Jack nodded at Kiera, sending her the signal he would be back in a minute, and he followed Morrighan, listening to her intently. He leaned against a tree and dropped his head, taking in her every word. He waited until she finished before making himself known.

"Want to know how I know? When I did the ritual, I was flooded with Urashi's mind and soul. I know everything he knew, felt, saw, heard. I felt his love for you. Otherwise, he would have left. He knew he would die once the shadow joined him, so, he planned this. The bastard played us like pawns."

He walked over to Morrighan and lifted her up. He gave her a comforting hug, a smile still on his face.

"He left me a message in his mind. He wants us to finish this. You up for it?"

Sparda Hellsing the ChaoticDeath vs. Cairoi Alester the Last Terraknight


The people of the forest always wondered what that strange bridge was. It loomed through the trees, seemingly flying. It was a stark contrast from the earthen colors of the trees and earth. It ran through the forest until it reached the holy grounds, where the people dared not to go. It too was made of white stone, and it glowed with an unnatural celestial energy. The animals and people stayed far away from the holy grounds and the bridge that leaped from it. However, those who knew the temple could not stay away. It held within it the gateway to all worlds, all dimensions. It could only be traveled, however, by those who possesed a certain Toll Orb. There were few orbs that carried this mystic characteristic, and so were priceless.

And on this day, Cairoi Alester made his way down the bridge that loomed 25 ft high off the ground towards the temple with the orb resting comfterably in his pocket. His walk was free but stern, his face wearing a nonchalant face. He was almost there, close to finding a way to save this planet from the demons that infested it. His hands were concealed in his gloves, and on his body he wore his Terraknight robes, an unusual event indeed. They too had the mystic property of his regular clothing, but in enhanced proportions. They were stronger than bulletproof armor, stronger than steel, yet they were comfterable to Cairoi and did not inhibit his stride in the least. On his back rested the holy blade Diosu in it's scimitar form, it's flowing blade concealed in the obsidian sheath. Cairoi stopped when he felt a massive aura move in on his location, his body flowing with adrenaline. He saw the figure of Sparda appear and his smirk grew wider, showcasing his suprise.

"Sparda Hellsing, how have you been?"

"Following strange compulsions always lead to something exciting."

Cairoi laughed and drew his blade with his left hand. The second it left the hilt, it's angelic light flashed and revealed itself. The blade was unseeable behind this cloak of white light. Cairoi channled the holy energy into him so the light would not interfere with the battle. The smitiar's wavy, deadly sharp blade was revealed, which was the same color as the obsidian hilt, but it had been forged of the strongest minerals known to the Earth and forged with enough power to make it indestructable. Cairoi looked at Sparda with enjoyment as he took a step foward again, his green eyes piercing the sky around them.

"Shall we go then? I have been waiting for this quite a while."

Cairoi cocked his head, the stray brown hairs hanging from his hairline pushed aside. He tossed the sword to his right hand and slanted forward, bringing his right foot forward. His smile was still apparent as he watched Sparda with interest, careful to see his movements. It had been a while since a true challenge had surfaced.

Vulkar, choice is not an illusion. What happens is made by choice. What you're saying is the choice that happened is the only thing that happened, yes, because we chose it. The propable choice is still a choice and can get be forsaken. What happens does not just happen, we make it happen.

"You to attack, but so be it."

The energy flashed into Cairoi's left hand in an instant. A concentrated grey aura charged into the hand, shaking up the mist of dominance Sparda had summoned. Cairoi's eyes gleamed as he pushed his left hand forward and released the beam of energy known to the world as Dragon Hyotokkko. The blast was called Dragon due to the fact it's raw pulsing grey beam was reminiscient of a dragon, and it's bite was just as fierce. Hyotokkko attacks all had one thing in common: They homed in on three specific characteristics of a target: Heat signal, DNA, and aura signal. It homed in on all three, bypassing any other object. It would hunt Sparda for 1 minute until it dissolved. It would deal non-elemental damage, but it was a form of energy unlike any but Cairoi could harness, so it was inabsorbable.

