| Tetris all the way! There was a reason why so many companies ripped it off when Alexey Pajitnov didn't put copyrights on it -- It was, and still is, a great game!
I can't stand the home versions of Pac-Man, but the old horizontal arcade version was the best... In fact, my friend Alan has one in his garage  |

| To back myself up here,....
-Cable is way too expensive here ^^; -Well, I can't very well hate everyone, can I? (I wouldn't be able to resist either, lol) -Whenever I download music, I tend to buy it shortly afterward if I like it (Hence, I have all of the Children of Bodom cd's )
-No matter what I do, I can't seem to get Norton off of my computer completely :/ -Microsoft crashes way too often to be worth it. And come on, $100 for a Windows program?? No thank you. And to add to the list.... -People in Runescape that constantly bother you to fight them in the wildy (yes, I play runescape. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?) -People in Tibia that don't know ANY English or German (especially because the game was first made in Germany... I found a whole whopping 3 people so far that are actually German in that game....) PS -- Fixed my layout. Then I scrapped it and made this one. |

| I never really looked at the other Acmlm sites until recently... But I have to say, Xeogaming is the best, hands down! Not only is it run very efficiently, but it is also the most used out of all of the sites!
The two closest are the Ice Board and NFF... And poor NFF barely has any active posters at all! I just wanted everyone to know that I now raise my glass in favor of board.xeogaming.net! Here's to the board that we all know and love -- Cheers! Anybody else who wants to sing a praise, post here. |

All I wanted was to make a good, clean thread where people could actually come out and say what they like about Xeogaming Forums. They can also say what they dislike for all I care! You can completely hate the boards, but as long as you're not breaking any rules, who cares? What I wanted to get across is that the board has been through a lot, just like the other sites, and has made it through better than any of them, and we should be thankful for that! Not that I have anything against NFF or the Ice Forum, its just that the other Acmlm boards just aren't as well done as this one. It really shows in the numbers! In all honesty, if NFF became more active, I would post there a lot! But I went there last night to see that it was rather dead, besides from a few stoic posters. I mostly made this thread to honer what Xeogaming has come through! All opinions are welcome, but if this turns into a battle, we might as well put this in the Debate Shrine -.-; |

If you don't agree with someone with what they posted, just say that. Its not hard. Just say, "I don't agree with you" and provide one or two reasons why! Don't just go saying that the person is wrong! |

| Here's my dilemma -- I bought KotoR 2 for my pc a week ago. I have all of the recommended stats on it but it still says that my video card won't work. This is the card that I have:
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller The game's diagnostic says that I need an OpenGL 1.4.0 compatible card, and I can't seem to find the driver anywhere! I'm thinking about just getting a new video card, because whenever I look up something about the card that I have, people are having the same problem with the same game. Also, it doesn't seem to want to support DirectX 9.0c Here's what I want to know: If possible, can you help me make my card work better? If not, what are some good video cards that I can buy? All help will be greatly appreciated. |

