I can understand what you mean when you said you're normally above that. I used to fight people all the time, almost daily, until my neighbor moved away. From then on, I have attempted a path of pascifism, but the road is hard. I often mess around with my friends and some of my closer friends are afraid of me when I get angry. Other people who only know me from school think because I don't play a school sport or anything, they think I'm weak. Because I've chosen the path of pacifism, I can't just kick the shit out them and shut them up like I desire. Dude, I have a minor set of advice for you: Instead of doing what you did, if they asked you lost in the fight, you could have just said " You know, it doesn't matter and it isn't any of your buisness." Then just keep quiet. They would have gotten annoyed quickly with your lack of participation and left. Sure, those ignorant people who are shallow and self-rightous may mock you for a moment, but less damage will come to both parties if inactivity is taken. Dude, take the high route and fuck the social opinion. As long as you don't personally believe what the public wants you to, it shouldn't affect you. |

| Avatar, not all the genrousity of the season is fake. Mothers and fathers who love their kids think hard about what to get them. They honestly Don't have to, but they do anyway.
Secondly, Your comment on the Jewish holiday of Hannukah. While I realize that I am not Jewish, the holiday is showing how a grim situation was saved by a miracle from their world, and seeing such a grand miracle take place solidifies their faith in their lord. Honestly, I could care less about commercilization. Let the dirty politicians do as they please. Karma will come for them in time. |

| OOC: 3 day limit, huh? Not a big fan of it, but it looks like I have little choice but to accept.
BIC: A clash of the raging thunder brought the sillouete of Cairoi into view. He had seemingly come out of nowhere, as he often did. He wore a black cloak over his clothes to shield him from the rain. It was greyed and weathered, as it had seen more storms and conflicts than most men can ever hope to. It was torn and ripped about the bottom, jagged edges showing a forced erosion. Cairoi lifted his head and stared at his opponent. The man was dressed oddly, as are all in this time. His long brown hair was layered and straight, except the bangs twriling in front and the ponytail reaching his shoulder blades. His face was clean and handsome, scarred only by the magical black hook scar over his right eye. His eyes shone out of the greyness the rain had slipped into the areas. The pupils themselves shone a light green which seemed to pierce the soul of those who looked in them. He scanned Alex with these eyes, and then began speaking in his young but stern and strong voice. "Alex, yes? I believe you challeneged me." Cairoi touched the lapis luzi brooch that held his cloak and place and prompted to shift it, making the cloak more comfterable. Cairoi then brought his gloved right hand back onto the hilt of his sword Diosu. It was in it's standard scimitar form now, made for instances where speed and timing where often his best choice. He felt the banaged hilt's cold and stood firm, his eyes no wavering from Alex. "I am ready." |

| The slash cut through the cloak as though it were air. In fact, it was cloak and nothing more. The second Cairoi had adjusted his brooch, he had unlocked it. THe second he moved out of it, it ruffled in the air and began to fall, only to be slashed by Alex. Cairoi, who had stepped to the side, was carefully positioned next to the cloak. As it inhibited Alex's view, Cairoi had a more than ample chance to strike. He moved forward, bringing himself facing Alex to his direct right. Cairoi drew his blade with his right hand and brought it down towards Alex's exposed back, all in but a second. With such speed, Cairoi had finished many battles in one move.
Now that he was out of the cloak, his clothing was visible. He wore a black cloth jacket over a forest green shirt. Around his waist was a simple brown belt. Also, he wore a black pair of pants. All of these clothes had one thing in common: They reflected no light, hinting at their magical nautre. |

