Locale: The Illustrated Islands. A vast series of very small islands, lush with nature, floating in the middle of a dimensional sea. There's islands in every direction as far as you can see, and there's infinite room to fall down or up, if needs be. BIC: Amid the vast expanse of the Illustrated Islands, Cairoi sat, relaxing on a small island floating quietly through the abyss. He ran his scarred left hand through the quiet brook beside him, watching the water collect around the tips of his fingers and fall back in hasty little drops. With his right hand, he softly grasped a thin long sword rested gently on the ground beside him. The hilt and handle appeared to be made of bone, and the blade of some black stone. Throughout its entire structure, green lines of light curved and darted around the figure of the sword like spidery veins. Cairoi's once emerald green eyes were now dulled, revealing a dark forest where shadows and moss have overgrown the widest roads. His shaggy brown hair hung in thick pieces over his shallow, darkened face, though the myriad of facial scars made his stubble uneven in places. Across his bare chest and arms, a thin moss covered him like a labryinth of tribal tattoos. His legs, wrapped in loose black pants, were wrapped indian-style, exposing his bare feet, his soles darkened from his travels across the universe. Cairoi sat up, lifting his back from the tree, and looking across the abyss to the next island. A strange light had appeared, and he felt a familiar presence in the air. |

| Cairoi waved his left hand, and every island for 100 feet leveled out and dug into each other to form one large, 600 foot wide island.
"Of course. We have no choice in the matter, do we?" As he spoke, small rocks began to lift off the ground and circle around his sword. He pointed the blade at Alex and nodded. "Make the first move." |

| Cairoi's green eyes suddenly burned a bright green when the orbs of magical energy began to charge and be created. He could see through the illusory exterior to the energy nullifiers beneath. Alex had banked on familiarity, but Cairoi had never forgotten to expect the unexpected.
Concentrating on the locations the orbs would land, he opened Etheria Gates to try and counter them. Etheria Gates are small portals to the titular dimension, which is comprised entirely of magical energy. By opening these focused floodgates, he can create small areas where magical energy will constantly be released without strain on his own stores. Understanding that Alex's orbs nullify energy, his Gates will nullify them until there is nothing but the air that once remained. When the limited null energy of Alex's orbs had been nullified, Cairoi closed his gates. Without moving, Cairoi focused energy into his sword and subsequently the small rocks orbiting it. The rocks began to glow, and then fired at breakneck speeds at his enemy like a close shot-gun blast. As they fly, they begin to decompose into smaller chunks of rock, until there is a wall of small, magically-charged rocks that will explode upon contact with any hard substance. As he fired these cluster bombs, Cairoi slid his foot forward and threw up the dirt around Alex in a cloud, limiting his visibility. The whole time, his shimmering bright green eyes were locked onto his enemy, ready for any eventuality. |

| Terramorphus is more than just a telekinetic bond with the elements. It is a spiritual connection, one that is explicitly connected to the user's soul. The earth becomes an extension of the body for Cairoi, and thus, it is as instinctual and intuitive as walking.
When Alex reversed the momentum of his clusters, Cairoi felt it. Understanding the danger, Cairoi focused the energy in the rocks and detonated them, creating a large explosion between the two fighters. As the explosion reached its zenith, Cairoi appeared to flow through it, the vast scars on his body glowing red. Rather than channel all of the vagrant energy into his body with his scars, he merely created a magical vaccum and funneled the explosive force into a beam, headed straight at Alex. As he did that, the island Alex stood on shook violently as Cairoi splintered it. Alex would be off balance for the beam's arrival. |

| When Alex stabbed forward, Cairoi instinctively jumped backwards, out of range of the sword. When the rocks were telekinetically lifted from the ground, he felt them like a finger trailing up his back, and so acted. The rocks that would have hit Cairoi if unhindered stopped on a dime and dropped onto the ground, while the wayward rocks went where momentum would take them, shattering bark and leaves.

| Cairoi gripped tightly onto his dark sword and reentered the fray. Moving quickly, he closed the distance between them, making a horizantal slash to Alex's right side. As he did, his left hand began to shimmer with energy, preparing Cairoi for whatever Alex had in store. The test of swords had begun. | |||

| Cairoi's original slash was blocked back from the force of Alex's spin. However, Cairoi kept his sword in the fray, pressing it forward towards Alex again. With each spinning slash, Cairoi's sword deflected off Alex's, and Cairoi stepped back, trying to keep a limit on Alex's momentum. After doing this several times, Cairoi used the energy he had charged and powered up his slash, instantly overcoming the momentum of Alex's block. Now, while Alex was in the middle of his turn, Cairoi was slashing down at him at breakneck speeds, made possible by the energy. It was not a deathblow, but it would make a strong wound down Alex's back. | |||
