| My FB feed is loaded with women posting their "Baby Bump Progress," posting a picture of themselves holding a sign every week to show how much their belly is poking out. Then there's all the maternity pictures and talking about being pregnant in every daily status update.
This isn't envy talking. I'm just disgusted with words like "prego" and "preggers" and honestly, I'm not that interested in spawning. |

Now we've got Brandon's cousin, Melinda's, wedding up in Washington that we have to plan for in September and Liz and Erik's in October. I played "The Rains of Castamere" at Sara's. I finally opened the Fire and Blood to commemorate Elara's visit. What can I do to "Game of Thrones" up these other nuptials? |

| Suddenly realized I'll be in Vegas when this episode airs. I wonder what kind of betting they'll have for it.
(Obviously with the fact that it's based on a book series they can't go off serious plot points, but more like who'll get first blood or what kind of injuries they'll have each one get before one wins, etc.) |

| As far as I can tell it uses regular outlets. I mean, most of these things are either in people's offices or dorm rooms. We haven't plugged it in, though, since we've been away. Pretty much just hauled it home and went to bed, packed our bags in the morning and left. Haven't had the chance to even move all the shit in our room to put it where it's going to have to go.
But speaking of being away, I'm pretty happy with how I spent today. I shot a 1928 Thompson, drank in the oldest bar in Vegas, drank at the Heart Attack Grill (it's definitely not as good as it was when it was in Arizona), drank at perhaps my new favorite tiki bar, and hit up the Zombie Apocalypse Store. | I have about 5 different women posting "Bump Progress" with signs reading "10 weeks PREGGERS!!" and another 30 or so posting endless streams of pictures of their babies/kids.
And I'm not even complaining about the people who post the occasional pictures or album of their kid's party or trip to Disneyland or what have you. Perfectly acceptable. I'm talking a flood of photos every day from friends with their profile pic set to their newborn's red, squishy face. Apparently newborns can do an awful lot of Facebook spamming along with sharing memes and swearing like sailors about random shit. And this is all coming from someone who feels compelled to post a picture representing every day of the past year (I'm also amused that among my FB friends I suddenly have an influx of people participating in the #Project365 or #100HappyDays memes. Since my "One New Thing A Day" resolution already has me posting something to represent each day, I'm fairly guilty of photo spamming and not even going to attack anyone for those). |

I saw it when I was briefly checking FB before heading out to a screening at a comic shop here in Vegas. At least I saw it in a room full of geeks who were all crazy excited to watch the episode and cheered, laughed, and AWWWWW'd at all the right times. And well at least I didn't know HOW it was going to happen. But, woman... you're on report.

Anyway, right as the screening ended everyone got up and went out into the main part of the comic shop to discuss what's going to happen in the next episode. Brandon and I jammed our fingers in our ears and ran out of the place. With how episode 9 of this season is probably going to be the big fight with the Wildlings and I already know several of the spoilers from that (thanks to annoying spoiler-spreading pages on Facebook), I'm kind of hoping that there are still some shocking things to come. The Red Wedding, Purple Wedding, and Red Viper were spoiled for me. Please... no more colors.

Hm, I've long wondered what I'd get, but I'm not sure if I could make that sort of commitment. I mean, I feel buyer's remorse over just about everything I spend money on and I rethink all of my decisions constantly. If I got anything it would need to have a deep-seated meaning that I wouldn't regret. Seems like most of the tattooed people I know don't even care what they get. Oh, to be that nonchalant about permanent decisions. Soooo... uh... I never answered the question. I talk too much. OK, on first impulse, something "Game of Thrones" related. But I don't want to jinx any of my beloved characters. The only thing I'm sure of is that I want whatever tattoo I get to be in traditional American style. So, I dunno. Arya with Needle and a direwolf, pin-up style, with a parchment wrapped around her that reads, "NOT TODAY"? What's a major opinion you've had in your life that you are now completely in disagreement with these days? What have you made a total 180 on?

Stitch is really into Slenderman, and sometimes comments on how Slenderman might appear if we do certain things. I'm not sure if he actually believes in Slenderman or not, but he takes the mythology pretty seriously.

Still, when I posted this article to him, even he remarked on how stupid and crazy these girls are. Of course, he was also more saying that killing the other girl doesn't even fit with Slendy's mythos. And, Light Knight, you're right. It's damn creepy. What concerned them more? Ending the life of an innocent person who thought them her best friends or that Slenderman didn't come?

In Vegas this weekend, it was OPPRESSIVELY hot. Going outside was bullshit and you have to take a cab to go few blocks because they have the pedestrian routes all fucked up, looping into and out of casinos, and there's so many people. Paid $10 to go to Caesar's Palace, a mile away because it would have taken a couple hours. Fucking serious. And it was staying over 90 degrees at night.

It's going to be a busy month. Hell, this week is not looking too great. My cousin, her daughter, the daughter's friend, and his mother get in tomorrow. And they'll be here most of the month. Not sure if I'll make it to gaming tomorrow night. Bran's great aunt just died and we have the funeral to attend on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are probably going to involve driving the people around Hollywood, and then on Monday I'm borrowing Bran's car and driving down to Ramona to be a character witness for a friend who's trying to ensure CPS doesn't take away her daughter.

Riding around in Stitch's minivan is similarly bad if you have to sit in the rear seats. No extra vents back there and the driver and front passenger get all the cool air. It was difficult to even exist sitting in the back in Vegas.

Despite having so much shit to do, I'm happy about a few things.

First off, my friend Nakey Heather had her baby (while she was one of the ladies posting belly progress and maternity photos, she was the least annoying about it). My friend, Navy, became a naturalized citizen recently and got to vote for the first time this week. I may be taking my cousin and her daughter around to different places between performances. That'll be fun. Brandon's letting me borrow his car to drive down to Ramona to attend my friends' support group to help try to convince CPS to let them keep their daughter. And yeah, I had a pretty awesome trip in Vegas. Did all the stuff mentioned in the previous post, as well as went to a "Game of Thrones" episode screening at a comic shop, went to a topless bar with Bran, walked the Strip a few times, got pizza from the secret pizza place, and attended high tea at the Mandarin Oriental.
