| Here's my attempt at a Bitmap post because I thought he was going to make it. Well, I guess it's up to me!
Ayreon is my favourite band of all time. Arjen Anthony Lucassen is a genius when it comes to crafting a story out of music and he takes many talented musicians from all over the world to create an album. Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden. He was actually going to be co-creator of Star One, one of Lucassen's side projects, but he backed out before it was finished. He did, however, lend his voice for this awesome song! It's hard to label a genre to Lucassen's work, as it takes inspiration from many different sources of music. If I were forced to label it, I would call it Eargasmic. I fall asleep to this stuff every night and I sing it in my head every single day. I would have Arjen's babies if I had a womb. Probably my favourite song off of The Human Equation, which follows the story of a comatose man throughout twenty days. It holds the perspectives of him, his best friend, his wife, and all of his conflicting emotions: Fear, Reason, Love, Passion, Pride, Agony, Rage, and the memory of his abusive father and his fear of becoming just like him. Each song is a day and in each day you can put together a piece of the puzzle of why he's in a coma and his life. Goddamn masterpiece of music. I honestly can't think of a better group. Listen to them. Now. |

| Fuck you stomach pain, and fuck you Rogue Valley Medical Centre for not doing anything to diagnose me! I was in agony for 8 hours on Sunday, vomiting from the pain alone. It took them an hour and a half to get me a room then another hour and a half to give me an IV drip, when I'm not only dehydrated from puking but even more so from the 4 phials of blood that they took. Want to know what they prescribed for me? Nausea pills. When I wasn't even nauseous to begin with.
I think it's time for a second opinion! |
