| Cairoi tried to react quickly, taking the four hits to the side with his arm, but it was wearing down on him. The sidekick came as a surprise, and it blew into his side, painful and fierce. Cairoi held his ground, though, by turning his waist before the hit so he was only pushed slightly backwards. Though the pain was distracting, he took a step back and launched a incredibly hard right hook at Leon's chest, throwing his entire weight into it. This hit came with a force that could break stone, and he hoped it would break Leon. | |||||||||||

| Cairoi responded by bringing his head down onto the open palm, head butting it back at Leon. The force of the hit brought him slightly into the air, his torso going at a backward angle, but he quickly worked it to his advantage by pulling his legs in and thrusting them down at Leon's head at full speed. Cairoi then used energy through his hands, regardless of whether or not the kick hit. It would also serve to knock Leon back several feet. He flew backwards through the air and landed on his feet, though hardly. He slowly rose and caught his breath.

| Cairoi focused on charging pure energy before Leon struck. When Leon flew at him and launched his kicks, Cairoi blocked it with his arms, keeping the energy harbored inside his hands. When the kicks hit his arms, he let his defensive stance with his hands begin to slip, and his hands had essentially stopped separating, each pointing at Leon. When the hammer blow came, he dodged it by stepping backwards out of the way. With a quick thrust of his arms outward, he released a large blast of energy that would engulf Leon and knock him back once more.
Cairoi could feel this match was reaching its climax as he released the blast, already plotting his next move. |

| Caught entirely by surprise, the axe kick hit his shoulder and he dropped down onto his right arm, but he wasn't even close to done. He pulled his legs close to his torso while holding himself off the ground, and used Terramorphus to form a pillar underneath him. It launched up incredibly quickly, and it brought Cairoi just above Leon. He pulled his right hand back and came down at Leon, throwing the punch. He should be safe from the possible kick, but it didn't really matter, for Cairoi's aura seemed to be flaring in an odd manner... | |||||||||||

| Cairoi's hit missed, as he came to realize, but that wasn't about to stop him. He looked up at the impending doom Leon was creating, seconds before he launched it. Cairoi called up the energy he used for Terramorphus, the energy he used in base combat, and hidden energy locked away for this hidden purpose. His body began glowing with a torrent of energy, the energy like nothing seen before.
"THIS IS IT" As the blast came down upon him, he flew forward, straight into it. For a few long seconds, it appeared as if the blast had swallowed him whole. But suddenly, a flash appeared in the middle of the ball, and Cairoi launched out at the speed of sound. He flew at Leon so fast there was essentially no time to dodge, let alone call upon a second orb. The force of the attack was beyond belief, as Cairoi had sacrificed the ability to use many of his powers to call upon it. If it hit, which it almost certainly did, it was an endgame move. Both Cairoi and Leon would be weakened horribly, and if Leon couldn't counter this hit, it was very likely he'd be dead. No one had survived the Ultimate Drive before. |

| Cairoi had no time to react to the blast, so his attack went straight into it. He began burrowing through the blast, but he knew this would never work. At that moment, flowing with energy in a sea of magic death, he knew the only possible way to win this. Cairoi called up the Spark of Terra, using the resources his body offered him and released the blast. His own personal energy, the energy from his ultimate attack, and the Hyper Flash all fused together to make an explosion that would swallow Cairoi and Leon both. There was no hope of dodging, guarding, or escaping this inferno of death. It was merely a contest of endurance.
Could Cairoi and Leon both survive the onslaught they had made with their might? Lost in a sea of energy, it would only be until the cataclysmic eruption subsided before Cairoi's fate would be revealed. |

| In a few moments, the light faded. Cairoi's eyes slowly opened, and he saw nothing but the blue sky. He slowly lifted his upper torso, his body in terrible pain. His clothes were in tatters, most blown off completely. Jacket and gloves were gone, shirt torn irreparably, and pants torn. He was covered in gashes and scratches, and he felt like he had been hollowed out.
After a moment to orient himself, he noted he was in a humongous crater. The street they had first fought on was more than destroyed. He looked around the crater, and he could see nothing but rocks. Leon was either underneath rocks, out of the crater, or high in the sky, from what Cairoi could see. He coughed and slowly brought himself to his feet, knowing he was done. He waited for a signal from Leon before doing anything but breathe and mind the pain. |