Cairoi's sword had not "bounced" off the shield, but had flinched as it hit the shield. Cairoi continued putting pressure on it as he spoke and the second he did, he disbanded this wall of air with ease and then felt the force bring the sword down upon the least expecting Alex. With the impression he had been safe, Alex's advanced guard should get his blood moving and himself as well. |

| OOC: I never said I was unbeatable. I was just disbanding the attack for one quick attack. And when I said fell upon meant it is falling upon, you know.
BIC: Cairoi smiled as the explosion of air hit him. He laughed as he was pushed back, his feet never leaving the ground. The blast had pushed his body back, but his body was trained to take much worse than this. Also, his magical clothing was near impenetrable and merely took the blast without much phasing. His clothes were stronger than almost any known The moment he came to a halt his gloves slipped off his hand and they began glowing a crimson red aura. He pointed his hands outwards and formed a shield of this same red energy, sensing Vulkar's attack. The shield was like a semiglobe around him. The energy resembled electrcity, and Cairoi was visible within. The dome was connected to Cairoi by the surges and chains of red energy leading from his hands to the shield. As each blast came into contact with the shield, the energy was sucked into the twirling mass of energy and traveled into Cairoi, feeding him energy. After each blast was discharged, Cairoi disbanded the shield and looked at Alex with a grin. "15 seconds into this battle and you've descended into insults. So many fighters on this globe has an ego to match the gods. The second you insult and degrade your opponent, you leave yourself open to your enemy. Remember, egos are often inflated, not filled." Cairoi stood unwavering looking at Alex. This looked to be interesting, but he felt that there was too much confidence in this fighter. Everything is good in moderation, he thought to himself as he moved a few stray hairs from his face. |

| OOC: The moment you charge energy, you release an energy signature that can be detected. In Dragonball Z, they could sense auras. If you were charging ki energy, you would be channeling, focusing your chi inside you and make it midly detectable by a spiritually adept fighter. I can sense these kinds of energy due to magical concentration and meditation, which released this dormat ability. ^.^ Also, my I kind of got the impression your hand was glowing blue for a reason. Besides, I never had an exact idea what attack you were charging. Red absorbs almost all magical attacks and so Cairoi felt it would make a suitable defense against your counterattack, whatever it may be, since he could sense your magical signature.
BIC: Cairoi acknowledged his opponent's thought process. "I am not a pawn, as you would like to believe. I am more of an ally, or loyal vassal, than a pawn. While I am not bound to save the Earth, I have allied myself with Gaia, and will attempt to do so. He has no control over me. No one does." Cairoi smiled and extended his hand, focusing on the earth. From the earth arose large chunks of rock, jagged and ancient. Cairoi began spinning them in the air, giving them friction and momentum, before pointing them at Alex and launching them at him at near incredible speeds. These missle drills should, if they hit, tear the flesh apart rapidly, leaving little left to the imagination. |

| OOC: Physcokinetic energy should leave a concentration signature to it due to fact that energy is being charged and emitted. So, even if it isn't magic, Cairoi should be able to detect it. And, I read your profie, it was energy. You didn't say it was
BIC: Cairoi's muscles tensed as Alex began to run and he launched himself to the side. Cairoi flew 20 ft to the right before ending his uncontrolled launch with an expertly finished somersault, effectively stopping himself. His speed was amazing but controlled, as he had summoned enough force to narrowly avoid the slash. "No matter who you are, death is always a risk." Cairoi quickly used his Terramorphus to break the ground around Jexim in a 15ft radius, leaving him only the ground he stood on. He then released a Dragon Hyotokkko upon Alex, it flowing out of his hand in a fury, the dark blue energy pulsing as it flew at speeds exceeding 200mph. Hyotokkko: Hyotokkko is a series of techniques that Cairoi invented to find a hole through armor and hiding places. The attacks home in on 3 specific attributes of Cairoi's target: his energy signal, his DNA signal, and his heat signal. If an object does not correspond with all 3 of these attributes, it phases through it. Dragon-This is a much more powerful form of Hyotokko because it takes the form of a larger, dragon-like beam of the energy. If it were to hit, the attack should do the same non-feiry burn as Alex's ki blasts. |

