any system under capitalism? As soon as money comes into the equation they stop caring about you and start caring about profit[but maybe I'm just jaded from being under the terrorist regime of the B.C. lib*coughconservative*erals]
fairly severe pain for an extended period of time, and not being able to touch it. like an angry, pointy bug in my ear or something along the lines of "Hostel" scary movies, but they're kinda fun anyways things[people]that may or may not be in the dark on the street at 4 am. losing my mobility [becoming deaf, a vegetable, losing a limb etc] heights, those really fast, ugly, twitchy spiders and earwigs [but I still wont kill either of them]... gaining 30-600 pounds... that last one's a little odd but still scares the shit out of me =( |

Bees, hornets, and other such creatures that sting. Spiders, roaches... heights somewhat. Failure, and being alone (literally) when I die. I also have a mild case of asphixiphobia (fear of suffocation) |

I'm mostly just afraid of other people, loud noises, etc.
EDIT: Christ that makes me sound like a basket case! |

Directly, not a lot scares me. Indirectly, I suppose affects me the most though. Losing my family or friends would be right up there near the top though. Other than those, I've already lived through a lot of things that I would have said was my worst fear or fears. In a way, they still are, it's just, now that things have already happened, it's not really something I can stay scared about, I just have to live with it, and hope I never go through it again.
On a more personal note: I'm not scared of hights, but falling scares the color out of my face. I love to go diving off of small cliffs into rivers or lakes, but the whole time I'm falling my heart races and my mind goes "WTF am I doing!?!?" Oh, Evo, I know what freaks you out! You love to chase fish and try to catch them, but you come out of the water screaming or freaking out if you actually _do_ catch one Yes, I do remember you doing that several times out at the river I thought it was funny as hell. |

Crickets. dark bathrooms. And MILD heights. The ones where I know if I fall, it will hurt, but won't kill me. High hights don't bother me, though.
And that's all I can htink of. haha |

I have really irrational fears, like:
Heights, spiders, being burned alive, being rejected, failure. Etc. I have many fears, I just test them and act like they don't bother me when they really really do. |

Personally, anything underwater or drowning for instance. I can't barely touch the swimming pools because I freaked out and Icy cold showers. Last summer, I accidently went into the water fire hydrants and choke to death. Damn! .o. I can't even get cool when I'm burning.

Death
I know it seems stupid, everyone has to die, but the thought of the pain is to be expected. Im afraid of heights, but I love getting on rollercoasters. Im also afraid of the ali-baba peeps that go to Disney on vacation. One of them put some type of curse on me because he waited in a line for 2 hours at Splash mountain. |

Spiders. Yesterday on the way home from a track meet a spider appeared on the back of the seat in front of me and I freaked out and picked up a cheese-it box to strike it down with. Before I could my friend was like "Wait let me get it! I have a paper towel!" So I waited and he tried to kill it and it only got flung onto my seat right in front of me. I yelled and bashed it several times and in the process spilled my friends moms drink onto the carpet. I was breathing hard for 10 minutes. |

I actually really like snakes...they're pretty cool. And bugs are uber fascinating. I love them. However, I am petrified of roaches and waterbugs (people who live in cities should know what waterbugs are...)
Sucky thing is, when you live in a city, s'pecially as close to center city as I do, when the weather is warm and damp, they're all over the place. The weather hasn't been warm here lately though, but I guess they're so used to coming out this time of year? **shrugs** Either way, they just freak me out. One crawled on me once and I threw up. The second I felt it and then saw it, I just threw up. Then there was another time I got my one manager to actually pick me up and carry me past it when we left work one night. It was freaking huge. **shudders** (Yes, most of my recent stories are of work. I have practically lived there lately.) |
