-Went to Iraq and found love. 2. To start off I am new to forum role-playing, I have about 15 years in TTRPG (D&D 1234, Alternity, D20 Modern, Rifts, ect), LARP (Chicago BK, New Orleans BK, SCA Arkansas Missouri Illinois) and MMORPG (World of Warcraft, Ultima Online, Perfect World, and about 20 more). I hope everyone has fun in this world I have built over the last 8 years. I will try and keep it going. ============================= * A small figure slowly gets larger as he walks forward across the vast nothing. "I think all shall start here" * he raises his hand in front of him and starts waving it back and forth, forward and backward, up and down. " Sekrulette Los darma krubchev domunic tella fran" * A tower rises from the nothing. On top of the smooth walled 10 story tower a small crystal floats. The crystal begins to pulse with a small glow of red, and then it starts to pulse violently and with multiple colors. "Sister of creation I need your light to shine into this void, please lend me the power I so desire" * A very bright light shines from the tower. A blinding light. "My name is Makii Tachibana the 3rd dragon of the sisters. This shall be my world. I shall do the best I can to balance it." * Twin female voices fill the void with many comprehensable and incomprehensible languages. "We are the sisters. We were once one but now are two. We have given you your world. The five dragons shall watch over it. We have given you what you want. In return you shall live forever, never aging, never ending. Now go and teach us about the races we have created and put into this world." * Makii looks at the sisters. He nods then turns from them to face the other four dragons. "We shall" "I am Makii the 3rd black dragon of the sisters... I am the Balance of the world." * A small girl with long bright blue hair and Sky-blue eyes steps forward. “I am Lapis Lazuli the 1st Black dragon of the sisters... I am the Law of the world." * A tall man with white hair and grey eyes steps forward “I am Grey the 2nd black dragon of the sisters... I am the Chaos of the world." * A large bald man with a long black beard and piercing red eyes steps forward. “I am Titan the 4th back dragon of the sisters... I am the Selfishness of the world." * An elegant woman with fire red hair and red glowing eyes steps forward. “I am Vox Aria the 5th black dragon of the sisters... I am the evil of the world." * All five put there hands up in front of them with the palms facing a center focus. The bright light subsides. The time begins to flow forward. and the world phases in around them. They all say: “We shall rule this world together and the rules for us are written." * Five books bound in black leather, with five black dragons embossed on both sides, and about the size of a university text book appears in the focal point. each one of them takes one and then disappears. All but Makii. “Now to wait, I can feel that someone will be here soon" |

The place where Makii stands is his own home. It is a small floating island with several buildings, a lake, and a very large tree that covers almost 1/3 of the island. There are 5 main buildings. There is makii's home, the bathhouse/dojo, the temple, The Light house tower, and the guest house. There is a cemetery with 5 statues and an entrance into the catacombs. And there is a boat dock on the lake. There is also a starship docking platform. The "Steel Angel Nostromo" is currently docked there. The island floats about 1000 feet from the village below. The only way to get to the village below is to take the elevator located in the tower. There are 11 mooring lines the run down to the 11 towers of the village walls. The island has a space time tear in it that water flows from (though no one knows where the water comes from). The island gets its power from an IPS engine (Infinite Power Supply) that runs off of the gravity of the planet. The tower produces a shield that domes the village and the island. The only way to enter the village is the front gate or request permission to dock at the docking platform. Most just land outside the village and venture in the front gate. When someone enters the world they appear, usually, at the tower or somewhere outside of the village. ========= Makii looks into the mirror just right of the front door of his house. He sees that his form is still the same. about 6'3" shoulder leangth black hair and blue/green eyes. He sees that he is wearing a black form fitting body suite made from an unknow material, a pair of black combat style boots, and a large duster made out of the same material that is reinforced with plates Made by a company called Nanocorp. He also sees a small crystal set into a badge that says Steel Angel on his right lappel. "Well i guess im ready to go" Makii walks out of his front door and over to the spirit bell. He grabs the rope and shakes it, causing the spirit bell to ring a few times. He waits for a few moments and the walks down the steps and down the cobblestone walkway towards the light tower. He notices the blooming daffodils along the side of the walkway. "Hmm i wonder if she will like these." he says softly as he continues walking. As Makii approches the light tower his form starts to distort. He shakes his head and the distortion fades. He walks around the tower sees a girl standing there but continues toward the temple. when he reaches the temple he looks to his left and notices the cemetary. 'I guess i can go down there.' he thinks to himself. as he walks toward the cemetary he sees the form of a statue come into focus. He walks into the cemetary through the cast iron gate and immidiatly stops noticing that the cemetary was carried through to this world from his last. "you follow me no matter where i go dont you." he mutters. he notices the base stone is still the same. "My Angel, My Love" Celest Marie Poore ~1981-2000~ Guarding us even in death. Makii stares at the statue for a few minutes then turns and walks away. "I am sorry i did not save you." after a small prayer, makii walks out of the cemetary and erupts his wings. 'i wonder what else is around here?'in mid thought he launches into the air with a single thrust from his large wings. After leveling off his flight at about 5000 feet he starts gliding in a slow lazy spiral looking around the area. Makii shifts to full dragon form causing a huge explosion of energy all around him that cuases the clouds to be pushed away from him for about a mile. He then dives toward the Floating island and slams down in the middle of the lake. "Well that was kinda fun" he says as hey walks out of the lake. Makii shakes his body from nose to tale then walks over to the edge of the island. |