BIC: The second he sensed Alex summon the mental energy to survive this attack, Cairoi had activated his Red Cross Scar power. He channeled the aura completly around him and looked up to see Alex talking. He felt the energy hit his body and he was flooded with excess energy. His vision blurred amazingly before the blast subsided. He found himself backwards 10 ft, as the speed of the blast had knocked him backwards. Cairoi was flowing with the energy, and he smiled at the heavily airborne Alex, beginning to charge the energy Alex had fed to him and an equal amount from his own store. He pointed his hand upward and released a Hyotokkko that was unseen before on these lands. It was raw, humoungous, and as fast as sound. It was 40ft by 40ft, and it homed in on the form of Alex. The blast was literally twice the size of Alex's. |

| Okay, I know SBC are up next, but maybe I'd like to throw about a few ideas for the next tournament. I mean, Input isn't evil, is it?
1. Impulse Tournament Rules: Instead of getting a weapon and learning to adapt, you are given a random character with a vague outline. You are then required to take this character and fight with him, creating spells and techniques, all the while trying to learn what you're enemy is doing. This spur of the moment creation truly shows the essence of the simmer regardless of the character they use. 2. Magic Tournament Rules: Instead of weapon only, in this edition, no melee are allowed. Only magic. You must use your character's spells effectively and carefully, always thinking of what countespells your enemy may have. 3. Timed Test In this tournament, you are given a set amount of posts to do as much damage as possible. 5 posts each to release the most you feel the need to and decimate your opponent. That was all I could come up with. |

Cairoi drew his blade once more, this time channeling energy into it. It began emnating so much energy it was similar to a lightsaber. The heat energy would dissintagrate almost any material, except certain energies. The sword hissed and crackled in the rain, steam erupting from the blade with each raindrop. Cairoi lifted his hand in the air and called upon the storm, sending down a lightning bolt 15 ft from Alex. The thunderbolt was meant as a distraction, as Cairoi flew forward and shifted all is weight into his blade. As the light dissapated, he swung horizantally from the right at the shield, and if he hit broke the barrier, aimed at Alex's ribcage. |

| Personality-Ginji Amano. Xeios told me that I have almost his exact personality. I am childish, generous, good at fighting, crazy about foodness when I'm hungry, and all and all very mellow when I want to be. In fact, me and Xeios are basically the Getbackers because he's almost exactly like Ban Mido. ^.^ and once we become roomates after colledge we are rocking out the waznoo.

Sparda: The timed test idea for me was to unleash the most power in set amount of posts, just to see how far you could go. But eh, It's not my favorite, or second favortie. The Impulse one... This was my idea, but if you don't like, please tell me so: BUILT IN: Name, Race, Weapons, Elements, Some Appearance. CREATED: Personality, Clothes, Spells, Techniques, Transformations. I suppose the tournament leader would PM the person the outline, and then the fighter would tweak it. The leader would then review it (hopefully with council because I don't like the single judge idea, sorry ), and respond with either approval or pointing out either god mods or unallowed things...
^.^ Yeah... It might take quite a bit of reading, but I think it'd lead to tons of new characters popping up (giving Kaijin's division idea a breath of fresh air) and it'd spark the creative juices that have previously been dormat. So, it cool? |

| Cairoi smiled. His plan had worked perfectly. Cairoi focused his mind and the energy went from the blade back into Cairoi, giving him an excess of energy in his standard flow. He smiled as he released his rage, which released his inner ability. Cairoi had managed to use energy as an outlet for his anger, making Rage Flame. The green fire erupted from Cairoi's hands, the dark emotion actually darkening the forest green flames.
"Feel the ember's rage. This is my own technique, thought you might like to know." Cairoi stepped forward and released a torrent of Rage Flame, taking the form of dual cyclones. THey flow from his hand at Alex, growing wider every millimeter it transcended. Rage Flame- This fire, formed from a mixture of pure will, energy, and rage, is almost identical to real fire, except for three things. One, the fire was green instead of the standard orangey glow. Two, this fire could not be put out with water or any other normal fire-stopping materials. Three, it would only disband if Cairoi's will for it to exist was rested. |
