| After looking up the movie in Wikipedia, they mentioned that TokyoPop is going to come out with a manga based on the movie's fantasy world. Good or bad? *shrugs* Either way, I'm going to see this at the first opportunity.
Heh, I would say et's see them rip out a new Labyrinth, but NO ONE could possibly duplicate the one and only Ziggy Stardust. |

Just heard they're putting in production the 5th installment, Order of the Pheonix, to come out in '07. OK, this has to stop. Flaying out the books, then immediately fleshing out a script is getting insane. More annoyingly, there's already battles over who's to play who in the SIXTH movie. Can't we just leave these as the innocent children's books that they are? I mean, it's getting to the point of why bother reading books if in a few years a movie will already be made based off of them? I know that the Harry Potter phenomenon was one thing, that made a lot of people a lot of money, and made otherwise mediocre kids paparazzi bait, but can't this just end now? |

| These are really fuckin' cool. I can't believe how detailed the artists are, and how sophisticated tattoos have become. I remember when they were all greenish black and that all they really varied on.

School days (M-W): - Wake up (no definite time), go to the bathroom, check what's going on online - Get to school before 9:30 a.m. - If it's M&W: class from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. ---- Then work in my office 'til I feel like leaving. - If it's T: class 9:30-11:30 a.m. ---- Club meeting 12:30 p.m. ---- Leave meeting early for class from 1-3 p.m. ---- 3-7 p.m.: work in my office, mostly playing around on XGF, LJ, and other places on the 'net. ---- Class 7-9 p.m. - When all is said and done with school, FREE TIME! The world is my oyster. More often than not, it's hanging with Zoso somewhere. Weekends (Th-Sun): - Wake up. - Adventure.* - Sleep.** *I say "Adventure", because most of the time it's always different. Usually it involves Zoso and Zabuza, at least half the time. | Since I have so much downtime at school and am either waiting to punch-out at work or waiting for my classes to start, I've accumulated several ideas of things to do to pass the time.
I'm just going to say that it's a given that I check the board and LiveJournal, so here's the rest of the list: - Read novels, manga, graphic novels, the newspaper. - Read blogs, random articles, visit random sites--info-snacking. - Come up with things to do over hte weekend or that night. - Correct IMDb's trivia, or edit Wikipedia entries. - Go for a walk. Best thing for it is to walk into areas you know you normally shouldn't be and then play stupid and pretend you didn't know. You see a lot more when people think less of you than you are, believe it or not. Otherwise when I'm not at school: - Play some random Playstation 2 game, since Zabuza's console is here. - Play DVDs and do all those things on the 'net that I do at the office. - Look up places to go and find a way to get there. |

Sad, but funny tattoo story.

My now ex-boyfriend of 4 years and so months, while we were together, got a tattoo in Chinese writing, saying that it was my name in Chinese. I wasn't very pleased with it considering several things: 1) how would I even know that it was my name, 2) he could just as easily lie and tell people it was some other girl's name or whatever, and 3) I really don't want any guy I'm with to commemorate me by marking themselves permanently. Anyway, a few months later his cousin remarks to me about it being his mother's name in Chinese. I got a bit annoyed, but wasn't surprised. I ask him about it and he continues with some story about it really being my name and he just said it was his mother's so she and his whole family wouldn't be pissed. Shortly after the relationship ends (years later), he came to see me (since he lives in Texas), trying to convince me that we really had to preserve the relationship, I copied down the tattoo on paper and showed it to a few of my friends that could maybe understand it, even going to a few parlors to ask the tattoo artists. Though there was some disagreement, the general consensus was that it was neither of our names, but really meant "little noodle." 
Ah the retardary of tattoo enthusiasts. Same boyfriend also has my middle name and his tattooed on his knees. I think he's getting married.