| The massive dragon stoops over and drops his head to about eye level of the two standing before him. As he gazes into the eyes of the man, his form smoothly shifts to his humanoid form. “My name is Makii I’m the curator of this island. And as to why you’re both here… I will explain tomorrow. For now you may go anywhere on this island and, by all means do so.” Makii shifts his attention to the girl. “I see you made it here in one piece.” He gets closer to her. Almost face to face. “Don’t worry your memory will come back.” Makii stands up into a formal posture and turns his back to the two. “Now do you have any questions for me?” puts his hand out to the lake and starts manipulating the water, Making forms and visuals from the water droplets. “no I will not eat you” he says as he continues to wait for a question. | |||

| Makii laughs a little then drops the water back to the lake. “You are wrong.” He turns toward the two. “I did not bring you here.” he smiles at the girl. “You brought you here. I do know you but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Follow me if you wish.” The man turns back around and starts toying with the water again. | |||

| Makii turns around and looks at the newly arrived. “Hmmm you are an interesting one.” Makii smiles almost a maniacally evil smirk. “How rude of me… My Name is Makii I am the curator of this island.” He looks at the other two and then back to the newcomer. “Feel free to look around, and by all means do look around.” Makii shifts his pose a little revealing the arm and part of a face of a silver haired girl. She looks to be about 16, small build, Emerald green eyes, and standing only to Makii’s chest. “Primula prep tonight’s dinner.” The girl shifts herself behind Makii, and vanishes. “So my good sir do you have any questions for me. If not I really must be going.” Makii looks at Sorcha and smiles. “ And yes you can follow me I really do not mind.” | |||

| Makii turns to his left, from looking at the lake. He starts walking down the path toward the tower. He does not say anything as he walks past the growing group of people. Makii turns and goes counter clockwise around the tower to a path that he could have easily just turned left to get to. He heads to a small building that looks like a temple of sorts and stops at the entrance steps.

| Makii reaches up and grabs the spirit bell rope and jiggles it a little bit. The sound brings Sorchas mind back to the present. " Sorcha do you realy not remember anything from before?" He ask in a low questioning tone. " Do you not remember me?" he continues. Makii turns from her before she can answer and starts to head for the entrance to the temple. | Makii stopped for a moment and lifted his nose to the air. Taking a few sniffs of the air he notices that someone was ahead. "hmmm, and it looks like there is yet another one." He whipered as he started walking up the stairs a little faster. making sure to count out loud the number of steps as he accended. He looked back over his shoulder to check on Sorcha, trying not to make it appearant.

