Originally posted by Elara None really, and it comes with a converter. Although I'd say the holes are for balance, not an ink viewer. Ink is pretty cheap though, so I recoup losses pretty fast. I'm old fashioned and still write notes in pen, so I'd go through disposable pens rather quick. Another thing is that while fountain pens might seem more expensive, the ones people use for day-to-day writing are usually in a very affordable range () and nibs are really cheap and work better over time, and while those thin line pens (<0.5mm) always cost a lot, a fine or extra fine nib does the job nicely. And fountain pens need a lot less force to apply ink to paper, although this one works for legal papers even. It has really nice balance though, and it's lighter than it looks. I miss my old one though, it was a black Sheaffer, although it took a while to get used to and was a bit heavier. Also, I like using the Pentel sharp for pencil-work, and you've probably seen one of these: |

I remember Lisa Frank stationary. Dear gods, I was addicted to that stuff. The sparkle stickers were my favorite part of those sets, especially the penguins and orcas.
Oh gods, what if they ever made a Lisa Frank fountain pen? |

I only use the black ink often whenever I write. But rarely uses green, purple, blue and red ink. I kept these special color pens for about 5 years.
But I cannot afford something like a fountain pen. |

That's my reason for using a computer more... My handwriting is pretty bad. |

Fountain pens are nice... But honestly I am in the same boat as Danny Phantom.
I very rarely write anymore, and if I do... I use a pencil or black ballpoint pen. |

It looks nifty. Does it give you any problems with the ink or anything like that? |

I've always wanted a fountain pen, just never had the money at the time I see the one's I really like. Usually I just make due with what I got. |

The only pens I've ever needed were some nice pens that I could ink my pictures with. But those are just regular ballpoint pens really.
That is a nice pen though. |

I can't write, so I have no use for pens. |

As long as I have a black pen, a blue pen and a pencil, I'm fine.
Even then, I don't write much on paper at all... I'm more of a typing kinda guy. |

I love pens. I'd have an infinite collection of pens if I could afford the really cool ones. I like the ones where you can write upside down, like in bed or something. Those are neat. |

I don't see the point in getting special, expensive pens... Cheap ball point pens do me just fine. |

Sorry, no camera, so I'll just link someone else's picture of it:
It's a Rotring Core, and it only cost me ten dollars! I'm using ruby ink, and it looks awesome. |