Cairoi fell backwards, laughing. The blood dripping from his forehead traveled down his nose and over his mouth, as he laughed harder and harder. "Next time, man, next time I'll get you." Cairoi laughed and looked up at the sky. This was what he lived for. The rush of the battle, the climax and final test, all of it. Those moments, the trials for his life, he carried with him all his life. He raised his hand up and stopped his laughing, getting a happy but serious expression. "Until next time, we part as friends." |

| Ken and Bo'tk shared on glance, before Ken turned and began walking up the small incline the mouth of the pass created. Bo'tk closed his eyes and called out to Ken.
"Remember to hold tight the Lotus, lad." Ken turned at this, and reached into his pocket, pulling out something connected to a chain, which dangled from his clenched fist. "I've guarded it safe for half my life, friend. It isn't going anywhere now." Bo'tk, taking this in, smiled and turned, walking back to the carriage. Rei followed after him, silent, but more enthusiastic then he had been. Bo'tk climbed onto the carriage and looked at them with promise. "Find the Azule Alliance, friends. They wait for you in Ha Even, and they will ensure you are all ready for the perils that most certainly face you. That is my final gift of advice I can offer you." And with that, they were off. Koko hissed awake and the carriage flew down the dirt road, leaving nothing but a trail of dust, and the memories of Rei and Bo'tk, and how they had impacted them. Ken faced the mouth of the passage once more, and, invigorated with a new purpose, spoke. "We face our next trial, here in the Wasteland of the Wailing Souls, the Badlands. Let us hope it takes kindly to us." |

| Ken motioned for the others to follow, and they moved up to where Vincent stood, and together the group made their way into the mouth of the passage. The shadowy passageway was only barely lit by the sun. The two cliffs were only 10ft apart, but the end of the passage could not be seen.
Ken raised his voice after they walked for a moment or two, addressing Vincent. "Ah, you recently did your initiation here, right? ...Must have been tough." |

Cairoi dropped from the roof, landing softly in front of Alex, almost 15 ft away. He raised his hand at Alex and pointed it, but nothing happened. At least to the visible eye. "I constantly challenge myself to be better. Terramorphus, Cross Scars, martial arts, mana control...Everything I use I master, then use only when I feel it needed. Don't give me the speech that you earned your powers and I haven't. For every fight I've had with you, you've used those swords and your psychic powers. The days between our battles, I learn and grow." Cairoi closed his eyes, and suddenly, he began to erupt with a vast torrential outpour of energy. His eyes glew, and the buildings near them began to collapse, as though fleeing from his might. "Now, to prove to you I need not these scars nor Terramorphus, by killing you in one brilliant flash." Cairoi laughed as the buildings blew out next to him and the dust covered the alleyway. He was not encumbered, thanks to his Hawkeye, but it was very possible Alex would not see this next attack coming. Well, frankly, at the attack this attack moved, he wouldn't see it anyway. Cairoi let the attack go without warning, and unless Alex was the fastest man alive, he had little hope of surviving. For the End Sphere is Cairoi's Instant kill move. Explanation of Technique: (Cairoi uses all of his mental powers, fueled by the energies of his Cross Scar and Terramorphus control to super-power electromagnetic waves in a contained area. In this case, it will be the 10ft around Alex, in all directions. The point of origin releases a torrent of electric energy infused with magical energy powerful enough to rip apart matter in a millisecond. The energy is then absorbed by a barrier of Red Cross Scar energy, which reroutes the energy into the point of origin, continuing the attack for 6 seconds. If one was fast enough to attempt to dodge the waves, which move at the speed of light, the Red Cross Scar barrier would begin to absorb their energy, shattering the orb and causing the energy to fly out at them. Cairoi has perfected the technique so that it does not use up all his energy, but it blows out his Cross Scars, and throws off his link to the planet, thus negating his Terramorphus. It also requires a large store of his energy, tiring him out to the point where he can only fight with his fists and/or swordplay. However, the speed it would take to defend or dodge this technique is beyond almost anyone's ability. Cairoi had invented this technique to kill, and it did its job with an almost guaranteed success rate.)
