| The dust cloud that had followed Cairoi's initial attack surrounded Xeios' attack, eroding it by absorbing the kinetic force until it reached Cairoi, nothing more than a short gust of wind.
Cairoi continued the assault, lifting five chunks of rock from the ground with his Terramorphus. With a flick of his wrist, they began to spin madly in the air, gaining momentum. With a push, they launched at Xeios, hurtling at him. Not satisfied to end it there, Cairoi clenched his fist and the five rocks shattered mid-flight into a shotgun blast of sharp rocks. With his other hand, Cairoi released two more energy blasts to follow up. He was attempting to keep the heat on Xeios. After all, he knew Xeios could handle it. |

If there was one thing Cairoi could handle, it was seeing through dust. Even without the powerful Hawkeye enchantment on his eyes, his bond to the earth through Terrakinesis gives him a tactile connection to the earth when needs be, and so he could feel Xeios coming. He stepped back from the uppercut he felt coming all too clearly and launched a kick with his right leg at Xeios' gut, mid-uppercut. Should it hit, it wouldn't cause enormous pain, but open a window for Cairoi to unleash more damage. |

BIC: The thick hide of the tentacle was barely pierced by the blade, only cutting a pockmark for the blade to be dug into. The tentacle responded to his defense by curling around and attempting to to squeeze him. As he was fighting to maintain his position, it would be fairly difficult for him to escape the coiling appendage. |

I'm going to have to disagree with you. I really enjoy the entire Sandman series immensely. Maybe it's because I'm a literature nerd and I read the classics constantly but his stories have that literary depth I love to look for mixed with the kind of fantasy that fascinates me. But hey, to each their own.

| Cairoi felt the telekinetic punch hit his gut and gritted his teeth instantly, feeling the force harder than he anticipated. However, he was too invested in this battle to let that pain stop any of his concentration. He kept his weight bearing down in the clash of swords, and his focus working on the mental chip.
He lifted up his left foot and brought it down, trying to stomp Alex's wound and causing him pain. As he did this, the moss on his arms began to grow and work their way to his hands, where it began to gather on his sword. Cairoi was never one to back down. |

| Exactly. Magical exhaustion is just an aspect of fair play. Even the greatest warriors have limits, and within simbattling, it's important to understand that a massive taxing of magical energy has an effect similar to taxing your body physically.
Magical exhaustion isn't a set in stone rule, but it's one of those etiquette aspects of simbattling that becomes godmodding if ignored. |

| Cairoi was hit by the punch, and his body floated backwards as he dealt with the surprising force behind the blow. Cairoi was loath to let the offense die, and so he continued the movement, quickly turning around and facing Xeios. As he turned, the rocks buried in the ground between them came up in short waves before launching out in quick succession at Xeios. Cairoi's body then took a defensive stance similar to the one he had taken before, ready for whatever Xeios would throw at him next. | |||

| Kring talked about his idea for the mini-series. It sounds TERRIBLE. It's basically "Claire is the spokesperson for supers, Sylar struggles with his bad side (AGAIN), and Nathan would show up in one form or another."
Honestly, I used to love this show, but time away has helped me to come with terms with how much it faltered. The fourth season redeemed it somewhat but it's not going to do any good to continue the story. I want it to stay dead. |

BIC: In the history of traditional sword-fighting, there were rare occasions where even the most experienced warrior could counter a disarming move like the launching push Alex threw. Surely, no one could continue the stomp Cairoi had planned. But he was never afraid to improvise, and for Cairoi, the possibilities are endless. When the telekinetic kick sent his momentum upwards, Cairoi did not fight it. He continued the motion, giving up the sword clash and doing a back flip through the air, assisted by his own levels of telekinesis. He put enough distance between the two of them where Alex's slash would pose no threat to him. He landed and ran straight at Alex, collecting energy in his left hand. He brought the sword up in a slanted upper stab, while launching an energy blast at Alex's legs with his left hand. He'd keep up the assault however he needed to. |

| Monica will never be in a Heroes thing again ever, likely, because the show can't abide one of the bare few good characters introduced in Season 2.
Also, I liked that Micah was Rebel. I mean, he was friends with Wireless, so he probably picked up some lessons from her, and she WAS dead. I was just glad he came back once after being so rudely written off. |
