Ok, so does anyone see any problems at all with the dashboard change?

Maybe...
Oh. I dunno...

Every single time Microsoft updates the dashboard, even slightly, a new wave of 360's red ring.

Good luck guys.

Seriously...

Would have been epic if the carpet's matched the drapes. However, that is something only anime people can have.

Maybe the Japanese.

Actually yeah, Kotaku mentioned one company had both babes. And of all people, it was Nyko.

Yum.

Actually I think I read on Kotaku that there were booth babes...or maybe that was E for all? I am not sure.

Sure the PS3 has its super-upcoming of FPS games on the market, but MAG looks to be a very interesting MMOFPS (Methinks) so far. Plus Sony is bringing out some kinda kiddy MMORPG that is available for free.

I agree with Xeo about the whole E3 being super booring. If Sony announced Home and LBP this year, it would have been totally different. But nooooo, they had to launch their guns a little early diddnt they?

I like the new PSN Video store however, was a nice addition!

So, there was some stuff here and there, but overall I think it's very safe to say this was by far one of the worst E3's ... ever. Incredibly boring.

Not really surprised I guess, since it's just been getting progressively worse and worse every year and the lack of company interest doesn't help either.

And no booth babes

I'm glad they're bringing back online play, but how long will the servers be up, and will we get voice chat? (The Ad-Libs for RE:OB were horrible.)

There is no reason for me to get a PS3 anymore.

I hated the new dashboard at first too, but think about it. The blades is so clunky and slow and really shitty when you think about it. This will run a lot smoother.

I actually just got an Xbox 360 Elite, and...the dashboard runs at super speed, so...not idea what you're talking about. Anyway, this is sounds pretty cool, Fable 2 and FFXIII are both sounding good.

Somebody's parents should buy their kid an XBox360, I think... <<

Seriously though... I like this dashboard change.
Resident Evil 5, i really wish it was on PS3 and XBox360, even if the release is later on(on the 360), I'd like to see a push for it.

Why would you hope it would come out on one console than another? I'd prefer it if it came out on all consoles.

And that's a lot of updates for the dashboard...

Whoa. I hope it's good game but I hope it will be for the Wii than PS3.

I don't think that'll happen, they'd really have to tone down the graphics and everything.

MS Conference Highlights:

-The entire dashboard is being redesigned from scratch this Fall
-Every user now uses an Avatar
-Up to 8 friends can get together in a "Live Party", and chat, share photos and more
-Adding new Video Store partners: NBC, and Universal
-European Video Store getting MGM and... someone I cannot remember.
-Netflix being added directly to the dashboard
-Live Party friends can watch Netflix vids with you over the net
-New Primetime section allows users to play Live gameshows with friends
-Full retail disc games can be dumped to the HDD to cut down load times and disc spinning noises. The disc still has to be in as proof of ownership of course.
-16x10 resolutions supported over VGA and HDMI
-Marketplace can browsed via a normal web browser, and content can be sent directly to the 360 console from there.
-The current blade system is being condensed down into the new Guide, so that much like the PS3's in-game XMB, you can access all your content from anywhere on the system.

-Fallout 3 will get 360-and-PC-exclusive DLC
-Fable 2 dated for October 2008; development has finished
-Resident Evil 5 has online two-player co-op, dated for March 13th 2009
-Gears of War 2, includes new 5-man co-op mode called Horde, where you fight off wave after wave of enemies, coming November 7th worldwide
-Final Fantasy XIII comes to 360 the same day as PS3 (in the US and Europe)

-Rock Band 2 allows users to export "most" songs from the RB1 disc to play in RB2 (for a $5 unlock fee), in addition to all DLC. The RB2 disc includes 84 tracks, plus 20 free bonus tracks as DLC on day one. In total, there will be over 500 playable RB2 tracks by year's end.
-Guitar Hero: World Tour will get exclusive rights to Van Halen and the Eagles tracks
-GH3 (and GH:WT) will get Metallica's new album day-and-date with the standard release
-EBA (and Ouendan) developers Inis are creating Lips for 360. Think Singstar, but with wireless mics and the ability to pull songs from your iPod or Zune and sing them in game. Includes 2 wireless, light-up, motion sensitive mics.

-Scene It? Box Office Smash! coming this year, with Avatar support
-You're In the Movies announced, a camera-based family title where you play EyeToy style minigames and then get cut into a movie. Will ship with a Vision camera.

New Arcade titles coming soon:
-Portal: Still Alive, all-new test chambers - a 2008 exclusive on 360
-Banjo-Kazooie, the N64 original, coming this year
-Galaga Legions, the first true sequel to Galaga, developed by the Pac-Man CE team, dated for next month