| The crops were dying. There was little hope that the Larka family could make it through the harsh winter ahead. Everyone had given up, except for the youngest of the family, Tadirus.
"Why are you all just giving up? There are other ways to make money and our time's not up yet!" Tadirus was young and naiive. "I'm going to join the Coliseum!" His mother and father looked at him in shock in the tattered fields. "But son... You can't possibly win!" said his old father. "The competition will kill you!" "Well, at least then I'll know that I died trying!" replied Tadirus as he stormed away. "The nerve of that boy of ours!" said his mother. "Are you going to let him just go out and kill himself?" Marx stood staring, motionless. "Marx, are you listening to me?" she said as she shook his shoulder. The dead body of Marx fell limp on to the ground, an arrow protruding from his back. -------------------------------- "Name?" inquired the man. "The name's Tadirus Larka and I'm here to win...." "That will be all, Mr. Larka. Age?" "... Uhh, nineteen, sir." The man looked at him. "Aren't you a little young to be throwing away your life?" he said in a sarcastic tone. "I have to win this. Everyone depends on me! There's nothing that you can say to turn me around now!" declared Tadirus in a confident tone. "Very well. Step inside." The gatekeeper opened the large iron gate that led in to the Coliseum and Tadirus stepped inside. Within were many rooms, mostly littered with training equipment for the fighters that would all take part in the arena. Some people could be seen striking wooden dummies with their swords and others were shooting targets with their bows. "Oi, you, Newcomer! C'mere 'n lemme take a look et ya!" shouted a voice. Tadirus turned around to see a hairy, burly orc with dried mud smeared all over his face. His ugly green face was littered with battle scars. "Ye think thet ye can come in 'ere an win it all? I think yer gonna die before ye can get into the ring!" he said, groping his axe handle. "Look, I don't want any trouble!" said Tadirus, only too late as the axe came whizzing up from the orc's side. Tadirus barely dodged below the surpise attack and deftly countered with his dagger, straight into the beast's chest. The orc fell backwards against a stone wall with the blade protruding from him as he pulled it out to reveal a geyser of red, warm blood. The orc died with a snort, dagger in hand and his axe at his feet. "That was too close..." muttered Tadirus as he went for his blade. He wiped the blood from the weapon on the orc's vest. "Impressive." said a man from behind him. "Fight like that and you just might survive to make a profit out of this place!" Tadirus turned around to face a man clad in splint mail and a bastard sword at his side. The man was about middle aged and had a gleam of wisdom in his eye. He had obviously been here a long time. "You're one of the lucky ones -- You can walk out whenever you like! I was enslaved here eleven years ago, during the war. They signed me over to here and I've been stuck here ever since. I've seen a lot of bloodshed, and I advise that you turn around while you still can." "Hey, I can handle myself just fine!" said Tadirus, looking back at the corpse of his recently slain foe. "I've worked in the fields my entire life and I know how to rival a bandit's blade. The orc was nowhere near what a bandit could do. Who are you, anyway?" "You've a quick tongue on you! The name's Nolan." "Well, Nolan I have my reasons to be here. I'm not going to head back now." Nolan smirked. "With an attitude like that, its a wonder how you got this far... Anyway, good luck in the ring!" Nolan smiled one more time and walked away in to another room. "What have I gotten myself in to?" Tadirus said under his breath, sighing. |

| Listen, Seticus. I have absolutely nothing against you. I do, however, believe that some of the posts that you have made have had some questionable grammatical structure, therefore they were a bit harder to read.
Thexare was right in the fact that it was difficult to read (ie: some grammatical errors), but it was still mostly readable. I agreed with your first post! Almost completely. You just have to dumb down your posts a little bit because you're forgetting key words or a single letter in a word to throw somebody's reading completely off. Thexare was wrong for using the words that he did. He pretty much just bashed you completely for how you wrote your posts! But you were also wrong in bashing him back to make it equal. Two wrongs don't make a right and they never have and they never will. Seticus, what most people want from you is to keep your posts a little neater. Check over it a few times before you post it. Make sure that everyone else can read it as well as you while getting your main point across. I'm not trying to bash you. I don't want to be an enemy. All I'm saying is that if you build to an arguement, you're no better than anyone else in the fight. In each of your posts, you have proven a good point about the topic, which is good, but also said something about someone that's not very nice, which is bad. If you have a problem with somebody or what somebody said, don't throw it out at them in a post. Just leave it out of the post, unless its just completely needed to say what you need. If somebody blatently bashes you and you know that its not true, just ignore it. Usually, that will end it. If they continue, jump down Xeo's throat for them harrassing you! That's what I love about Xeogaming. Flaming isn't tolerated nearly as much as other boards that I have previously been to and that's what I believe makes it so much better. If we can all just drop the arguing, then we'll all be happy. If you have a problem with what somebody says, who cares? Arguing can only fairly end in both people ending up unhappy (or even banned). This board isn't for the poster. Its for the posters. Keep it clean for everybody. |
