A: Yes, they would contain a lot of energy. And yes, energy can travel extremely fast. However..if movement was independant, the air current the bullet itself created would rip you to pieces. You would need to focus on generating the energy AND binding each cell..this defeats the purpose. But at least it is a decent explanation. Personally, i wouldn't call the theory itself out in a sim. Would i would point out is that you would fry every cell in your body in the process. There is no way a human being can withstand that much electrical current. It cannot generate it on it's own..and channeling it from an outside source would kill you instantly. Assuming you are 100% base human. Yeah..you'd explode, or be blown into nothingness. Really..there's no way to focus on both the movement and keeping your cells together using a human. |

| (That depends completely on what existance you're talking about. Hell..meh. Besides..just a bit of historical info.."hell" was originally quite cold. Pre-christian demonology tells us that demons rarely surface on the earth because they have a distaste for the heat, at least when compared to their natural enviornment.)
A simple yet blindingly fast swing of a hell-born blade...and his attack was no more. He had expected something with a bit more flash..but the defense told him what he wanted to know well enough. A suddenly appearing blade...remarkable speed..for a moment, he wondered if beings like this knew how completely they revealed themselves. Night's eyes did not follow his opponent as he moved towards one of the sparse stone pillars that jutted forward from beneath. Nor did he have need too. He felt the passing of the blade as it slid into another world, and moreso he felt the probing mind of his foe. Never one to disappoint, he opened an insiginificant amount of himself up for prying "eyes" to see. What his opponent found was almost beyond description. He did not sense an energy..a mind..a soul. He sensed countless trillions. It was not merely a world that his mind met..not merely a universe. It seemed like everything..and so much more. "Im supposing that wasnt even a fraction of your power right then? You were testing me to see what I could do, right? Well, thats not a problem with me really. But there is one thing that is bothering me. You know a lot of information on me, yet I seem to know really nothing. I think it would be only fair to know exactly what im dealing with here since you already know what your dealing with. Dont worry, im sure we got some time for this, and dont worry, im not really the type to attack you while you talk." Night did not reply. He simply stood, his eyes glancing past the point were Desroth had once stood. "Then again, we could just start dukeing it out if you wanted to. I have more patience in this form of myself than the other, so talk away if you want to..." A blatant request..a blatent invitation. He was not about to refuse. "A fraction of my power? I believe you can feel a 'fraction' for yourself. That was nothing but a simple ploy to cause you to reveal more of yourself. Quite successful, i might add." It was only then that Night turned towards his foe. "As to what you are dealing with.." He reached up and grasped the edges of his hood. As he did so, two orbs of electric blue light pierced its shadowed depths. He pulled it back. The features revealed were startlingly fine, almost elven in their definition. This was betrayed, however, by the tone of his skin. Beyond white, it was an extremely light yet somehow rich shade of grey. Rows of small spikes that could only be bone rose from his high cheekbones, a much deeper shade of grey than his flesh. A thinnish nose, yet not severe..proudly set chin..and luminecient silver hair that flowed from the confines of his cloak down his back. But his most remarkable features..the ones that hinted at the truth of him..were his eyes. Pure black, save for their centers..eeriely bright silver irises and deep grey pupils that were alive with electric blue light. "I was once known as "God-Killer"..though i have long since transcended that name." A small grin played across his face, perhaps in memory of something long-past. "Though the people of Shian-aergo did have a different title for me. "Eronigh Sagaht Issonabis". The end of all. But you can address me as Night. Far more simple, hm? And as to what i am...you may live long enough to learn the answer. After all..they say anything is possible." Those glowing orbs travelled up and down Desroth's form, engaged in a seach of their own. After a moment, he continued. "And you would be Desroth. A demon born of one of your world's "hell" planes. Typical demonic, really..inclined to flame. Though the link you have to this "void" is interesting enough. Shall i tell you the spacial co-ordinates of your birth..or perhaps the dimensional path you used to summon that little blade?" Another grin. "I'm afraid i know more about you than you think, little demon. Bound beings are quite..obvious." Night released a small, somehow weary sigh. The grin had vanished, replaced by a somber look that may have been well-known bordom. "Well..there are your answers. At least..most of them. Now, if you wouldn't mind, start focusing whatever energy you can actually draw on..and at least make a go of it." (Note: Some of this may resemble meta-gaming. I can assure you, it is not. No college : No debt...But you'll probably be making less money anyway. Hell man..if it's your thing, go for it. Advertising gigs pay through the roof these days. Get a job...save up about 8 grand..and work part-time while in school. (8 grand would take you bout 8 months with full-time minimum wage employment.) |

