Man, I still haven't even beaten Rearmed. Pretty tough stuff, but I love it and that's really how old games were (unforgiving, trial and error).

Also been playing CoD4 a lot lately again. Almost at the 7th Prestige, hoping to hit the 9th or last one soon ... I'm not sure what I want to do. I like the 9th icon more than the 10th, but it'll be nice to be maxed out.

What my friends and I loved doing with the custom levels, was make everything enclosed. So there were ceilings and walls everywhere, but we'd place a few holes around so people can eventually get launched out when we were at like 300% haha. It was so goofy but good times.

I thought Brawl was okay, my friends and I had a lot of fun with the level editor. But the "tripping" sucked and yeah... in retrospect I don't think about it much compared to the original and Melee.

Ultimate feels like a nice in between. I'm glad they nerfed Final Smashes, but now Pokemon/Assist trophies seem insane haha.

fun fact, there's a Wii HBC exploit involving the level editor xD

smash 64 is still played on kaillera servers using either mupen64++ or project64k btw, or even retroarch i think may work in the future for that!

Playing "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" now. I'm still a low level, but I've been running around in areas where all the enemy NPCs at level 42 because fuck it, I've got a ship, a horse I can summon and run EVERYWHERE, and an eagle that can show me where all the bad guys are.

Same here actually, SC2 ruled. Kilik is still cool but I think I like Seong Mina more now.

Been using Maxi mainly and now I have to checkout my girl 2B! Looks amazing.

Been playing a lot of Smash Ultimate too. I haven't been as into them since Melee and Brawl, but I'm really digging this one. Took 15 hours to unlock everyone... lmao. I like some ideas about the World of Light (adventure mode) and the Spirit Board, but it can be frustrating too.

Other than that I beat Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night again recently with the PS4 Castlevania "Requiem" release.

Yeah, I ended up beating it the next day. Did not expect it to be so short. Well, still good.

Wow, I haven't played Soul Caliber in at least a decade. And even then, it was the second one. Kilik was my man.

That's a great game, it's not too long so hopefully you stick with it and figure things out! Excellent writing.

Playing Soul Calibur 6 a lot lately myself. A nice return to form!

I just started playing "Firewatch." I'm not sure how well I'm doing, and I really don't want to look up how to play this game and end up spoiling it.

It's one of those mostly open world games where I easily end up running around in circles, especially since the map is something your character actually has to hold in front of himself. God help you if you have to look at the map while you're holding something else.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker from Owlcat Games and Paizo. It is a nice throwback to games like Baulder's Gate and the original Neverwinter Nights. Like I said in my review on the Facebook page, it does have some glitches that can be annoying, but Owlcat is putting out hotfixes every few days and working on the first big patch due later this month. I definitely think they should have fixed a bit more before launch since it has a beta test feel to it, but I still am enjoying the game.

And the music... seriously, it makes me happy. My favorite part mechanically, though, is the map exploration because it replicates using minis on a tabletop and it is just cute.

I'm pretty burned out on superhero movies still, but I really want to play the new Spider-Man! Want to hit up God of War eventually too. I'm always a little behind heh, though I'm playing Yakuza Kiwami 2 right now.

Same. I'm not interested in playing a game against kids who have nothing better to do than grind their character all day and night while I'm at work, doing other shit with my life, and then get on the game just to have these toddlers repeatedly frag my ass.

Yeah, not to mention the whole nuke thing seems like it could be potentially annoying.

And I swear I think I heard somewhere that you only join up with like ~36 other players at a time, or something like that. Yet... they're saying the game is like 4x bigger than Fallout 4. So how long will it take to even see anyone!?

Too many questions for this game that Bethesda keeps sidestepping. I think this could be a hot mess. And to think months ago they were so proud of how much they uplift single player games. That's all I want with my Fallout's!

I've been meaning to check out the remaster. It's cool on Steam they gave it away for free if you owned the original.

Either way yeah, TE6 can't come soon enough! But I think I might need a new rig myself coming up here soon, even though my GTX 1060 has been treating me very well. I have a hunch it won't be close to enough for Cyberpunk.

I still haven't beaten Skyrim to be honest. I got the upgraded edition, and my graphics card started acting wonky... I honestly haven't been using my laptop much at all since then out of fear of it failing. I definitely need a new rig before TES6 comes out.

I'm really slow on games... I just started playing Skyrim (with mods to make it look good, of course) a few weeks ago. I'm loving it! I almost wish I had played it when it came out... But some of these environmental mods are just too good.

Yup, been going through the new "God of War." It's a gorgeous game.

Since we were gone for three weeks, I had to do my damnedest to avoid spoilers. I even ran into a Kratos at the Georgia Renaissance Faire and we got to talking. Thankfully the worst he said was, "The twist at the end is gonna get you!" Well, what game DOESN'T have a twist at the end, these days?

Might I recommend Horizon Zero Dawn? It is truly a beautiful game and I think you guys would enjoy it. The DLC was also worth it and more challenging.

Finished my second playthrough of Andromeda... ultimately made a lot of the same choices, but liked the changes that I made better than the original run. Liam is a bit less of a tool than I thought, but still disappointed with the lackluster romances.

In case you are wondering why it took such a long time between starting my second playthrough and finishing it... well.... I may have had a small addiction with Stardew Valley on the Switch for a bit. I never did get into Harvest Moon or any similar games but I have to say that it is surprisingly easy to get sucked in.
