I think Sonic is terrible. I don't enjoy him at all. He's too "New Sonic" like Sonic Heroes and all that dumb shit, and not enough Classic Sonic. He feels too...rubbery.

This is a new RP by me and Xeios!!

Story: The world is split in two. Not by ravine or wall, but by people. The people of the North are in constant turmoil with those of the South. The reason for this is a curse bestowed upon them by gods who once walked upon the earth. These gods were as mortals, and in return for the good will of the people, bestowed them magic and good will. But an ambitious general from the North thought that by mustering a vast army, he could slay one of the gods and take their enormous power for his own.

The entire army was annihilated. As punishment for the deed, the gods cursed all Northerners to be devoid of magic, and then left the earth to a land beyond mortals. The Southerners, though still gifted with magic, found themselves forced to labor on the fields and suffer sicknesses that were once prevented by the benevolence of the gods.

This blame, as well as the jealousy in the blood of the Northerners, led the two to break off into separate worlds, rarely making contact.

But these days, the Northerners have a new magic, bestowed upon them by a new god who walks among them. Their new leader, The High Chancellor, and his twelve Archangels have bestowed upon the men and women of the north this new magic. Technology. The North is now a society caught in a strange mix of The Middle Ages and the far future, where nanotechnology rules the day.

The strange High Chancellor quickly united the once warring nations of the North, and in a move that changed the world, began a campaign against the South. Despite the South's magic, their simple ways were no match for the technology. All those still loyal to the banner of the South have fled to the Sky Temple, an ancient city centered around the magical temple that floats above it.

Strangely enough, there are citizens of the North among the Southerners. Those are the men and women who resist the High Chancellor and his new regime so much they have cast away the ancient ways and teamed up with their former enemies.

This last army has gathered in the hills at the base of the mountain. This morning, however, the ominous black clouds of the North's airships fills the sky. They are coming.


You will have the choice of playing either a Northerner or a Southerner. Northerners often dress in distinctly British attire, and carry a hodgepodge assortment of technology, from a simple saber to a hi-powered rifle. Those who actively choose to use nanotechnology do so with the variety of packs they carry.

Northerner nanotechnology allows for regeneration, electricity manipulation, telepathy among others with radio nanocomputers, slight molecular reconfiguration, things like that. If you have an original idea, include it in the PM, and we'll see if it fits.

Southerners have no firearms, but instead still use archaic weaponry (swords, bows, polearms, etc). Some, by Northerner standards, would be considered superhuman, with incredible agility, strength, and speed. Also to their boon is their use of magic.

Magic manifests as pure manifested energy, a beyond human mental function (telekinesis, telepathy, illusions, healing), or a beyond human physical function (super strength, ability to change shape, super speed, super senses, regeneration). PM me or Xeios with what you'd like to have (multiple forms of magic are possible, but need to be balanced), and we'll discuss it with you.

Name: Joseph Rexi
Age: 25
Heritage: North
Appearance: Sporting the thin frame of an aristocrat, the prince looks much different than most of the Northerners. His light blond hair is relatively long, tied back into a ponytail. As he is a refugee now, he sports a combat suit embroidered with the former flag of the North as well as the South.
Backstory: Joseph left the Royal Court a year ago in an act of defiance. Sickened by the perversion of the kingdom by the High Chancellor, he sought to live his life in exile. Since then, however, he has been one of the highest targets of the North, constantly sought to bring back to the Court. However, he will kill to stay loyal to his vision of the kingdom, even if that makes him a wanted man.
Powers/Equipment: While not truly a skilled fighter, he has a sharp wit. He carries a vast assortment of nanopacks and other weapons and tools. His greatest weapon is his mind, honed since birth to be adaptive and strong.




Name: "Domino" Hi-ke
Age: 20
Heritage: South
Appearance: Tattered military robes, a shredded crimson cape, and aged headband show the wear and tear of the war upon him. His shaggy brown hair falls over his eyes, and his lithe yet sturdy form is almost contradictory to the latent energy he always possesses.
Backstory: A Southern warrior since the battle began, he's managed to survive only at the expense of the lives of loved ones. As such, he's extremely proud and honorable and does not wish to disappoint the memory of those who preserved him. He does not run from any battle, and hearing that the Sky Temple was the final large barricade, he knew his purpose was to fight on there until death said otherwise.
Powers/Equipment: Domino fights in two methods. He wields the sword of his deceased master, an oddly proportioned scimitar much longer than most. Through mastery of the magic bestowed upon him, he can create temporary duplicates of the blade, as well as shock waves that follow it's sharp edge. He also is the only person in the world known to be able to unleash the technique known as the Dragon's Heart. The Dragon's Heart is the manifestation of magical energy so potent and focused it creates the illusory form of a dragon. This dragon wrecks havoc and is legendary in strength, but it puts a difficult strain on Domino.

Alright, shit's changed for me.

3. Fox/Wolf (exchangeable)

5. Luigi

Toon Link is just so much fun to play as. I really enjoy the way Fox plays now, how he's not the speed champion fag he was in Melee, and Wolf is just a quirky powerhouse version of him that's badass. Snake and Ike remain awesome to me, and I always somewhat enjoyed Luigi.

His Smash is amazing! It's not directly powerful, like Link's or Sonic's, but use it correctly and it's one of the most effective Smashes in 1 on 1 fights.

On the whole Ganondorf subject, I think he's gotten so much better. He's one of the few characters I can keep on the field even when I'm in the 100 percentiles.

Captain Falcon is strange. He's gotten better in some ways, and in other ways not so much.

Anyone else notice that the slow characters have gotten a lot better? The slow characters have gotten a lot heavier to go with their speed, and it makes them a lot harder to kill.

OOC: Enjoy the new character I JUST came up with.

BIC: While the hooded figure made his way down the street, another person tracked his steps. A young man stood under shelter in the alleyway nearest to the strange figure, smoking a cigarette. His eyes instantly locked onto this odd figure, his level of interest only for entertainment. That is until the hooded figure attacked a random man.

Without a seconds thought, the young man charged forward from the alley, flinging himself at the dangerous man. His pale face and long black hair were far ahead of the rest of his body, slouched and contorted like an animal's, allowing him to make the distance in three seconds flat. His body then uncoiled like a spring, flying at his target.

I figure it's about time for another one of these. We need three judges besides me, and one to fill my judging spot for my entry.

The young man rose from the ground, taking another puff from the cigarette still in his mouth. The brown energy felt like gnats on a warm summer day. Nothing but a nuisance.

He took off down the street, keeping that slanted running posture he always exhibited. He managed to outrun the strange male and stop a few feet in front of him, the cigarette clouding his eyes behind a veil of smoke.

"Return that wallet."