Revolutionary content! First, some background info: Someone majorly fucked up at my workplace today..so my register till said that $50 was missing from my drawer when i clocked out. I may or may not be getting fired tomorrow. What's a guy to do? Go in..find out..work/not work..get home..post a reply to a certain tournament..and get incredibley fucked up. But what is revolutionary? Right here..in this very thread..i will be posting Xeoland's first ever Trip Report. Drug-induced ramblings...insane, utterly non-sensical comments..a complete record of my own stupor. Stay tuned. Thursday, 2:28 PM: Welp..willis (as in "Whatchu talkin' about Willis?") fucked his til. I'm golden. Since i am still employed, i will be..cutting back ever so slightly. After all..i only have two days to recover. T-minus 8 hours until you all start looking like ewoks. Thursday, 11:07 PM: Had to work late..so detonation has been pushed back a few hours. Don't worry..only a little while to go. Friday, 2:46 AM: Cant really make out the letters on my keyboard. Bells. Will edit with info tomorrow. Final edit: Hrm. Fuck. Bleh. "Bells" were from my Kalundi Meditation track. Anyway..what a dull fucking trip. Mild disassociation..and nothing else. No visuals..no sound euphoria..nothing. It wasn't that high of a dose..but still. This should have been FULL of insane ramblings that i can't remember writing. Sorry to disappoint. I do not have a profile here. There is simply too much new information to post my old profile and call it accurate. Due to this fact, anyone involved in a tourny match with me may PM me a request for information on any of my equipment/abilities. This can range from a detailed description of an attack to my complete weapon inventory. But please..be specific on what info you need. Night watched the "fearless" man carefully...even as he spoke, a shift in the dimensional qualities around him was evident. It was not long before the change was clear...an overlapping image, a hint of a second self. Desroth had no idea of what he had just done. In showing him this..this demon of royal blood..he had proven himself far more bound than even Night's original assumption. Almost all beings are bound..to a place, a timeline, a dimension, an existance..but to be linked with two was a flaw beyond fatal. Two strings that could be cut instead of only one. "What you just saw was me, but it also wasnt. It would take forever to explain it all, but thats time we dont have at the moment... Since you took the time to explain things, you can attack again if you wish. Im in no hurry to rush into death." For a moment more, Night was silent. However, his lack of voice was not due to careful comtemplation, or tactful thought..it was due to a mix of rage and resignation. The demon had power..and he had hoped. Not for a great, world-shattering battle..he had long since come to believe that there were none left for him. But for more than this...a being more chain than demon. "You don't need to explain a thing. That little..show told me everything i needed to know. Am i supposed to be impressed? A thousand years in a vortex. I have spent ten times that as a statue, observing the lives of millions. A hundred times as an immortal king. A thousand times as a devil. A trillion as a god. You are barely worth the effort, child...prince or not." As soon as he had finished speaking he made his move. His right hand was almost unbelievably fast as it slid into the fabric of his cloak..and was equally fast removing a strange pistol from its holster on his hip and aiming. The gun..what could be seen of it while it moved..seemed to be pure, pale gold. Along either side were five black runes, and underneath each rows of blue crystal broken into nearly countless sections. There was no hammer..instead, a large black stone sat near where it would have been, completely encased within the weapon save for two rounded sides. The barrel itself was equally bizzare..long, slightly squared, with the points of what could have been blades protruding above and below. The rest of their length, one could only assume, was hidden within the gun itself. An instant after drawing it free he squeezed the trigger. The expected explosion of gunpowder was abscent..in it's place, a flash of blue light and a thunderous roar as the round punched through the sound barrier. The round, though too fast to be seen, was golden as well..and it was moving fast. Straight for..where else..the center of Desroth's chest. (Note: The round is energy-propelled, and moving at roughly 2,500 fps. This may seem insanely fast..but it is only 2.5x the speed of an average bullet. Obviously, i did not give it an extra charge. The "gold" round is composed of G.M. Alloy...a metal of various different substances that makes your average 12" sheet of adamantite look like bronze. Assuming that there is roughly 20 feet between us..you'd better think mightly fast. A few things i forgot (Sparda has the link to my old profile, and can confirm this)..the metal is non-magnetic and virtually immune to both heat and cold after the original forging.)
