was one of the most powerful next to the Divine Dragon, will never reach it's full scaled power." *The old man before taking his last breath, looked at Kain and smiled.* "It seems as if you do not hear, Is this not the Dark Chaos trinket I hold in my hand for you? You children have a lot to learn." *The old man gagged and began choking, his words weakening to a slight squeek as life was being drained from him, by his own will.* "Ballain, remember my words, you are the master of your own destiny, whichever side you choose, the Dragon will stay beside you." | *Demitellian struggled to his feet drenched in blood and in a torched cloak that strongly resembled now a beggar's rags.*
"Y...yes, I...it is no...not over." *He forced a grin at Xeios, for he knew how much Xeios loved competition.* "And now, observe, you should be ecstatic Xeios, no one before you has ever been able to unleash ONE of my Elite Stages." *Demitellian's eyes rolled back as a furious wind began to blow, and lightning and great hailstorms fell and destroyed what was left of the cathedral with ease. Demitellian let out a horrible scream, along with it, a glorious silver garment covered him. His face turning more and more older, as crimson red set in his pupils. His sword transforming as well, into a staff now that surged with so much power, the very ground around Demi began to crack, and create a huge crater from the energy exerted. Demi had now achieved his first transformation in elite status, Obedian's Essence. With an almost inhumanly deep voice, Obedian spoke to Xeios.* "I thank you great Xeios, for releasing this side of me, as you can see, my inferiors have lots to learn, and I have been sleeping for far to long." *Obedian swung his finger and a boulder from far off burst into grains of sand.* "You see, before it would have just disapparated. But I know you too have powers hidden great Xeios. Show me. Let us start anew." *Obedian stood perfectly still with his cloak swaying in front of him and the long staff, Tsui-Ka gripped in his hands.* |

No use trying to fight it, you're an eight-sided die, a d8. A fine example of simple elegance, the d8 is one of the least appreciated types of dice, and is often neglected. You are known to be quiet and shy, outward traits that conceal viscous sarcasm and mean wit. You are very smart, yet wise enough to hide your intelligence the quicker they found out how smart you are, the sooner they'll put you to work, which is something you can do without. *Demitellian swayed his cloak in front of him in time to block the attack, his cloak's special ability was able to block any and all physical attacks. | *Johnson seeing Xeios vanish, did not know what to think of it, but knew that Xeios must have some sort of information from his past life to give him. He looked at the other dragoons, and realized they would probably be too hot tempered to follow, besides, this was he responsibility.*

Xeios, you can't get away from me like that...we finish this now..." *Johnson leaped high into the air while Zia bent its head low catching him in the crease of it's axis. The great dragon stretched it's wings and flew into the air with great speed effortlessly. Johnson was able to follow Xeios by the signals his Dragoon Crystal. Soon, his crystal began glowing and vibrating, he spied a small island far of into the sea. He headed there immediately. The dragon landed and dropped it's master easily on the beach's sand.* "You must tell me what you know Xeios...." *Although he was told everything from the old man, he still wanted to know if Xeios had any past recollections of their history, he need confirmation of why he felt as if he knew Ballain all his life, though this was only the third time meeting him. This must be Jabez Tyu Shin's emotions, he thought. He hurried up to the top as the Dragon, Zia flew to the top from the outside to catch up with his master. The Kumi-Sa glowing with the essense of the Dragon Buster in hand, he rushed to find Xeios.* |

*Jabez rushed at Xeios with Dragon Buster glowing brightly in hand as he was just about to lay a blow towards Xeios abdomen. He heard a loud roar in his mind that startled him...he stopped in front of Xeios and looked around, thinking the voice was near...When he spied the Thunder Dragon, bowing before a tall ivory sculpted altar...he knew what it was...* Divine Dragon: "I cannot explain to you why, but you must not attack your broth..." "HE IS NOT MY BROTHER!!!...HE IS A TRAITOR...AND FOR THAT HE MUST DIE!!!" *With all his might, Jabez slashed the Dragon Buster towards Xeios' neck, when suddenly he stopped, he could not move...he was lifting into the air slowly and was paralyzed while doing so...* "No....NO!...HE CAN'T ESCAPE!!!" Divine Dragon: "Hurry Xeios, remember what I have told you. Jabez, you must stay here with me, no matter what you may think, he IS your brother, and the prophecy must be fulfilled, the TWO of you must end this war...I shall train you here and give you enough power to take on the evil Habanuki..." | *Obedian smiled as well, If only Xeios knew, Obedian, even in his weak stage could not be affected by any elements within his jurisdiction (see profile), Obedian simply cloaked himself and the lava easily rolled off, as long as it had fire properties, Obedian was unaffected whatsoever, but Xeios did exactly what Obedian wanted. His weapon had flew into the air, covered in pure dark energy and stretching above Xeios' body. pummeling straight towards him, as it did, The staff branched out into many other minature blades, all with the same poison...entrapping Xeios except for the bottom that was open, in which he performed Royal Banquet, this move allowed you to move at the speed of the attack itself once it was made, Obedian moved at the speed of a gigantic boulder he threw in the air, to fit perfectly into the spot the branches left open, when it sealed the hole, it continued...considering Xeios' quick speed in jumping, and the speed the branches and staff have coming down, avoiding would take a miracle.* (Last edited by Dark Silhouette on 03-11-05 01:11 PM) |

"Observe my moves more Jexim..." *Demitellian signaled for the veins to explode as he flew back and watched as Jexim was hit be the blast, which would cause a devastating damage on the opponent....(the attack was attached to you, so this is not an auto-hit.)* |

*Demitellian leaped in the air, as the black veins that failed to touch Jexim still lingered, he commanded them to explode, the would not only neutralize the attack, but also damage anyone near it's radius. Demitellian summoned his Wind Blade Mimic and slashed the ground from his height, aiming the tip of the blade to Jexim's chest.* |

| *The sword transformed into chains that held the katana in place before it hit Demi...with hand still on handle...Demi split the wind blade and the half was holding the katana, while another half made a destructive slash at Jexim's oranje film, slicing it with enough space open to summon a thunder aura to blast inside the small space hopefully made on the shield...if succeeded, the thunder would have no place to escape but stay in the film...electricuting Jexim...* |
