Haha, they obviously wanted to go overboard there.
As for the voice actors between this and One Piece, are you talking about the English version? It's funny because there's a lot of recurring actors in the Japanese shows too. Kuririn = Luffy, Piccolo = Ace, etc. Hehe. As for DBK, as I said above I'm watching the original version here and there in Japanese and I prefer it for the most part. Even in the Japanese version of DBK they got all the voice actors back to redub it, but in the Japanese casts case a lot of those people are so old and it's just not the same. The chick who plays Goku I'm pretty sure is in her 80's. I also prefer the original music. But DBK's not bad, nice to see the show trimmed down a lot. I'll probably watch it someday. I agree though the series was most epic up to the Freeza stuff, when Goku became the one and only "Legendary SSJ" and all, but the Cell stuff and somethings afterward were kind of fun. |

Yeah, I went there. Also, 90% of the actors who voiced One Piece also did DBZ Kai. Nicktoons also is hosting the Kai show on their network. The best thing I told my friends about the show is that it's screaming into the 21st century. You are not missing much but HD visuals and a new dub. Granted it's what the show should have been. But now that we have seen the series. Only hardcore fans are going to like it. Personally, I am over the whole DBZ thing. Ever since GT I lost all hope for the series. GT absolutely sucked. E- I also will say that they should have stopped with Frieza, but the Cell saga was pretty good. It's debatable really. I guess I have a different taste in anime than what I used to. |

Woah. I especially like when Vegeta screams "This is Sparta!" and then goes Super Saiyan. For some reason, that was awesome. But I am in concurrence that the first is much better. |

Of course, the one that does not work anymore is better.
I got chills up my spine from the second one though. If the first one was better, then I probably would have had to change my pants, because the second was bad ass. |

Hahahahaha. Oh the lunchboxes and ther paraphonalia. Despite my obsession with the show, when given the choice, I was still gunning more for my Star Wars stuff.
Although now I have quite the impressive collection in general, including Goku standing atop one of my shelves, and a Sailor Uranus action figure sitting on a toilet from an old dollhouse set of my sister's...both guarding my room ever so viligantly. XD As for the video? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But yeah..."what the fuck" XD |

I always planned on watching Dragon Ball Kai. It takes away the fillers, and presents us with much better quality. But despite how amazing the series is, it's rare for me to go through an entire series, despite the fact I know absolutely everything that happens.
I also have been reminded of the important moments through Dragon Ball Z Abridged. Does anyone watch that? Definitely the best abridged series out there. I remember going to video stores and seeing the VHS's with the pictures on the side of the cover, so if you have all of the videos, it makes a full scene. |
