That's what I thought. They made the special features look like it really happened like they didn't show any of the actors and they showed their film class teacher talking about the "project" but I figured that it was all just to make it seem more realistic. |

Like Cloverfield, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Fargo, despite their prior notes that might lead a person to believe they were real, all of which including the Blair Witch are fictitious.
Granted TCM is loosely based on Ed Gein, it's still fake. |
