Okay. Its a shaft, filled with delicious cream. With nuts on the end, and a bright red cherry at the other end. You can eat them many ways, but the best way to get the insides out is by sucking, cherry first, so you get to savor the delicious nuts at the very end, which are also by then covered in creme. I love canolis... |

| The two blades met and a tempest of energy had joined the two on the battlefield. The winds from this had blown the fires farther out into the orchard, warping the fruit on the trees into festive, glowing orbs. The setting sun blazed akin to the blankent of flames that smothered the fighters below.
Keeping his distance from the tornado, Turshman held tight to his weapon as he detatched the mantle from the filament (after setting it to the lowest heat amount... off.) Using the cloth as a glove, he grabbed a burning peach from the tree and hurled it into the tempest, only to watch it spin around violently, not able to penetrate the shield and causing a tail of flames to come from the projectile. It then bounced out of the vortex and hurtled towards a tree. The missile hit the tree and cause it to crack and fall over the pond. "How do I stop this..." Turshman thought as he jumped to the new bridge that stretched from one end of the pond to the other. He reattached the mantle and heated up the filament, awaiting some chance to come that would allow him either inside the eye, or the opponent outside to him. |

| Turshman stumbles backwards as the crescents gash into where he once stood on the log. The force causes the other end of the tree to submerge, which naturally causes the other side to rise into the air. Holding onto a burnt limb as to keep himself from sliding down, Turshman notices a marble like orb sink into the water right before an enormous explosion occurs, causing him to lose his grip on the tree, fall into the water, and lose his weapon. Before the water that was flung by the explosion was able to hit the ground, it soon was sucked back inwards towards the orb's direction.
[OOC] OKAY! This is a good time to explain a little about my character. In fact, a very good time. For if I don't, what I'm about to do will seem very, very cheap. Trust me. This is stuff I'll be putting into my character profile, stuff I'll be using later on in other battles, stuff that I actually have been thinking up, not just a spur of the moment idea in order to get myself out of the predicament I'm in now 
Turshman is the main character of the story I am writing, which is called River Notes. I'll spare the details about the story, and more about its involvement with Turshman and Sim Battling. Where Turshman comes from, a turn of the century country that is stewing in its own pot of greed and sin, there is an immense river that divides the north and the south of the country. Its duely named "The River" and all along its banks there lies a train track, on which rolls the train, duely named "Big River". (So what, I like the song "Big River" by Johnny Cash a real lot...) Now, little from the story will be brought over into Sim Battling other than the fact that Turshman has an odd affinity that connects him with rivers. His weapons will be based off of rivers in some way (My true idea is to get him to have five weapons, one named after each of the five rivers of the greek hell; if you don't know what Phlegethon is, its the river of fire. So now he has a rapier that burns when it hits the enemy. Each one will have different attributes that are connected to those rivers.) I'll only start calling him the River King after he gets all of these. I'll find some way to incorporate finding them in a battle, but I promise they all won't happen in a row. Not only will he have weaponry that involve rivers, but his techniques will too. Such as... what this whole OOC was about! Eventually I'll think of more but for now... Here is the reason to why I had posted this unneccisary OOC. [/OOC] -------------------- ~River Rush~ Turshman has the ability to run on water, so long as he keeps up the speed. Though he must keep a steady pace, or else he will fall into the water. He may only go forward and diagonally; no sidestepping or going backwards. This is easier to him than actual running, so he can keep it up for fairly long. -------------------- Turshman fell to the water and stepped swiftly away from the orb which began to suck the water from below his feet. Using it as a treadmill, this allowed him to stay away from the Vic Crush. When all that was left below his feet was the sand that was once the pond bottom, he ran quickly as far as he could until the Vic Crush had done its damage. "Who IS this person... are there more like her? How did someone so young get such... such... methods of fighting." Turshman clenched his hand. "I gotta get that weapon back... lest I feel that the only way out is to succumb to a woman. Again..." Turshman walks to the edge of the pond and stares at the Vic Crush that lay as the only item left in the area. The small stream the filled the pond began to trickle down and refill the pond at a painfully slow rate. "I hope you left that hole in the fence; there's not enough water in the stream to let me run back out the way I came in." ooc. *doesn't feel like 'splainin the irrigation system of the orchard... figger it out yerself for now* |
