I for one am happy. It really helps out college students. As for the mandated coverage, I somehow feel that it will be like car insurance now... by law you have to have it, does everyone? No. How do you find out? When you need it.
And Blue Cross, in CA at least, is one of the worst systems right now... like, the state attorney is going after it for corrupt practices bad. |

Yeah, and, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina says that they'll have to cut $100,000,000 from their budget in order to stay alive. There is no way that this'll help our economy. |

Oh yay!
I've been without adequate health care for the past three years, so I'm happy to have something that isn't our crap of a county system. Four months wait for an appointment? I'm sick NOW, dammit. Well, I'm not. But, I do need to see a doctor anyway, and this is really helpful. And then I need my dental stuff. THAT is more important to me than anything else. |
