| Well, you know what, I'm perfectly cool with that. Heroes has always been for me a comic book world for people who don't like comics. It's obvious the show has turned to them for inspiration over the course of the seasons, and that's fine. TV shows aren't exactly renowned for their originality.
Honestly, when they make the Captain America movie, I expect something like this. The current fad is making comic books fit into our world, and this is just another way to do it. |

| About the whole brain bullet issues:
Sylar didn't know the extent of the ability when he proclaimed that. I assume he understood that he can heal from most wounds, and to most people, that'd lead you to believe you're immortal. Second of all, he was a scarred corpse, not just a skeleton. It's feudal Japan gunpowder. I doubt it being able to destroy everything but his skeleton. Third of all, Claire and Peter came back to life when the object in their brain was removed. Now, this means that should someone dig in there and remove the bullet from his brain, he may come alive, but no one really wants him alive. What will likely happen is that someone will dispose of the corpse by burnination or something so he can't come back. |

| Yeah, but they'd act like robots where you'd have to give them manual commands or give them AI patterns.
I can't imagine being able to do more than that at one time, though. Sounds like a lot of processing power. |

| I've been thinking about War of the Shards and such, and I came up with an interesting idea: A What If universe where Josiah had never become involved. In the main story, Josiah is the unifying force that ends the war. How would the war have played out? Which friends would be enemies? I think it'd make an interesting RP.

| FX commissioned me to reccreate WotS 2. So, I turned the old one into WotS 1 1/2, and thus create the thread here.
This story is much less planned than the first. We'll begin with the trial. Let your character's philosophies and motivations really come out in this RP, guys. Story goes: Five years after the death of Josiah, the trial of Jack is about to commence. The original heroes of the IFDF are all returning to Dome City to play their part, as well as new faces. What few understand is how important this case will be in determining the future of the world. New features: 1. No shards, no aurora. We're all powerless here. 2. Everything will be taking place in Dome City. 3. Everyone else's histories will be the same, basically. 4. The epilogue of War of the Shards has been retconned (it counts as WotS 1 1/2, not WotS 2) Character Sheet: Name: Age: Description: History: Rewrite those characters and let's get this shit started. | Name: Seifer Ezhno
Age: 27 Description: Seifer's amber hair is as shaggy as it ever was, but the length has been shortened. His face is now encased in a beard. His body has become slightly thicker over time, but he is still incredibly fit for his age and has kept up his swordsmanship. History: Seifer has lived an eventful life. His adopted father raised him during the hectic early ages of the new world, and his combat prowess and quick wit spring from him. He was once Josiah's partner in crime, before Josiah turned on him and left him for dead. Afterwards, he served as Edgar White (leader of the former Sujov faction)'s bodyguard, wandered across the land for several years, and then got wrangled into the War of the Shards. Throughout the conflict, Seifer found himself drawn to Holly, a spirited high-class Marinae woman who got in too deep. After the unification of the three factions, Seifer and Holly married. Seifer has served for the IFDF since it's inception. While his exact duties change frequently, he has spent the majority of his time out in the field, attempting to restore peace to the ravaged countryside. His soldiers admire him as a hero and many in the government fear the pull his name carries even in the capital. He has recently finished his Northern Conquest and is returning to the capital to see over the trial of Jack. Many of his officers are accompanying him. Name: Tobias Wolff Age: 17 Description: Lithe, raven-haired, frequently seen in military attire. History: A young man who was 'discovered' by Seifer. His military prowess and his ties to Seifer have caused his propulsion in the ranks, and his efforts have led to various important victories. | Outside of Dome City, the oasis of complete order across the barren chaos, the hum of engines tore across dirt and freshly planted grass. These vehicles of war, aged by enemy's wrath, tore down the path to the great city.
Inside an armored buggy amid the middle of this caravan, three people sat in silence. The driver of the craft was a Palestinian woman with the eyes of a honed killer. Beside her was a young man clothed in all black, one eye obscured by his long, black hair. In the rear of the car rested a man in a white cloak. The hood was pulled down over his head, and a white scarf covered his mouth. Around this buggy were several other vehicles carrying officers, but the sight of the officers was obscured by the walls of the crafts. The buggy and its caravan entered the great gates of Dome City and came to a halt. All but the buggy lurched forward towards the barracks, leaving the three to park their buggy at the gates and exit the craft. The man in the white cloak exposed his face to the artificial sun, gazing upon the city with curiosity. Seifer pulled down the white scarf and turned to his close vassals Shana and Tobias. "It's been a very long time since my eyes have seen this city. Long enough to feel as though I stand in a different city altogether." |
