Still not getting Fox or channel 13. Never realized how much I have the TV on those channels when there's nothing else on... or even just on Sundays.
I'm pleased that the PBS has like 12 channels now, though. |

Signal always sucks for us because of all of the buildings around us blocking it. Seriously, if you shift position while sitting it can be enough to cause it to lose signal. The picture looks a bit better when it is coming in good, but that is about it since more often than not the screen is black with the "signal strength too low" message. Luckily we don't watch enough tv for it to matter to us. I'm sure if we actually had cable it would be better, but meh. |

Yeah, Fox and its sister station here in L.A., My13 (which used to be UPN), isn't coming in well enough to watch at all. No matter how we adjust the antenna, we just can't see any of it.
Were several of the stations down for you this past weekend? It seemed no matter what we do with the antenna the bar for signal quality never gets passed 10%. |

I have Charter. Looks as good as it used to, I didn't even see a difference. Hell, I didn't even need to get a new box! |

Originally posted by Rogue It's not quite easy. I have to adjust the antenna every time to raise the meter. There's the METER button in the DTV remote. Once it's goes red, it pixilated. Green may be the best picture quality if you need to see certain DTV channels. My channels, ABC, CW, and Thirteen have weak signals. |

Oh joy, everything comes in pixilated. How was this supposed to be better again? |

I brought my DTV converter box since February. And last weekend, I recently hook it onto my living room TV.
My own room TV is broken, even with DTV Converter, I can still see waves. So I need to buy a new DTV for my room. My mom failed to get cable anyway so I never told her that I'm getting a converter box until she sees me hooked it up on my living room TV. |

Yeah, you should be fine.
The thing that sucks, though, is that the box is often not enough and we may need to replace the antenna. Yep, the government found a way to make non-cable/satellite users pay for television. |

I think that we will be fine, since the tv we have is digital ready. |

So who else had to get one of those digital converters for their TV? I'm sure I'm probably one of maybe 10 people who had to.
It kinda helps that the government gave rebate coupons so you didn't have to pay much if anything at all for the boxes. |
