Salads. lol
I'm experimenting with them a lot lately and trying to get into them. I think my ultra high carb diet has been destroying my stomach, seems to be a huge issue with acid reflux and TMJ which are my two big things. I have been eating a lot of greens for the last few years though, broccoli, spinach, kale, and asparagus, I freaking love that stuff. But hopefully replacing a meal with salads will make me feel better. |

I have lately been drinking coffee like it's some sort of Olympic sport I'm training for. I need it so bad just to make it through the long hours of this job. I've caught myself starting to doze while driving.
Seriously, though, I'm averaging two large iced coffees a day from the McDonald's across the street and occasionally picking up more from the gas station next door. Also been obsessively attending Shakespeare plays this year, more so than last. Have seen "Richard III," "The Tempest," "The Devil's Bride" (a bad fan-written sequel to "Much Ado About Nothing"), "Titus Andronicus," a Pokemon Go take on "Romeo and Juliet," "Othello," a play explaining the history connecting the plays "Richard II," the Henrys (IV parts 1 and 2, V, and VI parts 1, 2, and 3), and "Richard III," and we're seeing "Much Ado About Nothing" tomorrow night and see "Cymbeline" next week. |

My last few posts and one of my threads, along with my username and new site design for DJX Gamers, AND this post layout, pretty much says it all.
I'm not think it's a small obsession because yeah |

Dude, the Civilization games are amazing. I would highly recommend them. My favorite was an oldie, Alpha Centauri, which came out soon after Star Craft. It's old, but if you're new to this time of game, it's a good place to start. |

I've heard many excellent things about Civilization V. I still haven't tried any games like that, but always loved the base building aspects of RTS's and such haha. Maybe I'd love those. |

Dragon Age... yes... still. I read fan fiction, for crying out loud!
Civilization V - my friend got it for me for my birthday. I've only had like one day to really play it so far... but... well... I looked up and it was turn 350 and like 2am when I needed to work at 9am. Warm things... it is winter, so I've been spending my time resisting the urge to buy all the warm fuzzy socks and sweaters at work... mostly because it is freezing at work. |

I would just write, "FALLLLLLOUUUUTTTT FOOOOOOUR!!" but it hasn't been the be all and end all of my world just yet.
It helps that I was unemployed when I played the other games. |

Elite: Dangerous keeps dragging me back out into the vast emptiness of space, and I enjoy every minute of it. |

I'm back and also to refresh this thread, here's mine:
-Donkey Kong Country series (SNES). Mostly, because I was playing it a while ago and forgot how good it was, so ended up obsessing over it... those developers sure are 'wise'. -Windows Vista. I'm now using it, I dunno why people hate on it because if you take time with it, it's a great OS. Not to mention, it won't force you to upgrade to Windows 10. Only bad thing about this is that it is an AMD machine from around 2010, so doesn't have OpenGL 3.3 and Dolphin 4.0 is really slow (3.5 and 3.0 are fine running here though). -The GameCube. Now I think it is on par with SNES as being the best consoles. (and not just cos of MKDD either). I have all the demo discs on this machine which were used in kiosks, including the EU and Japan ones which no one seems to care of, except Japan's January 2004 edition. Other stuff too but I don't care for mentioning it. (also, I still can't login, god dammit) |

Screw it. BUMP!
Current Obsessions: - My love for Shakespeare re-awakened with a vengeance, specifically "Much Ado About Nothing," which has been my favorite play for nearly 20 years. I keep reading and re-reading people's chapters, essays, critiques, and so on for it. I guess it also helps that two of the Shakespeare groups I go see every year are performing it this summer. I've also been really into this webseries coming out of New Zealand, loosely based on it. - Icelandic sagas. Got really into reading them last year, and finally read The Volsung Saga some years back. - TEA!! I've been really into loose leaf tea. I've got so friggin' many bags of it from different places right now. I like ones I can just pour some cream in and enjoy the vanilla, almond, rose, etc flavors. I've also become very into high tea these days. Really bummed this one place I love has closed up shop. - Whole Foods. For some reason I've just been REALLY into just going and hanging out at the one by my work, even on the weekends. They have the best cookies. Sure, it's $5 for three of them, but they are amazing. - Fallout. Well, I've been obsessed with it for a while, but with the announcement of 4 coming out later this year, I'm massively excited. "Mad Max: Fury Road" has been stoking that flame too. Been playing "Fallout Shelter," but I've had to scrap two vaults now because of freakishly overpowering radroach infestations. - Listening to NPR. Not only am I listening on my way to and from work, Brandon and I seem to spend most of our weekend days riding around with the dial turned to KPCC. We love a lot of their shows, but on top of this, most of the books I've been reading lately have been ones they've recommended. - Finding the perfect ramen. We've already got a favorite place, but we're constantly wanting to try new places. We don't care that it's hot, we want RAMEN!! - Indie graphic novels. I've always been into them, but it seems like I've been almost exclusively reading independents these days. Just finished "The Divine" and before that "Fun Home" and before that Will Eisner's "Last Day in Vietnam" and before that, "Nimona." |

Cowboy Bebop (specifically the music from the series, being it's the first time I actually enjoy listening to a majority of an OST for anything!~), Touhou Hisoutensoku (Or any Touhou game, really, but just this one specifically I've been playing more than the rest), and that's pretty much it.
I'll probably end up losing interest in one of the two by the end of the week. :V |

I would say that League of Legends is my latest obsession. I normally don't constantly think of particular games when I'm not playing them, but this game... seriously...
I've been playing it too much lately. |

Yeah, I finally got some free time to play Skyrim as well, so I am right there with you, Vulkar!
World designing is also a fun thing I've been doing for the last few years... though I don't have as much time for it as I used to and it makes me sad. Other than that, Pathfinder reigns supreme. |

Star Wars the Old Republic went free, so that's high on my list right now. That, and I got Skyrim.
So basically I no longer have a life. Oh, yeah! Supernatural, going through the whole series right now again. What a fantastic show. |

Fuck it, bumped!
Been obsessively watching Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, Sons of Anarchy, RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, The Big Bang Theory, and Doctor Who. Most of their seasons are ending this week or next, but then Brandon and I have got Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Eastbound and Down, Avatar: Legend of Korra, Metalocalypse, and the rest of Doctor Who's season to look forward to. |

I was kind of hoping to forget about him, since he's such a bad (or good) example of what a neglected autistic manchild is, but CWC is my odd obsession.
He "created" a mishmash of Pokémon and Sonic The Hedgehog and has this epic comic online dedicated to it, along with everything else that he fails at. But, he's got a huge troll-base, so there's that. He's got an entire wiki dedicated to his crap, the CWCki, updated by his many trolls. And his own site, that he personally updates, the CWCkipedia. Anyway, knowledge of him makes me sad, and I had forgotten. But lately, one of my other webcomic friends brought him up again, and the world is saddened again that he exists. |
