| I'm a horrible insomniac, though recently I'm sleeping every day. I tend to write a lot when I get really bad as well, usually coming up with some very eloquent poetry at the time.
I'm usually up because the thoughts in my head go into overdrive and I can only sleep while not thinking of anything. I guess I'm a lunatic? I tend to sleep better during the day but still in darkness. I've always wondered how that works... |

| I usually can't remember my dreams nowadays but one particular nightmare has stuck with me for years.
I hadn't slept in four days, I had started seeing tracers and everything so it was definitely time to sleep. Pretty much as soon as I closed my eyes, I started dreaming and it was the most believable dream I've ever had, just far too real. I was a girl in this dream and I went about my day until it was the evening and I can't recall the events leading up to it but I ended up being raped by some stranger who broke into the house. It was horrifically vivid, more so than I would have ever wanted and no matter how much I tried to scream I couldn't make a sound. The pain seemed so real, not only physical pain but some indescribable emotional torment that I have yet to encounter in the waking world... This nightmare is one of the reasons why I think rapists should be castrated and why I am so sympathetic toward rape victims. I had this nightmare when I was around ten (hard to remember exactly as my memory of those years is EXTREMELY sketchy) and I actually had no idea what rape was back then. | We had one about a year ago called Gorilla Games but I never personally went in there. I heard it wasn't too bad though.
The one that has stuck around, yet moved location far too often, is Cyber Center. Their prices weren't bad the last time I went there (~2-3 years ago) and they had everything from Steam/WoW/FFXI on the computers and I think they charged like $.25 an hour if you were just going to browse the internet. I think the rate was $3 an hour to use the computers and I think Tuesdays were the hardcore gaming nights where they let you stay all day/night for $10 or $1 if you brought your own rig from home. I just simply stopped going when I got a computer that could run everything. Granted not everything is at absolute max specs with a perfect 60fps, but I can play everything and that's what matters! |
