An excellently written series of books, a series I really loved reading (three times for the first couple books, before I got the rest). Best of all, it's a biting commentary on how government interference in the lives of the common man ultimately end in opperssion, stagnation, and eventually revolution. Am I the only one who noticed the parallels between the Old World of the novels and the now-defunct Soviet Union, or worse, the extremist Muslim terroists/fanatics in the middle east? Minus the magic, of course. |

I've read the first two books and the prequel (A Debt of Bones), but then my friend's copy of Blood of the Fold got stolen and I've been unable to finish it. I really need to. |

Well, I saw a glimpse of a preview of the movie "Seeker" and I thought that it might be from Terry Goodkind's bestselling book.... It wasn't.
But I got curious. I wandered over to imdb and looked him up. Apparently, they've got plans to release a miniseries in 2008! Anyone else ever read these amazing books? |
