Hm. That's a shocker. No offense to the guy, but I never found his stuff to be really funny. It could be because I haven't heard all of his comedy, but I have heard quite a bit. People who are fans have my condolences, and at least there will be others rising to be just as good as he was. |

George Carlin is the guest host and does some stand up between skits. Damn this is depressing. |

I was just watching this show he did to commemorate his 70th birthday, called "It's Bad For Ya." I damn near cried with all the things he had to say about the world and how much he got to get it all off his chest before he passed.

This made me really sad.  I love George Carlin. He said all the things that everyone thought, but was just afraid to say. His work was true genious. I think that he'll really be more known than ever now that he is dead. It's that whole 'you don't appreciate something until it's gone' thing. |
