She needs to be more girlish. Right now she either looks like a dude in drag, or a bull-dyke. Neither one of those is good news.

lol I totally agree its a good try, but shes a bit....manmuscular/manchunky for my tastes

looks like you were using a dull pencil on the hands too, like clock said, more detail and a sharper line could make them more feminem.

Hm...well, when I showed it to .SK, he didn't say anything aside from her looking slightly overweight, but if those things were so evident I wonder why he didn't say anything else.

Also, I did, in fact, try to make her look more feminine, but if I remember correctly I wound up erasing some of them to make way for those baggy clothes. Apparently that was a bad move on my part.

I might try redrawing her, but I'm not currently in the mood for that.

Excellent work. I give this
*bam!*
*bam!*
two thumbs up!

The only problem that I can think of, is that it's so good, it makes my stuff look terrible by comparison.

How long have you been drawing?

Somewhat surprising that Stephen hasn't said anything about ytmnd yet, considering the amount of ytmnd's that involve him.

Also, on the subject of music-related ytmnd's, I think this is worthy of mention.

You know Xander, those drawings would be much easier to photoshop if they were done in pen and scanned as black and white images. I scaned those as grayscale images, so I'm guessing you had to deal with messy pencil lines. And trust me, those make drawings an absolute bitch to color.
Assuming I could find the original drawings, I might be able to ink them and rescan them for you, but only if you ask very nicely.

And a cat. His name is Bart.
Then there's my mom's horses. Merced, Allie, Chisel, Maisy, and a fifth one whose name I can't remember off the top of my head.

But I'm still missing that one with that guy. Qariel, or something. The one with the swords. I did that on a separate sheet of paper, did I give it to you? I can't remember what I did with it.
And don't call me a numbskull.

Thanks. And no. That's not Shaddow. She's just some random catgirl I came up with in the midst of my sleep deprivation.

God, Max. You need to stop drawing men with breasts.
I don't think that Shinč and Neko Manjaw would be good characters for this.
No offense.

None taken, but, how so exactly do they look like men with breasts? I don't mean to sound snide here, but I would appreciate more specific criticism.

Thanks for the link, by the way.

I'm glad you like it, but this is the kind of stuff I wish you'd tell me before I post something...

Especially fanart. Since that's where I've received the most criticism, apparently...

Yeah, shaddow pretty much nailed it. They have huge jaws and arms. You need to make them daintier.

Well, okay then.

But I have to say that your 'men with breasts' comment was a bit much though.

Dark Forces, Prince of Persia, Mechwarrior 2, Warcraft 2, and Starcraft.

I remember playing Prince of Persia with my dad on our really old computer, when I was really young. The part with the jugs of stuff you had to drink from always confused me.

I'm a big fan of strategy games. Command and Conquer, Warcraft, Starcraft, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes... but not my current interest is a kickass game called Supreme Commander.
First off, this game is huge. Practically everything about it, the size of the map, the units, the amount of destruction, the amount of time necessary to build some of the units (the time needs range from 3 seconds to well over an hour and a half ), the system requirements... the works.
Supposedly, it is the "spiritual successor" to a game called Total Annihilation. Unfortunately, I've never played it ( ), which sucks, because I heard it's supposed to be really good.
I beat the single player campaign a while ago. Pretty fun, but the missions are so huge it could take well over an hour to go through a sigle mission. And there's six missions for each faction (three factions, so that's eighteen missions total). So don't play it unless you got some free time to burn through.

Anybody else play it yet?

P.S: On a side note, what the heck is up with this? Whenever I use an apostrophe or quotation marks, I wind up with a stupid slash right next to it.
