Yeah and I'm really quite sad about that too. I would have loved to see a Captain America picture that features Wolverine (though he's a part of the Fox-owned X-Men) during World War 2.
I guess they could try and get away with it since Marvel Enterprises is doing Wolverine/Logan/James Howlett's origin story. Whoops, time for a new thread on Marvel. Rogue over and out. |

Yeah, the FF movies aren't by the same people as the Iron Man/Hulk/Avengers movie (BTW, that part at the end was the best part of the whole movie).
Another thing that bugged me: No matter how fast or nimble you make Blonsky, if he's still using guns to try and take out the Hulk, it doesn't make a fucking bit of difference... |

Yeah, TP, she was definitely in LotR. And she was lame.
Back to Hulk, what I've seen so far is actually pretty good. You'll have to forgive me for this, but I'm slowly watching it bit by bit off Tudou. I've only just seen about two-thirds of it. My one disappointment thus far: Spoiler: "Mr. Blue" wasn't fucking Reed Richards like I was wishing and hoping it was. Bummer. |

Wasn't Liv Tyler in Lord of the Rings? Or am I on crack? If she was, I didn't like her in LotR.
I've been hearing Hulk has good entertainment value and works for what it is. It can be difficult to make a movie based on Hulk, so give them some effort points. |

Originally posted by FX She's ALWAYS terrible, and I'm really not kidding when I say she's ruined a lot of movies out there with how annoyingly bad she is--Empire Records especially. Anyway, from what I've seen of this Hulk, it's just her wandering around, trying to look concerned and mumbling, "Bruce..." like it was the first fucking line of Citizen Kane. Now in response to the whole Hulk rubbing his head thing, yeah, that was pretty silly. But then again so's every time a man takes the worst beating of his life, bullets whizzing by his head. He's punching out wolves, outrunning tanks, so on and so forth. He looks pretty fucking fierce. But yet, once a woman is cleaning his wounds he's the biggest fucking baby about it (see: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Beauty and the Beast, etc). I mean, maybe the bullets, bombs, grenades, and shit really do hurt him, but he tries his damnedest to make it seem like he's absolutely unmoved by the attacks outside of it making him angrier, but with Betty he becomes slightly more human-like and accidentally showed that hitting one's head on solid rock can hurt once in a while? Or maybe it's all the adrenaline that makes him damn near invincible? Either way, Liv Tyler blows chunks as an actress. Just because her dad's in Aerosmith doesn't mean jack any more. |

It was pretty good, on par with Iron Man. Three things though:
1) I really wish they had made the Hulk look a little like Edward Norton. I know, they made it look like the Hulk from the comics, but wouldn't it have been cool if it had some of his features? 2) Liv Tyler was bloody TERRIBLE! Her acting is the worst part of the movie. 3) There are some really stupid parts. Really stupid. For example, the Hulk has just withstood tanks, missles, a helicopter crashing into him, and he's in a cave with Betty, and she screams when she sees him, he jumps, bumps his head on the ceiling, and starts rubbing it as if it really hurt. There are far too many moment's like this. |

Think I'll wait to hear more opinions before I see this one ...
No idea what to expect. |

Originally posted by insectduel I have no doubt that it is. I was among those who saw the previous Hulk in theaters its opening weekend (midnight that Thursday night/Friday morning to be precise), and to be honest I didn't find it all that horrible. I thought it was odd overall that they changed up his origin story to be this overly dramatic father/son story. I guess over time I started wishing it was done a little differently. And hey, Marvel's finally doing crossovers. Awesome. Still need to see this new one, though. |

Yes, but you forget Kris Kristofersen's entire character. And the dogs... |

Originally posted by Kyoku kun Whoever told you that should now be shunned. I really have no idea why so many people hated the first one. It had plenty of cool "Hulkness", a good story, pretty good acting, and probably the most scientifically accurate super hero I've seen in movies. Unlike, say, Spider-Man, every single questiony uo could ahve about the Hulk was answered if you examined the movie close enough. Also, that big fight between him and the Helicopters was just plain awesome. |

I actually did saw the first one. But I haven't seen the recent one. However, a lot people say that the 2008 version of The Incredible Hulk is better than the previous one. |

I was planning on going, but after I bought tickets and everything the car that I was driving in ran out of oil on the side of the freeway. I doubt I'll have time to watch it in theaters, but it defiantly looked interesting.
I never saw the previous Hulk movie, but I had always heard that it sucked... |

I actually saw this monday night. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than the first one. It kinda takes on the story line of the original series.
has anyone else seen it yet? |

Personally I didn't think Hulk was as bad as people claim it is either, but that's the general public for you. They'll like one thing and hate another just as quickly.
But an Edward Norton vs. Tim Roth piece sounds intriguing enough, especially juxtaposed to a Hulk vs. Abomination storyline since both pairs are very much alike one another. |

Unlike most people I actually really liked the first one...
But this one is looking pretty awesome too. I'm just suprised at how late they're being with all the advertisements, I'm not sure how many people will even realize that this movie exists... Also, Edward Norton has been fighting with the studios about how the movie should end, which could cause even more problems for this movie. Abomination still looks awesome though. |

Edward Norton this time will taking on the role of Bruce Banner who'll face off with Abomination this time (or A-Bomb as he calls himself), played by Tim Roth.
As I'd mentioned to a few people, apparently they're planning on doing this up like Batman Begins and pretending the previous flick doesn't exist. |
