*laughs* Yeah it's local. Infact that's the only place near us that has some good DDR competition. I'm so glad about that for sure. Anyway, good for you Sajin! I hope to see it! I haven't yet. But I'll keep an eye out for it! Especially whenever I watch Fox and NBC.  I just haven't had time to watch tv you know. I've been playing Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. Doomsday awaits me... This is the day that half of the girls in my Chemistry class opted to give me a make-over. They told me to wear that pink shirt I wear for one reason, it says "Kickin' 'em where it hurts."
It started with Stacey asking the pluck my eyebrows. Then they started going crazy and talked about my wardrobe and my make-up policy. Ofcourse, make-up breaks me out and I can't stand it. oy.... but they SAID that they were going to bring hair straightners, tweasers, nail polish, make-up, and ofcourse, the dreaded smelly lotion of doom. |

| Legions of metalheads who've saluted "the number of the beast" may need to subtract 50 from the numeral that adorns their notebook doodlings, T-shirts and tattoos.
A newly discovered fragment of the Book of Revelation challenges the conventional belief that the Antichrist's mark is 666, indicating instead that it is 616. Expert classicists used multi-spectral imaging to get a better view of the text, which is written in archaic Greek and dates to the late third century. "It is clearly an important new manuscript, giving us a relatively very early copy of the text of Revelation," said Christopher Tuckett, a theology professor at Oxford University's Pembroke College. "It is probably not the earliest manuscript of Revelation that we have ... but this is the first time [the 616 reading] has been found in such an early text." Fear of 666 is so extensive it actually has a name — hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia — and has inspired everything from televangelist speeches to Hollywood films. The numbers have long been appropriated into the heavy-metal lexicon and symbology. Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Danzig and Sepultura have featured depictions of "666" on their album covers, Slipknot have decorated their stage set with 666 signs, and hordes of other bands have incorporated 666 symbols into T-shirts, stickers and other merchandise. Most famously, 666 provided the title of Iron Maiden's groundbreaking 1982 album, Number of the Beast. The title track begins with the Revelation passage "Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number is 666." The recent 616 discovery, which was found in a collection of documents recovered in Egypt, isn't exactly a whole new revelation. While it dates back the furthest, other ancient manuscripts of the Book of Revelation have the number as 616 instead of 666, provoking some debate in the past as to which were the original digits. Both Greek and Hebrew letters have numeric values that can be added up to arrive at a total. One common explanation of 666 is that it comes from the numerical value of "Nero" transliterated into Hebrew letters. A small change in the transliteration can result in 616. Many scholars believe that 666 won out because it is derived from a more complex formula and also because it's simply more catchy. "Six hundred sixty-six looks like a more memorable number than 616," said David Parker, a New Testament professor at the University of Birmingham in England. "Six hundred sixty-six steadily took over, and the alternative was forgotten until modern scholars in the past 200 years started to look at more manuscripts and to find ones that had been lost." Alan Mitchell, a theology professor at Georgetown University, said there's no reason the discovery should detract from the popularity of 666. "In my opinion, it doesn't change anything," he said. "The most reliable manuscripts have the number as 666. There's no reason to change the text of the New Testament, and there's no reason to change the tattoos." | Skuld threw a potion bomb at the demon. The explosion imploded around him. The demon fainted. Skuld drew on it with markers and handcuffed it with her machine cuffs. "YOU FOUND HIM FINALLY CAIROI!! THANKS!!" Skuld laughed and put the demon on her carrier bot. "Thanks! I got some extra cash!" She laughs as the people continue to Epistis. "I forgot to tell you all! Epistis is sort of a village against crime. Don't steal anything. It's a death penalty." Skuld pointed to the entrace to a small town with windmills and people walking through the streets. There was a huge house and the rest were small two story buildings. To the side there was a water wheel bring in water to all of the canals. On another side there was a coal mine.
"Welcome to Epistis," Skuld said. "I'll see you later I have to present the perpatrator who stole our town diamonds. I was hoping he would pop up later." Skuld smiled. "You can come with me if you want. But I reccommend the tavern. I'll have to report to Saurin what happened...." Skuld blushed and looked at the ground. "And I need to see someone else for the moment.. I have to fix somethings." |

The jailer sighed and threw another bag of money in the town treasury. "I can't believe that much already. She's way too strong in this town to really be beaten." The jailer looked over at a worker. "You know there's someone over at the tavern that's stronger! And there's a demon that's way stronger with him too! Maybe if they team up against him we can get a part of the money," the worker said writing down how much has gone into the town. "Nah... Skuld's put way too much of herself in this town lately. It's be bustling with new comers from everywhere. Even the newly weds come here," the jailer said with a smirk. "Plus I be Pluei wants to see her pile of money grow everyday." A little boy about Skuld's age slams the doors to the tavern open. "SKULD! IS SKULD IN HERE?!" |
