Notch gave us an official pre-release of patch 1.8 yesterday, so I'm playing Minecraft with a renewed interest. Exploring is now fun, quick, and easy! Health automatically regens if you have food in your belly and you can parry attacks with your sword! Good stuff, indeed!

Yeah, I enjoyed Thief III for the most part, but T2 remains my favourite in the series. I prefer T3 over the first one, however.

The newest patch has changed how the entire game feels, at least for Survival mode. You can sprint, food works in a completely different way, more enemies, more items, worlds are generated with better biomes, ravines and NPC towns (actual NPCs in the next major patch) are randomly thrown in, you can block with swords, charge bows, and and and...

It's still just very awkward for me. I won't go into any detail, but being celibate for as long as I have drives me up the wall. I'm also the type who would prefer a long-term committed relationship before any sort of sex happens, and believe it or not, it tends to deter a lot of women -- making the wait for sexual release even longer.