| Makii looked up at the girl standing in the doorway as he continued up the stairs. when he reached the top he stopped and looked the girl up and down. " How in the world did you get up here?" he asked with puzzlement. without missing a beat he walked right through her. " I guess i need to re-align the tower already."
He smiled slightly as he passed through the girl and into the temple. " All your questions will be answered tomorrow young one" he stated as he continued further into the temple. *Anyone looking up toward the temple will see apparitions walking up the stairs and into the temple.* *at this point anyone who was not counting while going up the stairs can hear voices in thier head though the languages are incomprehensable.* (Last edited by Makii Tachibana on 01-25-11 02:29 AM) |

| I am suprised there was not a thread about this awsome anime. please post some reviews about it.
This series mad me cry with joy and sorrow. here is a review written by one of my best friends. This is a fairly melodramatic anime but it is also touching and very rewarding if you stay with it. Yuichi comes back to his aunt's home after seven years. However, he doesn't have any memory of the last time he was there. He meets people that just come into his life which you surmise must have some link to the past. It is winter almost throughout the anime, which perfectly mirrors the sentiment of the characters. Every episode, there are 24 in all, feels onto the next extremely well and the plot is very adult when it comes to themes of love and loss. You'll ready want to watch this to the end to see how the story evolves. Nothing else to say other than highly recommended. |

| "you may do what ever you like. i encourage you to look around the island and for the reason you are here... " Makii looks ove rhis shoulder. " I will talk with everyone about it tomorrow." Makii continues walking deeper into the temple.
The temple is very elegant. the architecture seems to flow, almost moving to the eye. there are large pillars running down either side of a grand entry made from lace agate. deeper into the temple there is an alter with a single beem of light shing onto it. there are many paintings and sculptures ranging from humanoid to absolute alien. next to one of the statues there is a hole that looks about the size of a human and looks like it was recently created. |

| Makii looked up at the girl now on his shoulders. " So you want to stay with me?" Makii smiled then started walking forward toward the alter. " Old habits are hard to break i suppose." with that Makii put his arms around her legs and jumped to the cieling. He landed on the cieling feet first and stuck as though gravity had been reversed. He continued walking toward the alter.
* The art work and sculptures seem familiar. They look exacly like you. almost a relfection of your moods, wants, desires, and everything between. Its almost as though you are looking at your past present and future. One of the pieces of art has a picture of you laying on a table. With it is a note that you cannot quite make out. Further inspection produces a plate at the bottom of the frame. It says: "Dedicated to the Hall of Time in memory of the few who broke the cypher and saved humanity." * |

| Makii looked down at Sorcha. " Maybe the extra blood flow will help you remember... or maybe not" Makii let go of her and let her fall to the floor below. right before impact makii cast a small spell making her stop then slowly float to the floor.
* The paintings an sculptures depiced a battle that will be waged. Alot of death and destruction but most of the scenes are a little blurry. One shows a group of people fighting a very large black dragon and losing. Another shows a man holding a girl infront of a burning fortress. Yet, another one shows a group of people on the bridge of a starship. * Makii stops and turns toward Kahlida. " This is the Halls of Time. You will never age here. The entire world has stopped to us. This is the place where memories past, present, and future are stored. The Fates are here aswell just beyond the alter. Try not to bother them to much." Makii turned back and walked up to the alter. As hes sat down on it his form shifted to a small dragonett form about the size of a small tiger. |

| *Peering into the hole in the wall you see a young girl with long silverish hair and a small set of dragon wings setting a table with very elegant dish sets and silverware. The food on the table consist of a large roasted bird and several side dishes that look and smell very appitizing. There is a large fieplace with a wood fire and a hanging kettle prosumably with stew in it. *
Makii turns into a small dragonett statue on the alter. Not moving anymore but with a smile on his little gragon face. * The girl can be heard humming a tune, very relaxing to the listener. she notices the other worldly girl standing near the hole. " You may come in dinner is just about to be served." she says with no emotional overtones. her eyes have no pigment almost ghostly.* |

| A reply came from behind her. " Im right behind you girl... NOW MOVE... GO GO GO! " A tall man with bright blue hair, green eyes, and a scar on his face that ran down from the top of his right brow down his cheak ran up behind her. He is holding a kendo boken (wood practice katana) and wearing nothing but hakama pants and tabi boots. On his chest was a large cross that runs from the top of his chest, across both pecktorals and down past is naval. |