Vulkar, example: I walked home from school today in the rain. I knew it was going to rain and my every thought told me to get a ride but instead I walked. I chose to for absolutely no reason, just because I thought some good might come of it.

Wow, I had school today and it just blew by. My utter fear of coming back was heightened as i awaited the daily sun-lit chariot to hell. Everything that happened is vivid, but seemed like a blur, my every eaking moment another inside this abyss. My will snapped back into focus on the chariot awaiting departure to the homeland. My thoughts were weighed with malingant questions that have followed me to this very moment.

Boy, let this semester run quickly.

So you're saying that the reason we make a choice is what we've done before...Duh. But we're still making the choice. Whether or not it is inevitable does not stop it from being a choice. An obvious choice, an absolute choice is still a choice.

When Sparda moved to intersect the oncoming physic blast, the aura Cairoi had summoned tingled his senses. He jumped to the left and spun his blade as did so, seeing the spikes arise. He smiled with relief as he saw the spikes stop and he saw his oppurtunity.

Cairoi's eyes opened in a flash as the air currents he manipulated made a point of whirlwind-like constant spinning vortex that would rip apart flesh as though it was not even there. Cairoi released the humongous air spear at Sparda. The spinning air blast was concentrated into a 6ft area from the center, but it would travel forever until opposing air currents killed it. The blast moved faster than the speed of sound as it left Cairoi's extended palms, pushing him back a few feet. The most concentrated center of the cone was aimed at Sparda's exposed face. Taking into account Sparda's brief yet still existant concentration on the spikes, he would not have any time to react from this new attack, still working on the Hyotokkko's assault.

Then why did you ask this question? Of course the mind's thought is based off previous actions, but it still a complete choice. Neither answer is correct because your question is flawed. Even if supposedly all choices are inevitable, choices are still choices. We ourselves are based off our enviroment, and other factors control us, but we are still human beings that still make these choices. Whether or not they are inevitable does not stop complete choice.

And by saying this, you are probably ticking off anyone loyal to their religon. In most religons, a God is the one making these decisions. Philosophy and religon are intertwined, so don't try to say it has nothing to do with it.

It started not too long ago with a character. A nameless glorization of all I stood for. He was spiffy, he was superfly, but he had no name. One day, while playing Crystal Chronicles with Xeios and Jity, I was flooded with this holy piece of a name.

Jack scoffed at Eric's obvious unwillingness to participate in a group. He used to think the longer idealogy was good, but it served no good purpose. Humanity thrived on teamwork. So, he raised his hand at the Maricachi's direction and electrically manipulated the pause button on his CD player.

"Mariachi, we do this as a team. It would be foolish to leave our less combat-oriented teammates to defend themselves. How about we attempt to stay together as a team?"

Jack's voice was rather aggitated, as this event had opened an old wound in his mind. This had happened before, he would not let it happen again...

"Pyros can do what he wants. But Missy and...that other guy could need protection. All I was saying was instead of going by ourselves, why not stick together?"

Jack shook his head and turned around, looking for the other man who left.

"That other guy didn't look like he could live long on his own. I'll go with him. Missy, if anything happens, you know what to do."

What Jack was referring to was to release an electrical signal, which he would more than likely be adept to find across this jungle of a city. He felt the air around, noting in his mind the man was wearing metal and attempted to sense him. He felt a tingle reminiscent of the device the man had used to upgrade the gun and ran in that direction. He jumped onto the wall and threw his robotic arm into it, making holes for his grip. He scaled the wall ina matter of seconds, stopping to get his balance on the rooftop. He turned and did a farewell two fingered salute to Missy before breaking into a dash across the rooftops, hoping the man was okay. After about 2 minutes of running he saw him and another figure standing in the road. He jumped off the building, grabbing onto the top of a streetlight for a second to lower his momentum before landing on the ground hardly. He stood up slowly, catching his breath.

"...Found you...Hey, new person...What's up? "

Jack and Morrighan walked back to Kiera and the others. Jack had a slightly happy expression hidden behind his nonchalant exterior.

"Forget any plans we had before. We are attacking the government base as an organized army in 3 days. James, Trios, you two muster as much an army as possible. We will discuss our actions later. Kiera and I have buisness to attend to."
